It had been a while since she'd been to her homeworld. Well, actually it'd been months, maybe even years? The few times she traveled she felt no comfort here. Now standing in the middle of the city she looked around at the broken landscape and as a teen she still felt as if all the comfort had been drained out. She'd had a ********* with her here last time she came.

However somewhere deep inside her, she felt like she owed it to come back. Pulling down her hood and summoning Barnaby from his space pocket the teenager walked through the streets of rubble. the childish wonder had long since left and the buildings now stood empty much like a mixture of a haunted house and a carnival.

Occasionally she'd hear the wisps of laughter and joy but all of it started to become creepy and haunting. Her curls bounced softly as she walked placing a hand occasionally on a door. The homeworld even seemed devoid of life minus the growing plants. Something here haunted her but she couldn't track it. Maybe it was angry? The teenager continued to move until she jumped startled and giving a yelp before clinging to Barnaby and keeping him closer. Stuffed animals all torn, angrily cotton spilling out as if it'd been blood, how did it last so long? How did any of it?

"I don't like this place." She whispered to the bear who's smile just continued as bright as ever. Never moving or responding and yet. Hugbell felt as if an empty spot rested there with Barnaby. When she finally came to a place that looked much like a reform school the wisps of laughter and excitement grew and slowly the memories began to build the brightness and cheerful world back around her.

Watching Hugbell looked around curiously as a parade started and it seemed as if there were important people passing her. As she followed it to the school she found herself -- well her past self and a strict looking woman standing there. Both welcoming the parade.

"Now Arriving to Hugbell ambassadors from Remarque!!" The voice boomed from what appeared to be everywhere while streamers and flowers fell.

She couldn't hear everything and the scenes occasionally seemed to fuzz and blur. The next thing she knew as she was standing where her past self had the 'vision came back'.

"Hugbell. Stand up straight you can't disappoint your visitors. Honestly, you were almost late for your welcoming duties you knew they were coming. I hope you weren't off chasing some fairy tale that you found in that god forsaken forest." The strict lady continued her triad as she scolded Hugbell for every move she made.

"I wasn't, I was at the library reading, Maggie." Hugbell had replied back. "I suppose that's not something I'm suppose to do either."

The teen looked horrified as her past self spoke back in a tone that sounded just as condescending and well the fact of the matter was that nothing here was happy. Well dismissing the fact that the parade itself was full of cheer and happiness. Hugbell couldn't help but be alarmed.

The scene slowly faded away as the pair received the visitors both with a tension about them. Hugbell frowned as she walked the area, was this why things felt so uncomfortable? It couldn't be just that could it? She entered the building which spoke volumes of control, strictness, and just plain out of the nature of what Hugbell thought comfort should be.

"Why is any of this here?" She asked shrinking back every time she ran into a stuffed animal with cotton spilled. Some beheaded others, seams ripped. It was worse than walking a battlefield back on earth. While blood washed away stuffing stayed. She'd occasionally catch glimpses of the animals walking around doing things. How though, remained a mystery.

"Do you mean to tell me that you refuse to learn your growth ceremony!?"

The voice screaming from the end of a hallway make Hugbell jump and she tried to suppress a startled screech. Running down to the end to bust into what could only be described as the most depressing class rooms she'd ever seen. There was one desk. Just one. Writing on a board that had faded over the millennia, still some was legible most took time and concentration to pull back from the depths of her mind.

"Rules to follow . . ."

Her nose scrunched. This, was not the world it was meant to be. She stood there as another vision came this time kids playing outside screaming, laughing. No rules as long as they didn't hurt each other. . . Free to find comfort however they pleased. Hugbell was worried, as she turned to the desk and the podium.

"I thought by now you understood. You cannot successfully pass the growth ceremony without proper training young lady. Do you not want to be a full fledged senshi. DO You not want to protect this homeworld with all your might. If not maybe we have the wrong child." The woman screeched.

"Maggie. Stop." Hugbell stood up as the chair clattered the floor. "It's not fair. I know all of this by heart. I do most of it on a weekly if not daily basis you're shoving information down my throat I already know. STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE PROTECTING ME."

Hugbell closed her eyes and hugged Barnaby tighter as the fight continued and left with Hugbell of the past storming out. It felt as if the tension and the fights had gone on longer than what she was seeing now. Perhaps this wasn't even the first time this had happened. Seeing this though, the chaos between her and another she couldn't stand it. Moving to follow where past hugbell had walked out. Though the vision was gone navigating the hallways from here seemed almost easy, like she'd walked this path a million times.

"I just, can't understand. If this is a place of comfort why is there so much discord?" She mused as she walked stopping at her old door. Decorated still brightly, not much sun reached directly into the hallway here so nothing had faded much. The pictures on the wall showed a few happy scenes, some with stuffed animals and others with children. One seemed slightly familiar though she couldn't place the name or face.

Inside the little room, it was brightly colored and almost happy. A small princess style bed and large paned windows stood there out looking a forest. Hugbell's brows knitted as she looked around. From here she also thought she saw the library that was mentioned and . . . what else was there?

The teen mentally named places as if she'd just walked to them yesterday, though occasionally there was some trouble producing the names of the buildings and who or what they'd belonged too. There was a place for open aired markets too. . .

"M-maybe we should check out the forest." She mused looking at the bear who had been sat on a desk not far from the window which she looked out of. "It seems like a place to start. Or. . . maybe the library? I'm not sure I can read the books though. . . ." She looked at Barnaby, "What should I do?"

The cloud cover had been building up since she'd arrived at the homeworld and explored. Now inside Hugbell could see how dark and ominous the clouds were. A small shiver ran down her spine before suddenly strikes of lightening and thunder clapped. "AHHH NO lets get out of here!" She grabbed Barnaby and focused on going home. To earth.

The teenager wasn't ready to face her home world alone. . .
