 Caprice was in a cell in a room in a research hospital. There were few forests inside of the city where the hospital but there were several wolf packs inside of one of the forest, one of which was Caprice's home where she lived until now. She was just discovered after her wolf pack abandoned her. She walked on all fours and acted like a wolf. She would growl and try to bite at anyone who tried to touch her. She managed to bite a few people and drew blood each time. Right now she had just eaten and was asleep but her body was on high alert. She was curled up in a ball under a blanket. Someone managed to take a stuffed ferret she loved to carry in her mouth that she was found with. She whimpered as she looked at the ferret on the table. She was sad without it and wanted it back. It was the reason she was acting out and biting everyone.

 John was not only one of the doctors looking over her and studying her, he was one of the ones she bit earlier that day. Unlike the other doctors though, he wasn't mad, for he had a feeling that she was acting up cause they took her toy. When the others left for a break he walked over to the table and picked up the ferret from the table and walked over to the cage she was in and then got on one knee next to it. "Hey there sweetie, I think you can have this back now." He then held it out to her and kept smiling as to show he meant her no harm. He was used to messing with animals that would attack him or try to hurt him, so she was no different in his mind for the time being.

Caprice looked at John before she got up, on all fours, and slowly came over taking her toy in her mouth and going back over to the blanket and laying down on it and curling up around the toy like she always did before they took it. She treated it like it was a real live puppy. She began to lick it's plush fur and groomed it like a wolf would it's pup and like her mother did. She looked up at the moonlit sky and went over to the window before she started to howl at the full moon. SHe was human but was unaware of it. Being raised by wolf changed her thinking. So she thought she was a wolf. She was taken from her 'family' and as a result, she started mothering her ferret toy like it was a wolf cub since she missed them very much. SHe was only 19 years old but no one knew her real birthday yet. Her parents were no where to be found and there were no records of her in the hospital they figured out she was born in. She whimpered as she went over to her ferret toy and nuzzled it sadly as she curled up with the toy between her arms and under her chin. Her eyes seemed so lonely and sad that she ah to stay inside all the time.

John looked at her when she did this and then tilted her head. He reached over to his notepad to write down about what she was doing. He found it surprising that she was acting so much like a wolf. Taking care of the toy like it was a real pup, howling at the moon, and even walking on all fours. He has never seen anything act like this before, it was something new to him. After a little bit he reached back to grab a thing of meat they had set out for her and then placed it in a tray. He placed it on tray and then put it in the slot that was in the cage. "Here you go sweetie, you have got to be hungry after such a... long day."

Caprice tilted her head before she started to eat the meat, taking it in her mouth and taking it over to her blanket and curling up and started eating it like a wolf would. She used her hands to hold the meat like a wolf would before she started to rip into it. She wasn't sure why they cooked the meat since she had eaten raw meat most of her life. But she loved the way they cooked the meat here. When she finished, she looked up at John. Her dual color eyes were sort of lonely. She whimpered at him hoping that John would let her go.

John smiled as he watched her eat and then started to write down some more notes about her eating habits. Once she was done he caught her eyes with his, and when he saw the loneliness in them he felt so bad. John knew that if he let her go that he could get in trouble, but he could watch her like this anymore. He then sighed as he got down on one knee next to the cage and placed his hand on on the side of it. "Listen, if you can understand me, just nod your head okay?"

Caprice being her stubborn self growled at John before she bit his finger, drawing blood, when he placed it on the side of the cage she was in before she backed up growling as the blood from his finger was on her mouth.

John jumped when she did that and pulled his hand back before looking down at it. She really did a number on his hand like last time, but nothing a little disinfected and a bandage wouldn't fix. He walked over to his desk and started to do this as he then looked over to her. "You know, just because I am dressed like one of them doesn't make me a bad guy." He then walked back over to the cage and looked down at her. "I was planning on helping you, and still am... but I don't even know if you can understand me so I might just be wasting my time with saying all this." He then walked back over to his desk to work on some of his notes before he did anything.

Caprice just looked at him when he said he wanted to help her. She tilted her head making a face that meant she was confused. She obviously understood what he was saying but she didn't know how to respond since she had been raised by wolves her whole life. Then she barked at the window a bit looking sad as she looked up at the moon. All she wanted was to go home and be with her family. A tear went down her cheek as she sat there thinking about her brother and sister who really looked up to her.

John sighed as he looked over to her and then went back over to his station. After he did he looked around a bit before he looked back at his lap top. What most people didn't know about John is that he was a master hacker. He sat there in his chair while he was getting into the building systems with ease. After a little bit he finished getting into the system he was looking for the cameras for the building along with the lights. Once he found them he smiled as he then was able to get everything to turn off for five minutes or so, just to make it look like a black out. He walked over to the cage and then slowly opened it. "Come on." He then walked over to the window and opened that as well. "Jump to that tree, and you can get out of here." After I said that I looked at you with a smile and waited to see what you would do."

Caprice ran for the window before she stopped and looked at John. She felt bad for leaving but knew that if they were caught John wouldn't be around anymore. She looked at him before she came up to him and nuzzled his leg wanting to be with him but she also wanted to go home. She barked wanting him to go with her.

John looked down at her when she did that and then reached down to pat her head gently. "Sweetie, I can't go with you... if I go they will know that I let you out." He then looked around before looking back at her as he patted her head again. "Tell you what though, I will come and visit you okay?" After he said that he looked back to the timer on his lap top and then looked back to her. "You need to get out of here before the power comes on out?" John smiled as he then patted her head again and then handed her the stuffed animal. "Oh, don't forget this." He said with a smile on his face.

Caprice whimpered taking her toy and going out the window. She cried as she ran towards the forest. A few days went by and Caprice was lonely as she couldn't find her pack. She howled for them but to no avail. She was hurt too. She was on her way back to John's department when she passed out from being sick with a high fever and her leg was wrapped with an old cloth. She was shivering as she lay there wanting John to help her. Her vision was really blurry as she laid there hugging her ferret toy close for warmth, whimpering in pain.

John wasn't able to make it out to her for the next few days for he did have to cover his tracks from his work. But once he was able to make it out he came just in time to fin her on the ground. "Oh my god, sweetie." He got down on one knee next to her and picked her up gently. "You are coming home with me." After he said that he walked with her and her ferret back to his car. Once there and in the car, he drove her to his home and took her inside to lay her on his bed. After he did that he looked her over and could tell that she was not only sick, but her leg was hurt. He walked off to his bathroom and came back with new bandages and disinfected stuff. After he got her leg all better, he held out a spoon with some medicine on it. "Here sweetie, take this and you will start feeling better."

Caprice whimpered as he disinfected the wound. Her leg was really sore but it felt better once it was disinfected and wrapped. When he held a spoon with medicine up to her mouth, Caprice took it and swallowed it but it didn't taste good. She ignored it though. SHe started to feel a little better but she would need time to rest and recover. She opened her eyes as she laid in John's bed. She looked at him and cooed a bit as if to say thank you. She reached for his hand wanting him to be next to her.
