 Grywin moved in on the cursed camp once again. He had experienced better results here than he had out on the battlefield. Though all his opponents had been tough, he wasn't gonna let thoughts of doubt cloud his cunning mind. He had chosen to be a warrior and he was going to do whatever it took to succeed as one. Nearing the outskirts of the camp the sight of his natural opposite a cursed general, caught his eye. His visor glinted and his lips curled up in a sly grin. This would be a wonderful test of his battle skills. He swooped in fast and aimed a sharp left hook for the general's head. HP: 30

 Mariemaia had only been in one fight so far, and as it was, she was expecting her next one to be something similar; a small, timid thing seeking to make a name for itself. Her surprise was complete as she received a stunning blow that sent her reeling, her blue eyes alighting on her attacker and widening in surprise as she saw another general there. "Well...." she mused aloud. "This should be interesting." Raising her clawed hand, she charged headlong at the other, intending to swipe across the other's chest. HP: 26

Grywin smiled at her words, their thoughts on similar trains. "Indeed" He responded softly to her musings. He pulled away from her claws, but not nearly fast enough. They tore through his shirt and dug harshly into his chest. A hiss of pain slipped from his lips but he was not distracted by it as he whipped out his long metal staff and swung it hard for the general. HP: 27

Mariemaia raised nonexistent eyebrows as the other pulled the staff out. "How.....quaint." She dodged the worst of the swing, earning only a glancing blow on one shoulder. Reaching within the folds of her robe, she pulled out an evil looking serrated blade that had caught her eye in the Warrior's barracks; no time like the present to test it out. Hefting it with her strong arm, she aimed a long swing at the other's staff arm. HP: 25

Grywin's lips turned into a light frown. Quaint? He thought slightly irritated by her. Causing him to be distracted he was slow to react and took the serrated blade deep in his arm. He grunted and gritted his teeth as he swiftly pulled away from her weapon. He swapped the staff to his feathered hand and narrowed his eyes behind his visor. This was far from over. He moved in, swinging the staff sharply for her side. HP: 24

It certainly seemed to Mariemaia that she had found a weapon that suited her. She smiled evilly as she saw her weapon make its mark. She noticed the staff coming in close and twisted to the side, receiving a smart smack on the side. She bit back the urge to sweetly ask if the other wanted to borrow her weapon for the next attack; instead she let her blade speak for her with a horizontal slash to her opponent's side. HP: 24

Grywin grunted in pain as her sword tore into his side. Setting his jaw his lips turned into a passive line and he let his mental gears turn while he thrust the staff forward to jab into her gut. HP: 20

The sudden thrust of the staff caught her by surprise, and Mariemaia had no time to deflect it as it came through the air and slammed into her middle, causing her to almost bend in half like a crumpled piece of murderous confetti. Had she the breath, she would have managed a 'why you!', but all that she could manage with half of her breath was a wordless snarl. Fighting to regain her focus, she thrust her sword outwards and tried to impale the upstart on the edge of her weapon. HP: 20

Grywin didn't get swept away by the sucess of one hit. He kept a level head and pulled back away from the serrated weapon. But it was not enough to keep it from biting harshly into his stomach and causing blood to blossom forth. He gritted his teeth, trying to put the pain in the back of his mind. Twisting he pulled himself from her weapon and he thrust he staff upwards for her chin. HP: 17

Mariemaia was happy to pull back her weapon after seeing it leave its mark, ready for the next surprise her foe had in store for her. The staff came rushing in and smacked her in the chin, not enough to blacken her vision but enough to daze her for a few moments. Angrily she retaliated by slashing out at her opponent's uncovered arm. HP: 18

Grywin moved to the side, takeing a glancing blow to his arm. Bringing his staff around he swung it sharply for the side of her head. HP: 16

Mariemaia noticed the staff incoming and tried to duck and let it pass over her head, a bit too slow to miss it entirely as it clipped her horn painfully. Already down low, she used the chance to slash out just below the other's midriff. HP: 17 ((Uh-oh; the 1 demon is back! gonk ))

Grywin made a 'gwak' sound and spit up blood as her blade tore viciously into him. Gritting his bloodied teeth he brought up his elbow and aimed to crack it down on her head. HP: 12

The fight was definitely getting more intense, she could feel it singing through her blood; even the sprinkles of it on the ground seemed to be giving voice to the moment. The world briefly exploded as the elbow came crashing down upon her head, and she spat out a mouthful of her own blood from a bitten tongue. Snarling in return, she hefted her sword in one hand and brought her claws about in an attempt at a vicious swipe to the eyes. HP: 14

Grywin backed away, tilting his head to avoid her claws. They still cut into his cheek before glancing off the side of his visor. His lips a narrow line he spun around and aimed to thwack her good with his metal staff. HP: 10
