Welcome to the sands and pyramids of Egypt, a land filled with mystery and treasures that both Archaeologists and Treasure Hunters flock to. When an underground tomb is found, with the sarcophagus of a Pharaoh inside, a team of Archaeologists are called in to examine the remains and place a date on the unnamed King of Egypt. While excavating the sight, the Pharaoh emerges from his crypt looking for a stolen item of his which will help him travel to the Underworld; the Black Heart of Osiris. Without the amulet, he cannot be laid to rest. The item itself was stolen many years prior, and now both Archaeologists and Tomb Raiders have to team together to find it or Pharaoh Hamadi will use his undead army to take back Egypt and force the world to its knees under his will.

River never trusts people who are truly villainous or are up to no good, so if his dog doesn't like someone, Conner doesn't either. He used to date Faye but the two split when she went towards Treasure Hunting and she joined up with Xavier, his rival as an Archaeologist.

Bio: Lillian is an Egyptian-British girl who grew up with her single British father in London after her mother, Eshe, died in childbirth. She always wanted to visit her mother's home country and delved in it's history from a young age. When she first heard about the treasures hidden beneath the golden sand, she knew she wanted to find them and bring them for the world to see. She has never been swayed to switch to the darker side of archaeology, like Xavier, and has always had a desire to inform the world of what is hiding just out of reach.
Special Talents: She is highly skilled in deciphering riddles. This comes in handy when most of the clues to finding the Black Heart of Orisis rely on hard-to-crack riddles to uncover it's location. Her skill in riddle solving comes from her father, who used to teach her riddles as a child.

Xavier is a top-notch German/American Archaeologist...turned Tomb Raider for a bigger pay rise. No one ever understood his potential to be great, so he used his potential to steal treasures and sell them to the bigger payers for better cash in his pocket. He's not a black-hearted thief, but a desperate man trying to make it in the world when no ones takes him seriously. He's close to all his fellow Raiders, and makes sure they always win in the end. Coincidentally, Conner is his ex-best friend, whom he left behind to pursue bigger paychecks. Faye also used to be Conner's girlfriend but they broke up when she became a Tomb Raider/Treasure Hunter with Xavier. Initially untrusting towards the other Archaeologists, he still gives them a chance in the end to put Hamadi back in his crypt for good.

Faye is a street-kid, growing up mostly on the streets because her family life was horrible and no one else accepted her. Thieving was easy for her, but it would only do so good. She knew a lot more than most, as she had a lot of knowledge in History and Mathematics and Science. She actually started to turn her life around when she had moved to Australia and met Conner, who she dated for a while. However, Xavier turned to the dark side and offered her a share in what he took. Her darker past took hold and she followed the Archaeologist-turned-Tomb Raider. Faye brings a lot more to the table than good looks and past experience in thieving, having more intelligence than people give her credit for.

Bio:
Hamadi was a very strict and powerful Pharaoh, and ruled Egypt for many years. He prevented several wars from plaguing his lands, and kept everything in check, despite being seen as a horrible man. Eventually the people accepted him, though sometimes cruel, he did the best for Egypt. When he died, he was buried with the Black Heart of Osiris, a black Opal medallion to send him to the Underworld in peace. But it was stolen, and he's been brought back to retrieve it; killing all in his way to find it.

Bio: Nuru was a High Priestess in Egypt when Hamadi was Pharaoh. Her powers were unrivalled and many said she was a demigod, a child of Isis whom she spoke for. She was given gold and treasures beyond imagination. Hamadi even chose her as his personal Priestess in his time of ruling and she aided him well. She prophesised many great trials Egypt would face and allowed Hamadi to overcome them with ease. Her magic was used to sway battles to Egypt's favor and she was an expert healer. She also crafted the Black Heart of Osiris while Hamadi was on his death-bed, foreseeing someone stealing the Book of the Dead from his crypt. As it happened, the Book was stolen but with the Heart he was able to rest peacefully in the Underworld. However, in modern times, someone stole the Heart and now Hamadi has come back to life to reclaim it. He resurrected her to make sure he gets his way, but she has no real control over herself this time. She is merely a puppet.
