"The following contest is a Close Quarters Match and is scheduled for one fall! In this contest, both competitors will be bound by at the wrist by a 15-foot chain! Introducing first..."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 26, 2014 6:08 pm

As he put the finishing touches on his entrance attire, J.W. Caliber could be seen pacing back and forth by the steps leading up to the gorilla position, getting himself psyched up for his next match. He took a slug of liquid courage from a flask in his back pocket just before tying his bandana in place, slipping on his sunglasses and climbing the steps. Country versus Rock 'n' Roll...Cowboy versus Vampire...CHAMPION VERSUS CHAMPION!, Caliber thought, looking down at the Crimson City championship belt strapped around his waist. This ought to be good! "Git 'er done!" the Texan muttered to nobody in particular as the opening notes of the country-western inspired intro to Volbeat's 7 Shots rang out over the arena sound system.

Stepping out through the curtain, the South Texas Stallion lowered his head and took a deep breath before thrusting his index fingers skyward, duster coat shifting to either side, revealing the Crimson City championship belt wrapped around his waist as he threw his head back and let out a loud Rebel Yell. "C'MON PEOPLE! MAKE SOME NOISE!!! Caliber shouted, as he crossed from one side of the stage to the other, getting a good pop that was continuing to grow more raucous by the week, before starting down the ramp and high-fiving fans on either side of the entrance way.

DOWN ON HIS KNEES, HE SEES THE DEVIL WEEPING, WHINGING HIS TONGUE
MR. CADILLAC DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HE'S BEEN FIGHTING HIS OWN
HE'S BEEN TRYING SHOOTING ALL THE ANGEL DEVILS INSIDE
PLAYING AROUND WITH THE GOOD AND THE EVIL IN HIS MIND
ALONE IN THE DESERT AND COLD...SO COLD

"Introducing first...weighing in at 235 pounds, from The Big River Valley of Deep Down Dirty South Texas...the BBW Crimson City Champion...he is the South Texas Stallion...J.W Caliber!"

As he reached the bottom of the ramp, J.W. broke into a sprint and slid underneath the bottom rope, quickly popping back up to his feet, unfastening the belt and scaling the turnbuckles as he held the gold high for all to see, just as the steel guitar began to wail. As he pulled the bandana from his face, Caliber broke from his usual tradition of tossing it into the crowd before hopping down from the turnbuckle (as he already had a special recipient for it in mind, who should be arriving shortly), sticking the cloth into his hip pocket for the time being, before proceeding to remove his sunglasses and black Stetson, handing them over to the stagehand at ringside with his shirt and duster coat following right after.

[ Personal Jesus - Marilyn Manson ]

As the music began to play, Dallas Cruz waltz out onto the stage, wearing a mostly casual attire consisting of a pair of tight black bottoms, a black leather jacket (which was most likely a gift from her brother) and a...very lowcut, revealing lace top that showed off her 'assets'. In her hand, she carried a velvet drawstring bag, to which she opened and reached in as she came to a stop at the center of the stage, walking back and forth, pausing and turning every now and then so the crowd could get a good look at her. A large majority of them whistled, cheered and hollered in approval of the enigmatic Voodoo Queen. The audience watched as she pulled out a handful of red powder and allowed the dust to slip from her fist, forming a circle onto the stage. To the surprise of many, as Dallas took a few steps back, the circle began to sizzle and smoke began to rise from the ground where the powder seemed to be having some sort of reaction.

'Reach out and touch faith!'

When the lyrics were said, Dallas raised a hand and snapped her fingers. As soon as she did this, there was an loud, popping noise that practically shook the entire stage. The circle burst into flames, abnormally deep red in color, that grew tall, much taller than Dallas who stood off to the side of the circle, a smirk plastered on her lips. The flames then shrank down to reveal Marshall Lee standing within the circle, completely unharmed by the strange colored fire that was summoned by his sister. There was something different about him though. If one could only put there finger on it...

Oh yeah, it was that pretty title strapped around his gorgeous waist. The very one he won at Solar Slam.

Marshall smirked over at Dallas, to which the Voodoo Queen returned with a smirk of her own, before the duo looked behind them at the curtain leading to the backstage area. As if on cue, out came out the massive brute of Leroy Brown, looking as serious as ever, never really being impressed with the Cruz's theatrics. He stood by the duo, with his arms crossed over his chest. Dallas placed a hand on his shoulder and leaned in to whisper something into his ear, gesturing over to her cocky brother who smirked back at them. Leroy glanced at him, looked back to Dallas and could be seen mouthing "Are you serious?" to which the Voodoo Queen simply nodded with that charming smile of hers.

Leroy sighed, wondering why he was stuck dealing with these two nutjobs, but did what she requested none the less. The larger man moved in front of Marshall, giving him his back and squatted down, allowing the vampire to crawl onto his shoulders and sure enough, Leroy was now allowing the champion to ride on his shoulders, all the way down the ramp. As Marshall showboated, calling out various taunts and arrogance laced words to the crowd, he patted the title on his waist and turned to glance at Dallas, who was walking along side them, briefly. Guess her weird a** ritual really did work, though he was convinced it was all his own doing.

"Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Dallas Cruz and Leroy Brown, from Corpus Christi, Texas, weighing in at 229lbs, your new BBW TV Champion...Marshall Lee!"

Once they reached the ring, Marshall hopped off of his partner's shoulders and up onto the apron before doing a little showboating while Dallas climbed up onto the steps, joining him up on the ring apron. He sat on the ropes to let her in, to which she repayed the favor by doing the same for him. As the siblings entered the ring, Leroy made his way around the ring, interacting with the fans by bullying and taunting them.

While Marshall moved around the ring, showing off to all sides of the crowd, Dallas remained by the ropes, watching her brother's antics with an amused smile. Marshall clapped the ref on the shoulder in friendly manner, before moving over to stand near his sister, reaching behind him to unstrap the title to further flaunt it out to the crowd. He could be seen muttering to Dallas, to which she only nodded and muttered something back to him. What they were saying was unknown, but judging by the smirks on their faces, it seemed they might have some tricks up their sleeves. While Marshall was busy showing off for the crowd, and Leroy climbing up onto the apron as well, but choosing to stay on the outside of the ring at their corner, could be heard mouthing off to Marshall, telling him to quit acting a fool and get serious for once. While this happened, Dallas kept to their corner, eyeing her brother's opponent with a rather interested look on her face. Truth be told...she really did like cowboys.

Marshall, while in the middle of his theatrics, turned to his sister, seeing her looking at his opponent rather than pretty much anywhere else. He wasn't liking this. His eyes fell downward a little, then right back up to her face, with a look of disappointment on his, "Seriously? You couldn't have worn a different shirt?"

While his opponent was busy making an a** of himself during his entrance, J. W. couldn't take his eyes off of Marshall's sister, with whom he had been more than a little flirtatious with recently, and her particularly revealing attire.

Yowza!

The cowboy was so smitten by the voodoo queen, in fact, that he nearly forgotten that he was about to go to Fist City with her brother in a matter of moments.

With the Crimson City belt draped over his shoulder, Caliber extracted the cloth that he'd tucked away in his pocket and made his way toward Dallas with a devil-may-care grin across his face. "For you, darlin'", the cowboy said, as he presented her with his bandana, which happened to be one of his favorite ones from his personal collection, as a small token of affection seeing as how he didn't exactly have any flowers handy.

Leroy randomly entered the ring at the last second and chose to place himself right smack dab between J.W. and Dallas for no apparent reason other than to act like a bouncer for the new TV Champion and his innocent, darling sister. "Back up buddy, we know your games." Leroy threatened as he pointed to the other side of the ring.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 29, 2014 7:31 pm

Dallas tossed the cowboy a flirty smirk and battled her long eyelashes at J.W while taking the bandanna. How charming of him. "Aren't you a gentleman?" she cooed while holding the piece of cloth. However, this little display of flirtation did not suit right with her overprotective brother nor did it suit well with Leroy, from what it seemed. She was practically pushed back up against the ropes while the brute of a man put himself between her and the handsome cowboy. Marshall, too, was quick to voice his disapproval with the flirtation. "Hey, hey, hey, I got this, he reassured Leroy, turning to face J.W, saying the exact same thing Leroy had said "Hey, man....back up." What a great help he was. Dallas, however, was not very amused at their antics. While she did appreciate the concern...she didn't really appreciate them pretty much cockblocking her.

Caliber, likewise, was not particularly amused by the sudden, unwanted interference in his business by Marshall and his lackey. Of course, he had enough control of his temper to restrain himself from doing anything rash while the odds were still two against one. All bets on the South Texas Stallion's continued civility would be off once the bell sounded, but he did back up, shooting a wink toward Dallas and mouthing "Call me!" as he did.

Stopping in the middle of the ring, the Crimson City champion handed his gold over to the referee while he waited for the chain to be secured that would bind him to his opponent in this non-title contest.

Marshall grumbled as the cowboy did indeed back off, but still shot his charms at his innocent, baby sister. He quickly shoo'd her out of the ring, patting Leroy on the shoulder as well to instruct him to exit along with her. As Dallas slipped out from the ropes, she tucked the bandanna into the hem of pants, right by her hip while giving J.W a smile.

"Ugh," sneered Marshall, with a roll of his eyes, turning his attention back to what was going on inside the ring. He would remove his title, give it a loving kiss...as he admired his reflection in the metallic plate before handing the title over to the ref. He was to be tied with the chain, which would be tied to his opponent as well. "That ain't silver, ain't it?" he asked as one end was secured to him, to which the ref simply shook his head as an answer and motioned for him to let him do his job.

Now that both competitors were bound at the wrist, and those who had no business being in the ring were now back out where they belong, the bell sounded and the match was underway.

Seeing as how both men were evenly matched, at least on paper, anyway, Caliber felt it wise to test the waters as he attempted to lock up with the slightly taller TV champion.

Marshall has definitely been tied up before, but never while in the ring, let alone to another man. Feeling the weight of the chain and the fact that he wouldn't be able to get a good distance from his opponent was, without a doubt, going to hinder his performance some. None the less, he was here to put on a show, and that's exactly what he's going to do.

The vampire watched as the cowboy went to start things off with a lock up, to which Marshall went on ahead to accept, where he would begin to apply his strength into the hold and would try to switch into a side headlock, a classic move.

While Caliber and Marshall had similar ideas going in to the lock up, the vampire was a tad faster on the draw, and the cowboy ended up caught in a headlock. After a couple seconds, J. W. would attempt to jab his elbow into his opponent's ribcage in an effort to loosen the grip on his head. If he were successful, the South Texas Stallion would quickly pop his head loose and try to catch Marshall with an arm wringer.
PostPosted: Thu Sep 04, 2014 6:42 pm

Marshall grunted as the cowboy's elbow was roughly prodded into his side, causing Marshall to release the grip on him and bring his hands to the tender spot by his ribcage. However, the ever so quick J.W would then grab at Marshall's arm and twist, locking him into an arm wringer. Marshall hissed in discomfort, feeling the tension at his shoulder. He needed to get out of this, and quick before is arm was popped out of it's socket. Being the athletic being that he was, Marshall would try to perform a standing front flip to untwist his arm, then would attempt to counter with an arm wringer of his own.

Caliber would have to give Marshall props for his display of athleticism as he reversed the arm wringer. Of course, the Dirty South Outlaw was something of a showman, and would look to match the maneuver as he attempted to relieve the torque on his shoulder. If successful, J. W. would promptly try to send the TV champion to the mat by way of an arm drag takedown.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 07, 2014 12:46 am

Marshall was quite surprised Caliber managed to get out of his hold. He was even more surprised when he managed to successfully bring down the champ with his arm drag take down. "Oooh shiit," could be heard from the TV champ on his way down, rousing some chuckles from the audience. Marshall hit the mat, letting out a rather loud grunt as he hit the canvas. Dallas leaned against the apron, watching intently, waiting to see what happened next and what her brother was going to do about it, as so did Leroy, who kept his position a few feet behind her, arms crossed and a look of seriousness across his face.

After hitting the arm drag, the Crimson City champion would need to take a second to untangle himself from the chain, but J. W. quickly returned to his feet afterward. "That all ya got, champ?", Caliber asked in a mildly teasing fashion, loudly enough for those at ringside and those watching at home to hear.
