Name: Hennory
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexual Preference: Hetero
Rank: Bluerider
Former Craft: Holder Boy
Personality: Hennory has learned to be cordial and proper, and is rather good at hiding his personal feelings. He speaks easily to others in a manner that would be cold compared to those who speak with more heart.

He is a creature of great discipline. He does not listen to others for fear of getting in trouble, or to please; he does it because of his sense of duty to his family, and himself. It is perhaps the only way he tolerates being treated as a pet by his adopted mother. After all, he owes her everything. Without her, he may have ended up in the creches with all the other unclaimed brats, looked over by a perhaps caring, but inherently busy foster mother.

One thing that he is always concerned with is being true to himself, at least in spirit when he cannot be true to his own desires and wishes. Laying alone at night is when he has his most cerebral moments, often wondering just what sort of person he'd be under different circumstances. If he'd been neglected, or perhaps poor, would he have become a thief? A lazy person? Or was there a certain level of altruism to himself that would win out over any situation?

Especially at the age he is, he wants to find himself. He loves to dance, but dancing does not help others in the way he wants to. Hennory wouldn't dare whisper this to even his brother, but at times he feels he is leading a useless life, one where he leeches off of the wealth of his family, yet not eligible to rule and therefore unable to give back. To make things worse, he's a touch old to take on a trade, as many people start apprenticeship at 11 to 12 turns of age.
Physical Description: He's an athletic person, a stark difference from his slightly rotund brother and stocky foster parents. Instead he's lean and tall, already six feet tall in his youth. He's also practically all legs, lending to his graceful appearance on the dance floor. His toes and fingers are long and spindly, and his feet are dextrous enough to hold a quill and write, albeit crudely. He has a long nose on a long face with thin red brows that arch expressively over his cold grey eyes. His skin is rosy and prone to burns, and already a small smattering of freckles graces his nose and shoulders even though he does not spend long in the sun. The shock of red hair on his head is shoulder length, almost always pulled back into a tail.
History: His mother was a harper, that much he knows. His father? Well, all that is known by anyone is that he was a dragon rider. Whoever it was, his mother never told anyone, and took it to her grave. She died when Hennory was quite young. In fact, he has no memory of her, the only mother he's ever known being the aunt of his mother and a Holder's wife. His adopted mother and father run a small minor hold along the coast, with a thriving business fishing off of Ista's coasts.

Though they are not Major holders, or really have much power in swaying their Lord Holder's decisions, Hogain and Jaine carry themselves with an air of pomp and importance that they don't quite have. They make a note to carry themselves with ranks above their station, and expect if of their children as well. Jaine had given Hogain a son before Hennory came along, who is in line to succeed his father. Perhaps that was why Hogain allowed his wife to adopt Hennory, because he was of no threat to the line of inheritance.

Hennory was very much Jaine's little doll. While her real son Hojan was her husband's project to groom to become the Holder after him, Hennory was hers to dress, primp and prime as her 'adorable son' she got to show off. All too often, he'd be on his adoptive mother's arm at parties, being cordial and charming to all her friends. His mother reveled in the attention. There was one thing being 'mother's boy' was good for, of course. It meant that he could indulge his own love for dancing without the intense scrutiny of his father, who though kind to him, often turned a blind eye to him in favor of his own blood.
Talents: Dancing, grace, writing with his toes.
