Haruffe stares at the card. "MANY PEOPLE WILL WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND!" He declares as he hands you a carnival ticket and a... delivery coupon? "THAT CANNOT BE USED NOW," he declares, gesturing to the take-out coupon, "BUT WILL BE USEFUL LATER ON. YOU WILL WANT TO HANG ONTO IT." You receive a carnival ticket and a bonus meal ticket! This meal ticket will be useful in an event later on; be sure to make a note that you have it somewhere!
The minotaur looks a little worried. "YOU STAY UP LATE PARTYING. HARUFFE WISHES HARUFFE COULD GO TO PARTY, BUT HARUFFE IS DOING HARUFFE'S PART BY TELLING FORTUNES. MAYBE YOU TAKE THIS AND STAY SAFE YES?" You receive a glowstick of your choice of color. And by "glowstick" it's a minotaur-sized glowstick that is approximately two feet long. It also comes with a carnival ticket stuck to the middle of it.
The minotaur beams at you. "YOU WILL EXPLODE INTO MANY LITTLE PIECES" He declares a little too proudly. "IT GOOD NEWS! MEANS YOU GO OUT WITH BIG BANG!" You win nothing.
"YOU SHOULD CONSIDER PLAYING WITH FIRE," Haruffe begins. "NO WAIT. FIRE SOMETIMES BAD. ARE YOU FLAMMABLE? IT OKAY! HARUFFE HAVE FIX." The minotaur proceeds to carefully hand you a minotaur-sized water balloon. Somehow, you're able to carry it. You now have a giant water balloon that can be thrown at just about anyone. Lucky you! And hey, it looks like there's even a carnival ticket floating around inside it! Double win!
The Great Haruffe appears to be checking his cheat sheet for tarot-fortune telling. With a jump that threatens to tip the tent over, the minotaur looks up at you bashfully. "HARUFFE FORGOT WHAT THAT CARD MEANS, BUT NEVER FEAR! HARUFFE MAKE IT MEAN SOMETHING GOOD." He then proceeds to hand you a ticket. You've won a carnival ticket!
The OOC NEW PROMOTION! When you and a friend come to get your fortune read by Haruffe, both of you will receive this booth's mini: the Soda Fortune Treat! In order to receive it, you need to do the following: 1) Find another player. 2) Make at least one post interacting with that other player. 3) Get your fortune read. 4) Remember to include your minis SN in the same post you had your fortune read in. 5) Profit! You can post the interaction-post before OR after receiving your fortune. An interaction post is a post where you're interacting with/talking to someone else. This post needs to be SEPARATE from the post you make when rolling for your fortune. Lock had to admit, he had always been a little superstitious of things like fortune telling and horrorscopes. He would never tell you so, and if you said so he would deny it later, but it was very much true.
So he snuck over to Madam(?) Haruffe and sat down, watching her(?) shuffle the cards with sparkly eyes.
When the card was finally flipped, Lock tilted his head, unsure of the results. "HARUFFE FORGOT WHAT THAT CARD MEANS, BUT NEVER FEAR! HARUFFE MAKE IT MEAN SOMETHING GOOD."
He smiled gently, somewhat charmed by Haruffe's strange behavior. "Um. Well thanks. I hope something good happens to you too."

He pauses, looking moody for a moment before he reaches down and picks up several bracelets and shaking them. "HARUFFE FORGOT TO JANGLE MANY BANGLES. HARUFFE SORRY, KNOWS LITTLE STUDENT MISSED OUT ON AUTHENTIC FORTUNE TELLING EXPERIENCE. BUT TELL FRIENDS AND HARUFFE WILL GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME, YES?"
Kaineferu Aureole enters with a wide-eyed excited look. "Oooo, fortune-telling."
Haruffe reached out and patted Aureole's shoulder comfortably with enough force to nearly knock Aureole over. "IT OKAY! HARUFFE LIKE PUZZLES. IF YOU IN PIECES HARUFFE WILL PUT YOU TOGETHER AGAIN."
Chrystali Adelaide paused next to Aureole, impressed. "Now this is a cool booth." When it was her turn, she pointed to the card she wanted, watching Haruffe expectantly. His answer made her laugh, spreading her arms out and curtsying to the great minotaur. "My gratitude! I will seek your wisdom out again~"
Haruffe beamed. "THANK YOU! HARUFFE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN."
Yayoi 4laugh Ah a fortune teller! Meixiang was hoping there would be one of those at the festival! She had always been very into this type of thing and honestly if she could afford it she'd go to one at least once a week to keep tabs on her star charts and all the fortunes she should have. She picked a card at the large, veiled Minotaur's behest. Of course it was way too big for her to carry. What she was handed next was a glow stick. A very...large glow stick. It was almost as tall as she was. Marushii I already maxed my raffle tickets so no need to confirm my win. <33
While the minotaur wasn't wearing a veil (a fact that would be rectified if someone pointed it out; for now visitors would have to deal with him in a very large I'm-really-trying-to-look-mysterious black cloak), he beamed widely at her. "HARUFFE THINKS BEST WAY TO MAKE IT GLOW IS TO HIT IT VERY HARD AGAINST THE GROUND. COULD HIT SOMEONE, BUT HARUFFE FORESEES BAD THINGS HAPPENING IF YOU DO THAT. HARUFFE DOES NOT RECOMMEND IT."
Steal After a long day and too much happening, Shiki realized the best thing to do would be to get his fortune told, it seemed harmless enough. He walked over to the table and sat down waiting to see what would happen. Shiki was not sure what to do with the giant glow stick when he got it, so he just shrugged and slung it over one shoulder like a sword. Ticket win. ^_^
Haruffe clapped his massive hands together, creating a loud BOOM reminiscent of a tiny thunderclap. "HARUFFE APPROVE! BUT HARUFFE IS NOW WONDERING IF GLOW STICK TOO TINY? MAYBE HARUFFE SHOULD BRING OUT THE JUMBO GLOW STICK BOX."

Lady in the Golden Wood Ryou approached the minotaur cautiously. Truth be told, he was quite terrified to get his fortune told. He was shaking a tad, "Errr...errrr...errr..." He picked up a random card and whoop, it was completely blank?
And that was the day that he realized that he had no future. o uo bMarushii no fortunes for 9 and 10? o Ao
Haruffe stared at the blank card. With a shrug, the minotaur picked it up and threw it over his shoulder. It tore a hole through the tent fabric and it would have created a dazzling shaft of light effect if Haruffe wasn't completely sitting in front of it. "HARUFFE THINK TINY SHAKEY SHOULD PICK AGAIN. HARUFFE WILL PRETEND PREVIOUS PICK NEVER HAPPENED."
HARUFFE SORRY HARUFFE WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION WHEN WRITING MECHANICS. HARUFFE DID MEAN TO HAVE 10 DIFFERENT CARDS AT ONE POINT, THEN HARUFFE LIKED THE NUMBER EIGHT MORE. HARUFFE THINKS IT OKAY TO PICK AGAIN. |
