Naomi sang softly a lullaby her mother used to sing to her as a child as she carefully lifted items from their shelves and ran a cloth across the smooth surfaces. Her battle with the dust was never ending, but she didn't mind too much. She liked taking care of the trinkets that would mean so much to someone who felt left behind. Finished with the urn in her hand, she turned her attention to wiping down the shelf. As she sang and worked, her mind turned to other simple things like her supplies and the things she would need to get to replenish them and what she might like for supper later in the day. She hoped she would be able to find some spices from her home. She was feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted to make some of her mother's traditional dishes, she decided.

Isidore found the house easily. Everything was much easier when you were a grown up. Distances were smaller and logic was greater. The trip to the market had always seemed like an adventure, now it was nothing but a short stroll from the Pantheon. Isidore continued on through it and to the new town that had been built. It seemed to be growing every time he visited. There were more occupied shops now, and stalls had popped up in the paved square. He walked with Scim following behind him straight up to a familiar shop. He pushed the door open and waited with a smile. Naomi was going to get quite the shock.

The light jingling of the bells on her door caused a warm smile to spread across her lips and she quickly put the urn back in its place. Leaving the rag on the shelf, she turned to see who had entered her shop and then blinked. The young man seemed familiar somehow, but she was uncertain how she knew him. "Hello," she greeted him and took a small step forward when she noticed the large black dog behind him. No... this couldn't possibly be the young god that had wandered into her shop not so very long ago... could it? "Isidore?" she questioned. "Is that really you?" she asked, her smile growing as recognition began to filter through her surprise.

Isidore was enjoying this game. It happened with everyone he had met in the past and then again in his new guise. There would be a moment where they looked at him, something familiar in the back of their mind, though they just could not place it. Then, slowly it would dawn on them and they would realise who he was, he would watch the shock on their faces with amusement as they tried to connect the adult before them with the child he had once been. "Yes, it's me. I grew." He smiled and looked around the familiar shop, nothing had changed in the months he had had not visited. "How have you been Naomi?"

Nao gave a little laugh at his simple, mature reply and shook her head. It seemed some things had not changed. He had had the curiosity of a child before, but always a rather mature handle on the world around him. This body suited that aged outlook better. Was it bad she that she couldn't help but notice how attractive he was now as well? Quickly brushing the dust from her hands and skirt, she smiled and glanced around her shop briefly. "I have been very well, thank you," she replied, turning her blue eyes back to him and taking him in once more. "Will it be like this every time I see you? You disappear for weeks on end with no word and then you appear at my door in a completely different skin?" she laughed and gestured for him to enter the shop fully and take a seat.

Isidore smirked at that and shrugged. "Perhaps once more, but not just yet." He replied and walked over to the seated area. He sat on one of the chairs and clicked his finger by the side to get Scim to lie down. The dog did as he was told, rather more obedient now his master was no longer a puppy himself. "How has business been?"

Nao turned to pour out some tea for them both as she listened to him and then went to join him at the seating area. "Steady," she replied as she bent a little to hand him one of the cups of tea. "But in a calmer sense. For a while there it seemed like there was an over abundance of death to work with. But things seem to be more normal now." Moving back, she took a seat and relaxed back into the plush chair. She hadn't realized that she had been up on her feet all day until just that moment. "How have you been? It must be a bit disconcerting to be grown up so suddenly."

"Good, that's good to hear. I'm glad that things finally seem to be getting back to some kind of normality." Though for how long? He thought to himself. There was always that threat hanging over them. The threat of another descent to madness. "It's a little strange, I'm still getting used to the difference, the responsibilities. Though my sisters have both grown too, so it feels as though everything is how it should be."

"You did not all grow at the same time?" Nao asked with amusement and curiosity. She wasn't entirely sure if he had said they were all the same age, but his comment certainly would lead one to believe they might be. "Are you still the god of funeral?" Probably an odd question to ask, but she knew little about deities other than the stories she had grown up with.

"No, Kyrie was first, then myself and then Caelia. It makes sense I suppose, we did not all hatch at the same time." Close but not exactly at the same time. "I am the God of Funerals, I might change in appearance but I will always be the god of the same domain. My power will grow as I do. I should be able to reach more people now that I am grown and I can start working on expanding the reaches of my realm. That's why I'm here actually."

Nao lifted her brows a little as he mentioned how they had come into this world. That in itself was intriguing but perhaps a discussion that could be saved for a later date. As he went on, she sipped her tea and nodded her understanding. Of course. That would make the most sense. "Really?" she asked. "You are thinking there is something that I can do to help you with that?" It seemed like a rather daunting task, one she was not entirely sure she was equipped to help him with in any shape or form.

"You're the only person I know that is in the business of death, so it seems like a good place to start." He picked up the cup of tea, it felt very warm on his cold skin. "I have great plans, huge plans really. I wish to build a Necropolis here, a city of death. I will need someone to train others in the way of preparing the dead. I will need other things too. Do you know any others?"

Nao breathed in deeply and cupped her tea between her hands in her lap. A city of death, she had never heard of such a thing. "I have a friend whose husband does most of the ceremonies for the people I serve. That is all that he does," she smiled a little. "But beyond them, my social life is lacking and I do not know many people beyond a professional sense. Most of the people I get to know are already gone," she smiled a little and felt a bit like a failure. She wanted to help him, she realized. She wanted to help him very much.

Isidore sipped his tea, it had a nice, smooth taste. His mother would like it he thought, she enjoyed different teas as much as he did. "Well that's not a problem. A start is a start. I haven't even begun the building of this funerary town yet. He wasn't even sure where he had gotten the idea really. It just made sense. One place that would serve all the cultures, from death to internment. "Would you be able to have a word with your friend? I need people who are familiar with different practices so they can teach others."

Nao smiled warmly and nodded. "I can certainly speak with her. I imagine he would be very happy to help," she smirked with a hint of wryness. Masaru was... different, to say the least. "I hope that there will be more that I can help you with," she offered and sat up a little straighter. "I don't know much about building a city, but I would like to help you where I can."
