Sometimes by losing a battle,
you find a new way to win the war...
═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam sprinted through the street and then cut in to an alleyway to try and get away from the crowded areas, he noticed a fire escape above him and he lunged against the wall running up it a little with great speed and strength and then he lunged up to grab on to the fire escape and began climbing up towards the roof.

Finding my way out of a nightmare, Fuku made her way into what seemed like town square. Looking around through the masses of people she tried to catch sight of anything that could have been Sam. Looking about once more she didn't seem to find him, "Sam!" She yelled pushing through people as she ran onward. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ◕ On the only way I can get there

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam was climbing the fire escape like an animal and a woman in one of the apartments with an open window saw him and she screamed but this didn't phase him, he continued to make his way to the rooftop and once up there he fell too his knees panting and then clenching a fist he slammed it into the rooftop causing it to crack around his fist a little, "Damn them... damn them all!" he muttered as he hit the roof again, damaging it more.

Finding my way out of a nightmare, Fuku turned her head hearing yelling. Looking over to a building he noticed someone on top of it. Maybe it was Sam? Running towards the building then up the flights of stairs til she reached the top. Opening the door the the roof she looked around for the person that had been on the roof top. Noticing Sam, she walked over to him, yet still keeping her distance in case he might lash out again. Lifting her hands in a defensive way, she looked at him, "Sam?..." She asked not nearing him and not moving. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ◕ On the only way I can get there

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam slowly looked up to see she had found him and he growled at her, beginning to look more like an animal than a person, his snarling and actions being animal like however still a mostly human body, "What do you want...!?" he snarled at her slowly getting to his feet staying hunched over while glaring at her.

She said stepping towards him with her arms still raised in a defensive manner, "I didn't mean to piss you off... I'm sorry..." She said stopping a few feet away from him. Lowering her arms for a moment she unsheathed her sword and sat it down by her foot then kicked it away, "I'm not going to do anything..." xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ◕ On the only way I can get there

Sam shouted as he stepped back towards the edge still growling at her as if she was some kind of dog catcher and he was the dog, he then looked over the edge and then back at her wondering what she was going to do next? shout at him? attack him?

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam's growling began to start calming down a little, "Why...? why are you even here...?" Sam said looking to her confused, she had done nothing but insult him and other bad things, it didn't make any sense to him and the confusion just made him angry.

Finding my way out of a nightmare, Fuku stepped towards him again, "If I knew how to explain that, then I would..." She said, "I didn't mean to piss you off so much..." She repeated once more, "I... Suppose... It's because I care." Closing one of her eyes in a sort of withdrawn way she looked at him, "And... I'm not sure....but..." She cut off then opened her other eye once more with her face slightly darkening with a blush, "Part of it may be the whole... Prince thing...." Sam said as he thought back to their conversation, "Wait... are you saying you have some sort of crush on me that you don't understand...?" Sam said rubbing his head trying to make sense of what she said.

Sometimes by losing a battle,

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam shook his head, turned his back to her and sat on the edge letting his feet hang off the edge, "Well... find someone else... i'm not what you're looking for..." Sam said as he didn't feel he could handle trusting anyone with that kinda connection, he was too damaged after years of being treated like s**t by his parents and that school and other gang members, he just couldn't see himself being that person and he was stuck in his stubborn lonely ways.
