Cerise Vs Breena (Winner Breena)

Since Breenas two combat encounters, she'd been bored. Being a Guardian wasn't a very glamorous job but..she figured she did it well. Curl up and watch the enemies so they didn't get past her. Breena gave a sigh and cupped her chin while peering out over the grounds. Her eyes closed as she started to drift off.

:: Flashes of silver in the dark, that was what she was right now... ducking through the battlefield on her way to the enemy encampment. She'd heard of the Son of Antarmur'ss being stolen and his retrieval had not yet been secured. She took it upon herself to try. If she found herself in the same position she would want others to try to save her as well. Her small feet slapping against the stone floor of the cavern, she did nothing to hide her approach, Breena would see her coming unless she'd dosed off. Cerise grasped the scythes with shortened handles off her back, one iron and one gold to her hands as she'd rush the creature... a banner of silver hair flying behind her as she'd leap into the air, her dress swirling about her as she'd lash out with gold then iron across the larger body of the corrupted. As soon as her feet touched ground again she'd spin away from the creature, deep blue eyes staring from a skull mask of black. ::

Well that would serve her right. Breena was shaken of of her doze by pain. "Ssssss?" She hissed as she leaned back an blinked at Cerise. "Hair..." She commented. it was the first thing she noticed about the other. Such long pretty hair. She stared at Cerise, then snapped her tail around to try and smack the other.

:: Her eyes would widen as she'd nearly touched her foot to the ground when that tail swept her back up again. She hadn't been quick enough and now she tumbled to the ground, the only thing saving her from more damage was that she was able to gain control of her movement. Rolling to her feet she'd spin in a flurry of silver and black, her scythes held at the ready before she'd spring at the corrupted again, slashing at her side and then her back as she'd try to maneuver her way round the beast. ::

My but the female was spritely and swift! Breena had to shake off her lazy dozey feeling as Cerise leapt towards her. In a series of unbelievable accuracy, Breena found her long body gain some seriously deep wounds. "Ah..." She growled while spinning about. her fingers flexed, then she slashed out at Cerise with her claw.

:: Cerise dodged the claw attack, dancing out of the way the best she could but still she'd gain some cuts on her side. Her blue eyes intent and somehow sad at the same time as she'd swing again at Breena with her golden scythe going high and her iron going low, leaping over her tail as she'd continue in her route of circling the creature and never staying still. ::

The female was...very good. Very swift. And so very infuriating. Breena gave a bird like hiss at the gray female as she partly coiled around herself in a ball. The two scyths had cut deeply into her, scraping against bone with both attacks. Breena flared her feathered arm at Cerise in the hopes of distracting her while she snapped the end of her tail at the girls ankles.

:: The wing did indeed distract her from the tail attack. She'd been dodging that when the tail tip swung about and knocked her flat on her back, knocking the wind out of her for a moment. With a gasp and a grunt she'd roll backwards and back up to her feet, Her body ached but she knew if she was still the more likely it was that the thing would crush her... Racing forward she'd swing the iron overhand and the gold she'd swipe at the side of the creature as she'd dash past. ::

"ow.." Breena gave a low moan of pain. Even when she tried to make hserlf a smaller target, this female succeeded in wrecking her with her attacks. Breena laid down on the ground and slithered cautiously after Cerise. All she could do right now was reach out to try and snatch the females hair in a pulling jerk.

:: It always seemed to come down to her hair, she'd been pulled up by it, flung by it.. The other was approaching her cautiously and Cerise was watching as she moved about, not wanting to get caught but the creature still managed to get hold of her hair somehow... She'd wince and then lash out with one scythe at the creature's shoulder and the other one she'd drive down towards her elbow as she'd jerk her head back and away from those grasping fingers. ::

Even being cautious meant nothing. Breena was too slow to avoid the devastating attack of the scythe. Breena's arm went numb as it cut to the bone. Her other arm was cut to the bone as well, and her feathery hand spazzed. With Cerise so close, Breena lunged forwards to try and bite the annoying creature.

:: Cerise weaved to the side, feeling as the others beak snapped into her hair and tore it out by the root. It wasn't enough to slow her down though, her iron scythe angled for the Corrupted's upper chest and the gold she'd slam towards her belly as she'd flip her hair over her shoulder with a toss of her head to get it out of the way of the biting creature. ::

She didn't want to get up. She wanted to lay down and bleed on the ground. Breena wriggled weakly, but still got slashed by the scythes. With a whimper of pain she flopped down on the ground to protect her belly, and she snapped her tail at Cerise as the only form of attack she could muster now.

:: The tail lash knocked her for a loop, but she did get up... breathing a bit raggedly now she'd set her eyes on the Corrupted, lying there now crippled.. Taking a few steps back, she'd eyes the creature with her deep blue eyes, then dart towards her again, even lying down as she was, she was larger than Cerise... she'd slash out with gold along her side and go for her snapping tail with the iron. ::

"Blauuuuuh." Breena moaned in pain. When Cerise attempted to slash her again, she rolled three times to the left, and made a little swipe of her tail at the gray girl again. "Go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay." She whined in pain.
