Sometimes by losing a battle,
you find a new way to win the war...
═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam walked along in the courtyard with his hands in his pockets, he was exploring the school grounds before he thought he would go to his dorm, mainly because he didn't know how to get to his dorm, he came to a stop and scratched the top of his head thinking, should he go left...? go right...? head straight in to the building? he just shook his head and let out a groan, "Damn it why didn't they give us a map..."

Straight/17/American/ SingleKali slowly walks into the courtyard, face planted inside of her schedule, "Maybe the Library is over here....and the cafeteria over here...." she mumbles to herself. She finally looks up from the schedule, looking around and seeing a boy around her age. She analyzed his look and noticed he looked a bit confused. Does he need help? she thinks to herself, deciding to walk over to the boy. "E-Excuse me? Are you lost?" she asks him. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━╯

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam turned his head to see a girl a girl talking to him, where the hell did she come from? he didn't even see her at all, she was like a ninja. Sam folded his arms and nodded, "Yeah... apparently I am" Sam said looking around them before turning his gaze back to her, "I didn't get directions or even a map... I probably should have asked the principle when I was speaking to him a few minutes ago" Sam said with a sigh as he rubbed the back of his head with his eyes closed and then he opened one to look at the girl again, she looked around the same age as him although the headmaster looked young so appearance was not something to go on at this school, "Why are you?"

Straight/17/American/ SingleKali smiles at him and chuckles a bit, "I wouldn't say I'm lost, I just don't know where much is. The only thing I've found so far is the dorms..." She says looking back in the direction from where she came. Looking back to the boy, she smiles again. "You spoke to the headmaster? I think I saw him on my way in but I didn't really say anything to him..."╰━━━━━━━━━━━╯

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam raised an eyebrow as she chuckled, what was funny? did he say something funny or was she fake laughing to break some kind of tension? "I haven't even found the dorms yet and yeah... short guy kept calling me kid and boy... a**..." he said grunting as he brought his hands down in to his pockets as he let out another yawn before looking the girl up and down wondering why she had came to talk to him anyway, "Anyway... do you need something?" Sam asked as he wanted to know why she had came to him.

Straight/17/American/ SingleKali frowns a bit, "I was just wondering if you needed help finding anything..." her personality shrinks as she feels as though she bothered him. "I'll just..leave you alone I guess." she says, turning around and walking away from him. He sounded kind of mean, she didn't particularly want to anger him any. She looks around the courtyard, trying to locate a bench to sit on. Spotting one, she walks over to it and reaches into her pocket to pull out an mp3 player before she finally sits down. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━╯

Sam thought as he walked over to the girl and let out a sigh, "You leave before I can even answer to your offer to help me find my way around?" Sam said as he waved his hand in front of his face dismissively, "That's just getting someones hopes up then kicking dust in their face right there..." Sam said as he folded his arms and looked to Kali, "If you can show me around then..." he said looking away from her, "i'd owe you one..."

Straight/17/American/ SingleKali looks up at him, "I wasn't trying to seem rude, I just didn't want to bother you." Kali reaches into her pocket, placing her mp3 player back inside as well as the headphones. She holds out her dainty hand to the boy, "I'm Kali, I wouldn't mind showing you what I've found so far." Looking towards the direction of the dorm she decides that's where she should take him first. I'm sure he has some things he'd like to put down╰━━━━━━━━━━━╯

═══════════════════════════════════════ Sam looked to her hand and gently took it to shake then nodded, "I'm Sam and every little helps" he said as he then let go of her hand and placed his hands in to his pockets, wondering where she was going to take him first, perhaps the cafeteria for food? the dorms so he could put away his things or maybe the library... agh... books... he didn't like studying at all.

Dorm A2" he said as he slipped the paper back in to his pocket and fixed the bag on his bag, he assumed due to that question that's where she planned on leading him, that was a good idea then so he could drop off his stuff and walk around with more ease, plus he may run in to his roommate which he hoped to god wasn't some rich kid trying to rough it with the lower class.

 Drake ☠ Andrew height: 6'7 ==== Age: 17 █ █ █ █ █ █ • xxxx • █ █ █ █ █ █ Drake walked down the path way towards the bulding, though this was his first day he was already planning on not doing anything the only reason he was even here was because of his boxing skills nothing more, he was just glad to be out of the hell hole he was last in. This place exceeded his expectations by a whole mile, it was huge and beautiful. As Drake walked he saw a bench by a tree and sat down with his arms up on the back of the bench in a very relaxed position stretching his legs out on the sidewalk. Though it looked a bit awkward since he's so tall but he didn't care 'Oh how it feels good to be out of that hell and be here' he thought as he breathed out. █ █ █ █ █ █ • xxxx • █ █ █ █ █ █
