"Origami Flurry!" Mintaka cried out as the attack started it's snowy flurry of paper shapes on the Youma, trapping it with it's heavy fall and giving her enough to throw a shattering punch to it's face, dissipating it back to Chaos.
Her breath caught as she waited for the paper shapes to stop falling, looking around the abandoned parking lot and double checking that nothing had seen her.
Wouldn't want civilians freaking out with her summoning 500 shapes of paper out of no where. When no one was spotted, she took a seat and just...breathed. Youma hunting tonight had been a nightmare all by it's own, just a few minutes to rest and then she could set up her usual tea spot and relax for the rest of her powered night.
She sighed wistfully, she should do that. Soon. Eventually.xxxKyuseisha no Hikari I put this in the wrong forum >_>

Goretti wasn't supposed to be out this late and he knew it. He knew he could get hurt, or that his father might come home early and find his bed empty, or that something bad could happen...but he just couldn't help but be out when youma were prowling.
Except... The Negaverse was also prowling, and the second he had sensed the General's aura, he had powered down and started running home--but became entirely distract when he heard a female's voice and he crept closer until he had a good view if the scene. He only caught the very end of the battle, when it was too late for him to help, but as soon as the coast was clear, he hastily powered up and ran out to greet the girl. Instead of a normal greeting, he blurted the first thing on his mind--loudly, and too excitedly--"Are you Paper? --The Senshi of Paper? I'm Glue! We'll--no," he hastily corrected, "I'm Goretti, the Senshi of Glue! But it's really nice to meet you, that was so awesome!"

There as an audible, "Oh my god!" As she jumped from the sudden voice and order aura that came rushing over to her. She laid a hand over her heart, sure that it was going to come jumping out and fall flat on the ground.
Even more so when she realized that it wasn't a senshi like herself that greeted her. He was far much younger, cuter. A baby. Why was there a baby out here.
"Goretti of glue you say?" she had finally calmed down, enough to think of words and thoughts. "You gave me a right start Goretti, don't your parents teach you to be careful around strangers?" She patted her heart one more time, "Also no no, I am the senshi of Origami! Pretty close to paper, just folded. I'm sorry I just..." She breathed in.
"I'm Mintaka, Senshi of Origami. I'm really really confused, Aren't you a little...young? to be a Senshi?"

Goretti blinked for a second--and then laughed. "Young? No, I'm not that young. I'm thirteen! Though," he reached his hands up to poke his round cheeks. "I do still have a baby face, if that counts. I guess it depends on how old you are?"
He didn't seem offended, but it was hard to say something that really riled him up. Still, she was very right about the whole worrying your parents bit. "I'd die if dad found out, though. It'd break his heart. I mean, I dunno if I've ever seen him angry, but he might be a bit. But he is kind of a worrywart. And a tad bit over protective. But I love him--and he is one of the reasons that I do power up. I mean, don't you have someone you want to protect?"

Mintaka blinked again. She was 17 going on 18 and he was four years younger and he didn't think he was young? What was the world even..."Let me tell you something Goretti, you're still young." She reached over to flick him on the forehead, "I'm almost 18 years old and in my last year of high school." She did move over to poke at his cheeks gently. "You'll have a baby face until you're my age and still have it. Cause we are too young."
Since he didn't seem offended, she relaxed a little more. "I do, my parents and some of my friends." She didn't really fight though, but opted to not say that. "I thought senshis were meant to be older." She stuck close to him mostly because she had a very protective instinct and she didn't want to think of a Youma or Negaverse agent suddenly nabbing the little senshi while she was around. "I'm sorry if I might seem a bit rude, I've just...never met such a young senshi. So it's a little shocking to me, and I sort of just want to pick you up and carry you off back to home..."

Goretti just laughed and shook his head. "I know I'm young, just not that young! I mean, I'm still a teenager! I just haven't hit my growth spurt yet. But when I do?" His grin widened, "l'll be taller than you, just you wait! Buuuut," he shrugged. "I guess that could take a while, so don't hold your breath. You know, I met a Senshi even younger than me? Like, less than ten. And he seemed really young to me and, well, since he is basically four years younger than me, I think I can imagine how you feel. Because he seems too young for me. So I felt overprotective of him and worry about him lots. Must be the same for you?"
He didn't really wait for an answer before he shrugged. "But you don't have to worry about me, not much at least. I am really careful! But I mean, if you would like to patrol together, I would like that! I like new friends, so I'll take all I can get!"

"It's still young." Mintaka confirmed, absolutely enthralled with Goretti because he was just so freaking adorable and she always had a soft spot for kids and adorable ones at that. fkdsljflksdj. her hands itched to just really bring him into a hug and so she laced them together, giving herself the look of a demure young lady.
"I'm sure everyone will be taller then me at one point." A white eyebrow rose up, "I'm not quite the tallest senshi slash lady around." Meaning at her measly 5'5, she was just a bit average in her height. Thank you Korean genes. "But you got a couple of years yet." She smiled at him, "And I'm sure you'll be handsome young gentleman that will make ladies swoon and other gentleman wish they were you." hey man, she lived in her own fancy country club lifestyle. normal teenage things were different to her.
"Friends." A hand settled over her heart, "I would love to be friends! You would be my first white court friend, if that doesn't bother you! As well as me being older and all!" She held out a hand for him to shake. "I would love to patrol with you also, if you wanna show me around this area? I've not quite got my bearings around here, so anything you think is important to show me would be absolutely wonderful."

Goretti blinked and seemed a bit flustered when she mentioned girls and being handsome. He waved his hand dismissively but there was already a very red tint to his cheeks. "Oh, whatever," he said, flustered. He was prompt to change the subject back to just friendhip.
"But--being friends...Mind? Why would I mind? That sounds awesome to me! I don't ace how old you are or how experienced or whatever. That stuff's not important I. A friendship. Or, at least, I don't think so. What's important is that you care about each other and look after each other. So--as long as you're fine with that!"
He bounced up, in a seemingly unending good mood...once the topic wasn't on girls.
"I can show you some neat places. Like, the playground? There's a big wooden one around here, dad used to take me when I was younger. But I have grown out of it yet, it's still neat! Come on, I'll show you! It can be our meeting place!"

"Wow...Are you blushing?" Mintaka leaned down to pull at his cheeks. "It must mean you like girls already! Is there one you like? What's she like? I bet she's super cute...." Mintaka cupped her cheek in her hand, how nice young love. Sometimes she would read those mangas, when her comic books wouldn't come out and loved the lovey dovey ones. Most of them were from Goretti's age to her age! All the young love things, she hoped she would find somebody like that too.
But not until she was a good and pretty lady.
"Wow, such bold words, Really?" She took his hand and swung it between them. "I would love that, I don't have anyone like a younger brother, cause I'm an only child, so I'll look after you like one okay?" She smiled softly again, overly fond of the senshi of glue as is. Was it her weakness for cute adorable things? Or just that he seemed so innocent and bouncy that she didn't want him to be ruined by the bumps in the night.
"I'd love to see the playground, and it sounds like an excellent meeting spot..." She hesitated, "Goretti, you said you met other younger senshi then you? Do you know many senshi?"

Goretti's face was nearly scarlet before the subject change and he was too distracted thinking about a particular girl to pay attention to much of what Mintaka was saying. When she took his hand it brought his attention back and he blinked. "Oh, well I know a lot of Senshi," he said, adjusting his grip on her hand before he began to tug her towards the playground. "I mean, I know there are people who know way more than me, but just coming out, bumping into people--you meet a lot. And I know that so far I have been lucky, but I've met nice Senshi, nice Knights, Cats...even some nice DMC! And some not so bad Negas. What about you? The worst type of person I've met wasn't even a person, it was a youma. They seem to be the real troublemakers. To me, at least."
He might have seemed shy about liking girls earlier, but he was fine tugging Mintaka's hand as they talked; he wasn't afraid of cooties and wasn't so old that this meant anything between him showing her the way. Of course, if she had been Lenka...
Even just thinking about the girl made him flush, from his nose to his ears.

"Do you really? I know a couple, but I'm sad to say I'm not really close to the white court. I seemed to have more of affinity making friends with the Dark Mirrors." She smiled at the boy, "I haven't met anyone that really scares me-" That was a lie, because sometimes she remember Osumilite and his rage and anger at her. Of all the nega's she had seen, of all of them she had met, Osumilite was the only one to scare her. If she ever saw him again...She shook her head, "Even among the negaverse. You know some of them are quite talkative when you aren't aiming to punch them in the face?" She laughed, "And I'm not much of a fighter, so talking is all I have." She nodded, "The Youma's are the troublemakers, you're are most definitely right. They are the ones I tend to go after, but it seems no matter how many we get rid of, there is always more."
She swung their hands a little, more then happy for him to take the lead since she had no idea where the park was. She made sure to keep close attention though to his face and cocked her head when he started to flush.
It wasn't because they were holding hands right?
"Ah, Goretti? Are you okay?" Mintaka asked gently, since if he had some reason thought she was pretty and got a crush, she wanted to let him down gently now. (Of course he would have a crush on her after all, she was a polite PRETTY lady). "I hope holding my hand isn't making you uncomfortable?"Kyuseisha no Hikari So yeah give mintaka a moment to get OVER HER BIG HEAD

"I'm not tall enough to hit most of them in the face," Goretti said, seeming to think this was an amusing thought. He always preferred to talk rather than fight, but he didn't seem like he was particularly aggressive. He'd have preferred friends on any side of the battlefield—except for youma.
Youma were pretty bad, and tried to hurt people for no reason. And animals. Like cute, fluffy cats.
Which was something Goretti just could not stand by and watch.
…And was definitely something that was easier for him to talk about than the other things on his mind.
He paused and looked at their joined hands, blinked, and then looked up at her. "Why, should it? No, I think your hand is fine. Am I squeezing too tight?" he loosened it a bit and seemed embarrassed, but was quick to laugh at himself. "Sorry, I guess I got excited. I haven't gotten to show anyone the playground. I would love to make friends with some more people so we could hang out. I don't care how old you are, this place is cool," he said—and promptly hastened to reach it.
He slowed only when the great wooden structure came into view; it was a little aged, however it was obviously still well tended for. There were swings and slides and what looked like a castle for the kids to explore. "I mean, you might have to crouch down a little to get through some places, but it's really neat. We don't have to hold hands anymore if it's making you uncomfortable? And I mean, well, we're here, so…unless you wanted me to keep showing you around?"

"You will be one day though remember?" She laughed a little again, thinking it odd that she just met the boy and already trying to imagine him taller then he was. Would she live to see him grow up? Still be friends? She was so silly, thinking of the little things. She just met him after all!
"Oh, It just seemed that you were um...blushing a lot?" Had Mintaka gotten it wrong, was Goretti now charmed by her amazing beauty and lady like manners? Well that was good too! She was never the type to do good with crushes, and perhaps if she was persistent, and she met with the boy more, he could be like a little brother. She could be his super overprotective sister!
"No no! You aren't squeezing too tight Goretti." She laughed, "I'm glad I get to see it with you! Well see it for the first time, It's been a long time since I've gone to a playground, much less played on one. Those things are easily forgotten when-" She stopped as they slowed, looking over the structure with a critical and judging eye. "Oh yes, Don't mind me." She squeezed his hand one more time before letting go and lifting herself on to some of the wooden play structure. Her hand ran over it and she gave it another moment before she said something, she made her way to the top of the castle, looking for the small window before smiling at the boy.
"Goretti, Goretti, Help help. I'm a princess trapped in a castle by a fierce dragon Youma. Will you save me?" She was mostly teasing, but when you were on a playground, the proper thing was to play right?

A smile flickered onto Goretti's face as he watched Mintaka, and he couldn't help but laugh. He hadn't played on a playground with someone like that in a long time, though the last time he'd made his father play the damsel on distress while he took turns between playing the knight and dragon.
"Oh, princess! I'll come rescue you! But only if you promise to push me on the swings afterwards!" He laughed before he began to work his way up the side of the castle; he didn't take the conventional route but instead climbed, like a monkey, to reach the platform where she stood. It didn't seem that what he was doing was particularly safe, but he didn't worry for so much as a second.
"Ta-da!" He said, obviously proud of himself; his father didn't like when he trid to climb the castle, but...
Powered up? And with Mintaka? There wasn't any harm in that. Besides, he was totally capable of taking care of himself. Probably.

"I will do anything for the handsome prince that saves me!" She took her sash and waved it like a hankie outside the little castle window. She made small 'oh prince help, save me' calls for Goretti and laughed as he climbed up the playground set like a monkey. Kids always managed to surprise her. And she never really got to play on playground sets like this. It was always some sort of class, violin? Ballet, horseback riding, tea setting, flower arranging. Her parents had high standards.
"Ah thank you so much prince! You have defeated the dragons and save me, the princess from the tower..." She rewarded him with a innocent enough hug, "Now for your reward!" She pulled back and laughed, "Let this princess push you on the swings!" She let him go, winking before putting her hand on one of the rail beams, swinging both her legs over to launch herself to the ground.
She hit the bark dust with a slight step of her foot, walking over to the swings and holding the chains for them. "Come on Goretti, every prince deserves his one true reward!" And she would push him and then join him on the other swing.
