Introduction: Congrats! You're hired!
So you want to be on the crew? Well, good news for you: we don't have a lot of options. So you're hired. What happened to the previous crew you ask? We fired them. The whole lot. And don't ask questions!
Your Duties You're probably wondering about your duties on board the ship in addition to your position on the crew. General duties will includer things like dishes, waste disposal, cleaning the floors and walls, moving cargo, and the like. Don't want to do it? Con someone else into doing it for you, but don't let me or the first mate hear you complain. Or we'll take away your desert.
How You Were Hired Because it's the easiest way, we landed on Persephone in a port that many people call home. We used the electronic message board to post about job openings aboard the ship. And you, you desperate people, answered our ad. So for better or worse - probably worse - we're stuck with you and you with us.

Navigation: Can you fly this thing?
We, thankfully, have picked up a pilot. However, all crew should have a very basic knowledge of how to fly the ship. Because if the pilot gets shot, we need to stay in the air. Pesky bullet wounds tend to keep folks from doing their job most of the time.

Weapons: Ever held a gun before, Charlie?
There may come a time when someone wants to shoot you. Well, you just shoot them right back. Generally, you hold the handle of a weapon and point the opposite end at the other guy.
The use of weapons: to fire or not to fire
Stealth
Weapon limit on planets
Weapon limit on ships

Food: Delicious and nutrituous... gray stuff.
Need to know basis; we'll tell you more as we go.
FOOD: Food aboard the ship is generally considered mush. The food is canned, dried (beans, rice), freeze-dried, or a block of nutrients that (most often) has the flavor of chalk. Fresh or dried vegetables and fruits are expensive and, thus, a rare treat. Meats are dried, salted, and tough for the most part. The acquisition of fresh meat is even more difficult than that of produce; these salted and dried meats are most commonly used in conjunction with protein supplements.

Rules of the Ship: They keep us flyin'.
Need to know basis. We'll tell you more as we go.
Ship rules: 1. Obey the captain and his second in command. 2. No animals/pets. 3. Pull your own weight. 4. Do not injure or betray your crew. 5. Crew must pack light. Two medium sized bags, no suitcases. Possessions will be searched before boarding. You may not bring weapons. Our mercenary is an exception.
More to be added as necessary. Anyone not following the rules will be dumped on the nearest habitable planet or moon.
