"Would you really?" She asked amused, her tone soft as she canted her head to the side ever so slightly. "Perhaps I should jump in on you, what then?" Zeme asked her nose turning up slightly as she glanced down at him with a small smile. Clearly she wasn't that upset about being splashed and was taking it all in good stride. Quote: Ehecatl: "Then obviously I'd have to catch you." Gives her a wink. Feels a wave coming on and turns around as if she never even existed. "WAVE!" Dives back in and swims towards it enough to finally catch it and surfs about half of it before jumping out of it like any sea creature would. With a hint of a curve as his head dived back in to the water. "Wooooo!!!!" Celebrating by throwing his paws in the air and stayed there for a moment before turning to her. "Did you see that!?" Quote: Zeme :: Zeme opened her mouth about to speak but before she could the male was already swimming off. She blinked a few moments before watching his little stunt her brow quirking lightly. "I did see that, enjoying yourself?" She asked mildly as she watched him with amusement. "You seem excited." Zeme stated moving slightly till her paws were in the water. "I'm Zeme by the way." Quote: Ehecatl: "Woah! It wasn't the best but it was fun!" Excited was one thing, obsessive was another. Sighing happily as he laid back in to the water... Then he turned back to the girl and started to float back. "There not gunna be any more waves for a little, I don't feel any coming.." With that hint of sadness hanging on to the end of his sentence. "Zeme? OH I forgot~ Name's Ehecatl... dragon of the sea." Winking at her. "Soon to be the best surfer ever~" The cockyness was almost a bit overpowering. He pulled himself up the small ledge of the ground, beaches were more south. Putting his arms up on the ground as his lower end stayed in the water. "Pretty name~ for a pretty girl like you~" Sharing to her, his charming smile. Quote: Zeme ::
"Well I am glad that it was fun." She stated gently before looking out and blinking. "You can feel when the waves are coming?" She asked curiously tilting her head to the side as she gave him a sidelong glance. "A pleasure to meet you Ehecatl, dragon of the sea." Her voice was light with laughter before she tilted her head to the side once more she was about to ask if that was what he had been doing, surfing when he spoke again. Her cheeks under her fur tinted pink and she blinked before looking off to the side. "Thank you Ehecatl." She spoke softly her voice quite as a mouse as she swirled her toes in the water lightly. "It's very kind of you to say so." Quote: Ehecatl: "Well I mean.. you can call me whatever you like~ most call me echo. Because yea know.. waves~" He chuckled and looked out to the ocean.. He wouldn't have it any other way than to be here all of his life, like it had been. "Yea.. I can sense the water with echolocation. Sending a small wave back, I can feel if a big one is drawing out the water. Sometimes it doesn't work but most of the time its spot on. Plus- the ocean drags me in anyways." As he floated there, still his front paws on the land, but looking out. When her voice rang in shyness, he looked up at her. She was kinda cute- he thought so early but a real close look made her look like she was shining.. "Think so~ know so." He laughed. Then pondered a moment on what could make this moment any better...
"Yea know..have you ever tried swimming before? Or you to rooted to the earth~" Quote: Zeme :: She gave a soft and warm smile looking over at him gently. She took note of the little things, like his gold underbelly and the lovely fins of his tail; which she could just make out under the water. He was sleek and the water glinted in the blue and gold of his fur, standing out starkly against his white. He really did look almost like a dragon of the sea. "Echo is nice too. I'm amused with the fact your name has Cat in it but you live in the water. Most cats hate water." She said softly before looking out over the ocean and back to him. The water was beautiful and she found it interesting that he was so in tune with it. Perhaps it was like how she was with nature. At the question she blinked before slowly shaking her head in the negative. "Oh no, I am a land dwelling creature and I have plants yes, but I'm not rooted to the land. Yet neither have I ever gone swimming either." She stated shaking her head once more. "I was always worried I would drown as I don't know how to swim." Quote: Ehecatl: He then turned his focus on her. Which, to get him away from the ocean, you'd have to be something shiny or pretty. "Oh land dwellers and all~ but you never wondered what it'd like under the sea? I mean~ A tree is just a tree- we got those down here too." He smiled brightly. Know it all sorta. "I can show you~ how to swim that is. Then maybe you can see the plant life down here~ That's what you like.. right?" Noting that she looked like she had a bush on her back. Although why she would be carrying that around was beyond him but it did add some color to her, especially with those flowers.
He flapped his fin up, like a shamu showing off his tail. "What do you say~ do you trust me?" Lifting a paw up to her.

Zeme ::
Zeme blushed slightly once more before looking off to the side. "It isn't that I don't wonder about it, merely that I don't find it in my realm of possibilities to explore." She stated simply looking back at him with a small smile. She tilted her head to the side before nodding lightly. "Oh yes, I love plants. I spend a lot of my time in the forest, it keeps me at peace." She said before eyeing the paw he held out to her. Zeme's head lifted lightly to catch on his tail as it lifted out of the water before she looked back at his paw. She supposed that yes she did trust him, after all he seemed nice and an impeccable swimmer. She lifted her paw lightly and placed it in his before slowly moving towards the edge. "Yes, I trust you." The femme spoke softly before slipping down into the water and floundering just a bit.

Ehecatl : If he didn't know any better, he'd think she was the most beautiful land dweller he'd seen. Not like he seen many, his range only came when he was surfing. As soon as her feet got in to the water, he jerked her arms to pull her closer to him and used his fin to push them about 3 feet away from the cliffed grass area.
His fin could scrape the bottom, and she looked about .. half his size so it should be a good feet to learn. "Alright.. I'll keep you close so don't worry about drowning or anything. I know land dwellers they don't have gills.... Or at least I don't think you do~" Softly brushing her curly green locks to check over her neck.. The personal space was now nearly non existent. "Alright so ... your gunna start, by thinking like your ... light. Like you have no weight. Let your mind ease, and you'll float. That's what my dad taught me.. I'll hold you, you try floating above my paws.. ok? Ready? I'mma dip my paws lower, but I'll catch you if you sink or something crazy. Think.. light.. like.. um.. whatever those things in the wing are called."

Zeme ::
She squeaked as she was tugged into the water clinging closer to Ehecatl in her sudden fear. Zeme gave a soft little sound as the leaves on her back turned a darker green and she tucked her nose against him for a moment to gather herself.
Zeme gave a light giggle and shook her head. "No, I don't have gills, unfortunately. That would likely make this easier." She shifted slightly but didn't try to get away, the lack of personal space not really bothering her as she inspected the water more fully. She snorted slightly as she tired to think of something light. He was funny and she couldn't help but be amused by him.
"Perhaps more like a leaf. Leaves are light and float on the water all the time." She stated as she closed her eyes and tried to think of herself as a leaf floating along on water. "You make is look so simple." She spoke softly her voice sounding a bit distant as she tried to focus on being light an airy.

"Yea, leafs." His voice softly dragged out.. When slowly he took his paws from beneath her... she was floating!? Oh wow she caught on quick. Maybe this..'leaf' the things that clouded the waters weren't so bad after all. He softly smiled. Then... softly moved the water around her so she was able to float in circles.. without even him having to touch her. His tail gave a flap to boost her speed as she floated along.. His eyes slitted.. she looked beautiful.
"You got it! Look ! Your floating!" He moved slightly back to give her some room.. Watching over her... Like a protective.. He blushed softly.
"Natural. Maybe like seaweed~ or something! Their not as pretty though."

Zeme::
Zeme giggled slightly as she floated in a circle. This was peaceful, she could see why some loved the water so much. It was such a calming sort of deal and she felt almost rejuvenated by floating around in it. Zeme had been blissfully laying there when he spoke again making her glance of slightly.
"Oh gosh... so I am!" She squeaked and almost lost it for a moment but managed to keep afloat.
She blinked, seaweed? She wasn't even sure what that was, it was the last part though that got her and she blushed slightly before trying to move. This only caused her to lose it and go under spluttering slightly as her head went under and she scrambled slightly. "Yikes~!" Zeme managed to squeak out as she clambered to grab a hold of Ehec.

He flirted with so many, but her. He didn't even have to try. She was just different and he knew just by talking with her. No sooner than he let go, did she float nearly minutes before sinking. As soon as he went to grab her, she had already curled his arms to any part she could. He in return, pulled her close to him by her stomach dip and held her close. "I got cha." A sincere smile before he pulled her on top of him. "How about this then. Just til your used to the water." Slowly swimming backwards as he held her on top of him. It was slow.. and some of the waves crashing near by helped them to make ripples themselves. "See.. now lets try to deepen.." Then as they came slightly further off shore, he lowered his body enough that he was just below the surface of the water.
Looking up at her and blowing bubbles up at her.
