 Ling wasn't happy after his latest defeat and so he took to the field with the intention to find a target that he could take it out on. As he flew over the battleground he 'spotted' a familiar figure and all previous intentions faded to be replaced with a desire to once again to battle and defeat this particular demi. Angling himself he swooped down to slice Arsh with his razor claws HP: 35

Arshavir had finally finished his penance for losing so horrendously against Antar -- while he of course had no qualms of flying about helping return their wounded to camp, he of course had pined for battle. Now that he was free to once again engage the enemy, but he was angered that they had been pushed back to square one, and he had been able to do nothing about it. He was so deep in thought that he didn't spot Ling coming in until it was too late, and though he tried to turn away, he took the claws deeply along his shoulder. Hissing in pain he turns to swing at the bug immediately with his flanged mace. HP: 32

Ling twisted, but still took the retaliatory mace strike hard to his side. A hiss slipped form his thin lips. Ignoring the throbbing and dripping blood he was quick to come back around to lash out violently fro the cursed enemy. He wasn't going to make the same mistake he had last time. HP: 32

Arsh scowled, even as he was scored by those claws again, readying his mace. "Didn't get enough the first time?" he asks, before swinging for Ling's legs. HP: 29

Ling growled in response and took a crushing blow to his leg. He got the feeling of deja vu from the blow, but didn't let it distract him from swiftly retaliating with an angry upwards slash from his claws, antenna fluttering wildly, HP: 29

Arshavir could not recover from his swing in time to avoid the claws and they rip his face from chin to forehead, angry tears bleeding immediately as Arsh's head goes back from the force. He looks back at his foe and merely smiles, hiding the pain of the wounds. "Apparently not," he replies to the blow, before moving in and making the next swing go for Ling's head. HP: 25

Ling took the hit to the side of his head, snapping his head to the side and causing him to shift to the side from the sheer force of the blow. Blood dripped from his torn flesh as his head snapped back with only a low, threatening growl. Ignoring the pounding in his head he violently swung his staff to bludgeon the darned cursed demi upside the head. HP: 25

Arshavir smiled again at the growl and started to move in, only to get caught by the staff, snapping his own head to the side. He quickly retaliated, however, bringing the mace up and back down again, hopinng to crack the moth's head open, and maybe damage those antennae in the process. HP: 22

Ling didn't pull back in time and took the cracking blow to the crown of his head. crushing one of his antenna in the process. His 'vision' distorted and a sound that was a strange mix of a snarl, shriek, and growl escaped him and he lashed out wildly with his claws. HP: 21

Arsh was too busy admiring the crushed antennae and the shriek coming from his foe to avoid the claws, and he took those across his face, giving his visage an ugly crisscrossed look. He winced but still smiled as he swung his mace again, for Ling's stomach. HP: 18

Ling swooped to the side causing the mace to brush by him. His head was throbbing majorly and he really only had one antenna that was functioning fully. Though he was full of wrath, directed at Arsh for crushing his antenna. He lunged back at the offender and struck out with his claws. HP: 20

Well, there went the streak they both had going. The thrilling blow for blow exchange stopped when Arshavir whiffed the last shot. But he kept moving and made Ling miss too, pivoting to the side and swinging his mace for Ling's back. HP: 17

Ling twisted to the side, but not quite quick enough he took a strong hit to his back the tore his ashen flesh. With a growl, more of irritation than pain, her whipped around to slam his staff down on the other's head between his horns. Only his one antenna waving about as the other just hung there limply. HP: 17

Ling whipped around too fast for Arsh to dodge and he's clobbered atop his head, a lump already forming as he has to shake stars from his vision. He jabs the flanged end of his mace at Ling's stomach like a billiards shot. HP: 14

Ling doesn't react in time to stop the mace from smashing into his stomach, forcing the air from his lungs and tearing up his skin. Ling's good antenna twitches and as he suck air into his lungs again he makes to grab the mace as he swings his staff in for another blow. HP: 13
