The Summer Haven Event! Queen Elsa has been encouraging the pride to welcome new life, and to seek new pride members during this season of summer renewal. In that vein, a new family has arrived to live in the Frozen Isle! All was going well, until, in their excitement, the two cubs have wandered away from their parents, and cannot be found!
Elsa has summoned those of her pride that are willing to help, to find these playful rascals and return them to their parents! They can be found anywhere on the Frozen Island itself, or perhaps even on the ice lake or in the snowy dunes just outside the pride. They would not have ventured into the rogue lands or high into the mountains!
Respond to the prompt as if you just heard Queen Elsa asking for help in finding the cubs. This entire family is available to be given away! The cubs will be won by playing this simple game! The parents will be given away through participation!
To play, simply RP your search! Each post counts for a roll. You can RP together or Solo it, as long as you post in this thread! Include your roll with your post.
You will roll 1 20 Sided Dice to try and find one of these two scamps! I will roll both numbers for them, and the first to match either one will win! Rolls will continue until both are found! First winner will get first pick!
There must be at least one RP post between your rolls! So you post and roll, then someone else posts and rolls, THEN you can roll again.
You may only win one of the cubs!
These cubs will hold the rank of 'Summer Sun'! Please link to this thread when certing.
IGNORE THE FIRST ROLL. The roll post beneath this are the numbers you are looking for!
This game is open! If it takes too long to find the cubs/no one plays, I'll use another method to give them away.
You Are Looking For The Numbers 14 and 10!

Hans throttled down the urge to sigh in disgust and plastered his best smile in place. Fortunately, he had great practice in hiding his feelings; it was one of his best skills. Granted, he considered himself to be skilled in a great many things.
He didn't really want to among the rabble attempting to find lost cubs, but he was eager to improve, or rather solidify, his good reputation among the other members of the pride.
Of course, he'd been naturally curious when he'd heard that Queen Elsa had some kind of announcement. He had not been expecting that it would be a plea for help in searching for some young cubs who had wandered off. Hans was of the opinion that their parents should have been watching more closely. After all, young cubs were the responsibilities of their parents. Or their siblings. Hans hid a grimace at the reminder of his older brothers.
Still, being the "good guy" that he was, Hans agreed to join the search, volunteering to head in the direction of the icy lake. He figured it was unlikely for the cubs to have headed that way, but it was a dangerous location to search and therefore was more impressive to the others.

Ezen huffed softly as he made his way from the meeting Elsa had called. Leave it to cubs to wander off and get lost in a new place. Surely their parents had made it clear to them that, if they were in a new place, they shouldn't wander from their sight until they got to know the area. It was nice that the day was clear and that the cubs weren't going to blend in to the snow, as so many of the pride members did. Ezen himself was able to do that, which helped him in the long run. He could keep an eye on things without anyone knowing. He plodded his way through the snow, trying to see if he could find any tracks. Unfortunately there were tracks everywhere, so he had to use his nose to try to pick up on a scent that he wasn't used to. Nose to the ground, he continued to walk, trying to catch a whiff of something unfamiliar. This kids were going to be the death of their parents, he was sure.

Mzimu had wandered across the news by chance - missing children? The thought made his chest ache. His own children had grown and gone while he remained a lone wanderer. It had taken some getting used to, but the waterbuck continued on. He could perhaps help?
The trek across the pride's terrain would not be easy, he knew, but he couldn't just sit by and do nothing! The air was cold, however. He huffed and allowed himself to be included within the search party - though he'd have to be careful of all these predators about.

Sundai had just been visiting the pride on a whim. He found the cold weather enjoyable and had been enjoying himself by rolling in the snow carelessly when the queen of the pride announced two cubs were missing. "Oh, dear." He quietly muttered to himself and shook himself free of snow while standing. Hmm.. The leopard paused to yawn in delayed tiredness and then proceeded to make his decision to join the search party. "Let's go... This way." He headed out towards the mountain. He was rather slow as he walked, and made sure to look behind every rock and tree to see if a cub was hiding behind it.

Ezen pressed his nose into a particularly deep print, one that looked like a cub had fallen rather than stepped, and snorted. He had gotten a nose full of snow for his efforts and little else. Ah well, best to keep searching. He shook his head and turned his paws in the direction of the little river that ran through their island to the lake. It tended to freeze over in the thickest part of the winter, but this time of the year the source had flowing water.
He paused to sniff the air a few times as he walked, but there was nothing that turned up. Once he thought he caught an unfamiliar scent, but it turned out to be that of the parents of the lost cubs. Close but not quite what he was looking for. Upon reaching the river, he was disappointed to find that there were no fresh paw prints and no sign of cubs, lost or otherwise.

Mzimu stamped a hoof, frowning. He hoped the poor little ones had not gone up the mountain! He couldn't really make it very high in one, after all. His hooves weren't built to climb mountain. He had heard, though, of a lake in this area, though frozen as it was. Perhaps the children wanted to go there, though it seemed frightfully dangerous.
What if they slipped?
One of the other lions were heading in that direction, and the waterbuck moved to follow him. Perhaps it would be best if the did split up, but he hoped the cubs did not go far. "Do you really think the children would wander out this far?" he said aloud, though he didn't particularly know who he was directing it to - anyone that would answer, he supposed.

Hmm. Sundai stopped walking briefly to think to himself. This wasn't working and the further he climbed the colder it was, and the less likely any cubs were to be hiding around a corner. Still he plowed on through the snow, looking everywhere he could.
He thought he might have heard a voice travelling across the wind. "Where are you little guy?"
Maybe a change in direction would help... Sundai turned around and began moving further to the left now.

Hans glanced behind him, quite surprised at the sheer number of pride members and visitors who had joined the effort for the missing cubs. Well, it was a rather serious matter, and as irritating as it was, he did share at least a mild concern for their safety.
He continued his trek towards the icy lake, scanning the nearby area, wondering if he would find either cub. Certainly he would be considered a hero and be admired if he managed to find one. Perhaps he would increase his effort in the search.
After all, Hans was always most concerned with himself and his image. He had goals and he would achieve them.
So absorbed his own thoughts, it took him awhile to realize that another searcher had joined him. Hans turned to flash an encouraging smile, but maintaining the proper, solemn expression.
"I have no idea where those poor cubs have wandered off to, but I do hope we find them soon. It will be good to have them back safe with their parents."

Ezen noticed a few other lions out looking for the cubs as he paused to get a drink from the river, deciding he might as well since he was here. Good, the more looking the better. Surely the cubs weren't in that state of mind yet that made them panic. They had only just been discovered missing, as a matter of fact. They couldn't have gotten far! How two unusual cubs could have slipped through all their paws was beyond him, though. Their parents were certainly not 'normal' for this area by any means, with their greens and pinks. Perhaps he should ask to enlist the help of some of the birds that passed by.
Turning away from the river, he headed back through the woods to the edge of the island and headed out onto the ice. There were paw prints here, but they were all pretty large. The fishers and ice breakers had been out working here not long before.

Sundai took a moment to pause and glance below him, or rather behind him as he hadn't gotten very far up the mountain, being as slow as he was walking and all...
"Oh good." He smiled to himself. So many of the pride member, and who he could only assume were visitors also pitched in. It made the calm and lazy leopard smile knowing that there were so many people searching for the poor lost babies... He could only image the concern the poor parents were feeling right now.
Right... He was also searching, he faced straight again and marched onwards. "Cub... Little cubs, where are you?" He called in hopes that someone would answer.

Kaveh happened to stumble by hearing the news of the two missing cubs. He almost gasped the moment he heard. He had to do something to help so he joined the search party. When he found them he would be named a hero.
That fact excited him to the point he wanted to jump in the air. He didn’t though thinking about how others would look at him strangely for being excited in such a dire situation. He quickly ran through the snow noticing how much the snow slowed him down.
He began to worry himself with his thoughts. If the cubs were white wouldn’t they be hard to find? He hadn’t been there long enough to hear what they looked like. He figured it wouldn’t be too hard to find two cubs. He would just have to lower his sight more then he usually did.

Ezen decided that was a bad place to look. The ice wasn't very fun in terms of cub appeal, he knew the cubs usually enjoyed playing in the trees more than out on the lake. He sighed softly as he turned around to move back to the island. He wished he could have thought of this sooner: he wasn't the brightest lion in the box, living in the moment and generally not thinking things out. He knew that was his downfall, but for the most part, being told what to do and then chasing off intruders didn't need a lot of 'thinking ahead'.
He headed in the direction of the dens, figuring other lions might attract the cubs to them. He didn't remember much of when he was a young cub like this, other than playing with his sibling. They had each other so why they'd run off, he wasn't sure. It was nice to have siblings to play with all the time, that much he knew.
