Anyways on with the guide. This thread will guide you along this guild, and will possibly answer some of your questions. So it's advisable to read this before doing anything else. Or you just might find yourself warned or banned!
Yes, this is kind of much to go through, but please bear with us. So, without further ado, get started on reading!

Rules
Rules are generally divided between two types. Normal rules and Insta-Ban rules. Three violations of normal rules will get you banned from doing any activity in the guild for one week. After that week, the ban will be lifted, and you can carry on as normal. But violate them one more time, and you're gone forever. One violation of an insta-ban rule will get you banned with no chance for redemption.
✖ INSTA-BAN RULES ✖
These rules are placed first because these are the foremost rules you need to acquaint yourself with.
1. Rule of "OH GOD MY EYES!" Pornography and gore-y materials are not allowed here. While we understand that some role plays may have steam and gore, we ask that you keep both to an appropriate level for our younger members. If this rule is broken, not only will you be removed from the guild, you will be reported to the site admins.
2. Rule of Passionate Embrace Do not attempt to "cyber" publicly in the guild. We have minors, for heaven's sake. If you must, take it OUTSIDE of Gaia. We're not 100% sure, but we've heard that if you take it to PMs you still might get caught somehow so we're not going to advocate that. Take it to e-mails or messengers or something. Minor romance, such as kissing and hugging, are fine. This counts for role plays, too.
3. Rule of Dwarven Vow #11: Lying is the first step down the path to thievery First off, if you get the reference, hooray! Back to the rules. If you want to share fan-works and original artworks not done by your own hand, we highly suggest that there be some form of credit to the original artist, be it mentioning their name or linking back to the source of the art. If you can't figure out the source...you will actually get off fine as long as you don't try to pass it off as your own creation. Doing so is called ART THEFT, and it will result in a permanent removal an from the guild. We deem this to be the third worst possible violation behind posting explicit material and cybering.
4. Rule of Stalker Rights Stalkers have no rights. If we get reports of someone in the guild constantly stalking and harassing someone, that person leaves.
5. Rule of Trauma Triggers TRIGGER WARNING Triggers are required for all serious discussion threads, especially when discussing things like bullying, rape, suicide or anything of that sort. These topics can be very traumatic for another member, so there MUST be a trigger warning in the title of the topic. If your thread doesn't have [TRIGGER WARNING] in the title when it should, you will be removed from the guild instantly and your thread will be deleted. This is a VERY serious matter, and is not to be ignored under any circumstance.
General Posting Rules
1. Rule of Street Respect Be polite at all times to your fellow guild members. Drama is not good. It's okay to fool around at times, but make sure you don't tick people off too badly. It's okay to start debates as long as they don't devolve into flame wars. Realize that people have their own opinions, and if they clash with yours, that does not mean you have the right to bash them for it.
2. Rule of Dieting Posts Do not stretch pages with posts. If you want to show a large picture, just post a link. As for text....It's kind of bothersome to see a straight line of punctuation or words with no use of the space bar. If you do it occasionally, we'll just remind you about this rule. But if we see you doing this often with the intention of deliberately annoying people, you'll get a strike on your record.
3. Rule of Constant Insignificance Do not spam. Unless it's in the Random Nonsense thread. And that still has its limits. Don't bump, there's no use of doing so unless you've otherwise explained your situation and have been given the okay. Don't just simply post an emoticon unless it's as a reply to another post.
4. Rule of Thread Necromancy Posting in a discussion that seems dead (a.k.a. "necroing") is fine by us as long as your reply is substantial and relevant to the topic at hand. If you make a spam reply in a dead thread, you get a strike against your record.
5. Rule of Blindfolded Text If you're putting up a spoiler for something [games, movies, books; anything at all] in a thread that has not been marked with a spoiler warning, then hide it under the handy-dandy spoiler tag. It's basic courtesy. Just because, for example, Crow is a really old movie doesn't mean there will never be people who are new to it. Please, be considerate when discussing games and such.
General Thread Rules
1. Rule of Thread Cloning If you're going to make a thread, make sure it hasn't been covered already. There's no use in making a repeat thread. CHECK to see if your question/topic has already been brought up, and if it hasn't try the threads in subforums. THEN create a thread if you still haven't found one.
2. Rule of Misplaced Marbles Create a thread in the subforum in which it is supposed to belong in. I.E., if you want to talk about a game, take it to the Gaming Discussion sub-forum. If you want to role play, try the Role Play sub-forum. Do check the fifth post for a guide on which sub-forum your thread may belong in.
3. Rule of Specialized Disclaimers If your thread will be all about discussing the plot (or one crucial point in it) of a game/book/movie/etc. from start to finish, then mark it with a SPOILER sign of sorts on the title so that people who have yet to finish the game know not to enter it.
Miscellaneous
1. Rule of Complete Denial If you didn't know that something was a rule, we will only let things slide ONCE if you were unaware. You will then be directed to rereading these rules, and any further violations will be counted against you.
2. Rule of Wielding the Loudspeaker The Guild Announcement feature is open to anyone, even ordinary members, to use. You may use it to advertise contests you want to run, role plays in or outside of the guild, your own guild, and so forth. But, the moment this feature gets abused—for example, using it to spam everyone with inane comments simply "for the lulz"—that right will be revoked. Don't ruin this for everyone.
3. Rule of—HEY! LOOK! LISTEN! PLEASE keep your Guild Announcements enabled! We want you to keep informed on guild activities like contests, mini-contests, forum updates, and hangout sessions! Note: Failure to comply with this rule does not earn you a violation, but it's something we'd really appreciate you doing, thanks.
4. Rule of Forum Purchases Insanity's Corner allows users to purchase forums for their role plays, instead of relying on a single forum. Buying one is easy—all you need to do is send a trade for 2500 to the captain or vice captain titled "Forum Purchase" or something similar. Once the trade is complete, you can PM the title of your role play to the captain, and she will edit a forum title or create a forum for you.

Mods
I introduce to you the moderators of Insanity's Corner. We're here to help you, so if you have a question, just ask!
Charming Insanity [Captain] Charming usually frequents the Random Nonsense Thread and Role Playing sub-forum. Mostly docile, it takes a lot to piss her off, which means she's either graciously tolerant and open-minded or just dense and oblivious; except when it comes to the rules. In addition to that, she is pretty much here everyday, so you can be sure she'll catch your questions concerning the forum.
Fae Princess Euphie [Vice Captain] Euphie, as she prefers to be called, has become Vice Captain under Charming. She's often found in the role plays forums (specifically series-related role plays) but sometimes wanders around and jumps in on random discussions. If you have any questions about the guild or life in general, please do not hesitate to ask her.

Forum Guide
All right, all right. We are aware each sub-forum has its own sticky explaining what its purpose is, but we still feel this is needed not only for a little more convenience, but because we still see some misplaced marbles around from time to time. Here is a rundown from top to bottom on the list.
The Main Forum - The forum you are currently in. Needless to say, it's for all kinds of talk on...pretty much anything! You may also share fandom-related fan-works (art, fiction, videos, cosplays, etc.) here. Just mind the rules.
Hall of Thrones - No touchy. Crew only. It's where we mods are relaxing and discussing plans for the future such as contests.
Contests and Giveaways - This sub-forum is where all the contests and giveaway threads will be located. It's also used for charity threads, quest threads, and things relating to that general idea.
Role Play Events - An event sub-forum for role plays. Whether they be story events or giveaway events. Please note that if an event actually has a story to it, tell the captain so she can make it an announcement or a sticky. And, when an event ends, the captain will LOCK the thread so no more posting can be done.
Chatterbox - The place where you can make threads about anything that doesn't fit in the other forums. Such as squeeing over a new thing you got. Or sharing a random video on YouTube you thought was awesome. Anything. Just mind Insta-Ban Rule #3, if you're gonna share fan-works.
Forum Games - A place filled with forum games that'll sure jog your memory on the topic and raise your post count if you can't quite find a discussion to jump into out in the Main Forum.
Recycle Bin - This is where all the threads that have the most likeliness of getting revived go, so that OPs may easily find them if they're still interested in resurrecting them.
Archive - This is where long dead threads go. Absolutely no posting goes on there, and any that does will be counted as spam. Not that they can be no longer discussed—they've been locked to prevent confusion since time stamps on threads are often overlooked. If you wish to start a new thread based on the topics you see there, you may do so—provided it isn't a repeat thread in the other forums.
Role Play Resources - This is where profiles can go. Not necessary for group role plays, but can be very handy for people seeking one-on-one role plays and need a place to put their characters.
One-on-One Role Plays - Exactly what it sound like. This subforum is for role plays between two people, or just a small group of friend who don't need an entire forum dedicated to their role play.
