Unlike most Adjuchas, the individual known as Cillian was not a single entity that had overpowered its peers within a large Menos; Cillian was actually a combination of all of them, all of the minds swirling within what was known as a Menos Grande. He was the persona the conflicting minds had agreed on through sheer luck and uncharacteristic compliance. Because of that, his memories of his time before his evolution are a fragmented mess and remain ignored for the majority of the time unless he needed some specific knowledge or skill. It could be said that Cillian was walking oxymoron whose warring opposites had finally managed to balance one another by settling on a neutral walking the tightrope of the moral and emotional spectrum.



The first memory that was clearly his and not part of something else's showed Cillian in the Forest of Menos. That would be when he had first emerged as an Adjuchas. His body had been that of a winged lizard with scales of quartz similar to those of the Menos Trees. Because of these similarities, he spent most of his time among the trees, growing closer to the material until he discovered that they could serve as Reiryoku conducts. He then learned to infuse his Reiryoku into them to use them to better sense the movements of large Reiatsus around those quartz extensions much like how spiders of the living realm used their net to detect disturbances in their web. The quartz could also emit the Reiryoku infused into them and help as decoy to better shield Cillian's presence. By remaining in the Forest of Menos, Cillian had the upper hand in terms of terrain and would eventually learn to make use of his abilities to better ambush and best other Adjuchas. Slowly, he grew stronger until he became a force to reckon and his presence was one that was feared among the lower regions of the Menos Forest. It took a few centuries, but Cillian eventually evolved into a Vasto Lorde.

It was only then, after becoming the top predator among predators, that Cillian came to realize how empty and pointless his existence was. Up until then, he had simply laid low to satiate his hunger, acting on survival instincts to do whatever was needed to live and retain his sense of self, but for what purpose? He had reached the top of the food chain, and was confronted by an existential crisis. What was the meaning of his existence? Why did he cling to his individuality so desperately? He had so many questions and knew that he would not find any answers if he remained in the Forest of Menos so he took off for the surface in hopes of finding answers. Unfortunately, all he found was more emptiness and solitude among the endless sand dunes that was Hueco Mundo's surface. Dunes after dunes of white sands with barely any sign of life stretched for as far as he could see under a starless sky.


For a long time, he simply sat under the bright moon, thinking of nothing, feeling nothing, until he was approached by a peculiar being, an Arrancar. Cillian had only heard rumors of those creatures mad enough to rip their own masks off and it would appear that this one far surpassed all others in terms of madness. This Arturo Plateado had been looking for collaborators to help him in a groundbreaking experiment. Though skeptical, it had been enough to pique his interest, a considerable feat in itself, so Cillian went along with the ragtag group of Hollows who followed the man. They were no pushovers no matter how dysfunctional they were and conflicts were more than common in their ragtag group of Menos. Madness and conflict wasn't exactly a bad thing and were a welcomed break from Cillian's monotone existence.

He did the man's bidding, even going as far as setting foot in the Human Realm, the first time in centuries, to collect what the man needed. Unsurprisingly, the Arrancar turned on them, demanding that they served him unconditionally, but Cillian had expected such terms when he first agreed to join Las Noches so he complied without making much of a fuss. He did not mind serving the Arrancar as it made his life just a tad bit more interesting. Thus, he had his mask removed and joined the ranks of Las Noches' army of fledgling Arrancars as the fourteenth third-generation Arrancars.



It didn't take long for his colleagues to plot to usurp their maker's reign and for the longest time, Cillian remained on the sidelines, not offering his help nor making a move to expose their plans. Many did not like that and attempted to forcefully pry a reaction out of him. He would retaliate by ripping them apart, but nothing more and remained a neutral figure throughout their planning. When war broke out, he stayed out of it for as long as he could. It amused him to see the efforts put forth by both sides. The battles, the scheming, they were not unseen happenings in Hueco Mundo, but never had Cillian witnessed these behavior on such a large scale. However, the warring factions' patience was not eternal and both sides would eventually turn their demands into threats peppered by occasional assassination attempts that each framed the other for.

He picked the rebels' side because it was more interesting although he had nothing against their previous leader's rule. He just felt like things needed a change and that meant a change in leadership. His involvement in the war tipped the scales from the stalemate both sides were stuck in, but Cillian still held back, letting his betters wear themselves out while he stood back and merely provided the necessary support so as to not rouse suspicion. One after another, Arrancars fell, and he simply encouraged it, unblinking as those stronger then him died for what they believed in. It was thus that he secured himself the position of strongest Arrancar at the end of the Rebellion and took up the mantle of the very man he helped banish. His reign wasn't one all approved of, but all who were a match against him needed much time to recover from the gruesome war they had barely lived and were no threat to him. By the time they recovered, Cillian had become stronger already. Only four and a fledgling survived including himself.

The Arrancars were close to extinction again much to Cillian's amusement. It would appear that it was in a Hollow's nature to be destructive, even towards the things they had worked so hard to create, but it wasn't without hope. Cillian had Arturo's device and lab at his disposal and though he lacked the Arrancar's brilliant mind, what was left of Arturo's most basic notes were enough to set Cillian on the right path. It wasn't enough to allow Cillian to fully understand the tools he had at his disposal as the majority of Arturo's research was lost when his work journal was lost during the Rebellion, Cillian still managed to study what he had inherited. It took well over a century, but he succeeded, all the while recruiting Hollows into Las Noches.

He now had an army of competent Hollows at his disposal thanks to his predecessor's effort and reputation. Suffice to find what he needed to feed and transform it into an army of Arrancars. Then, Hueco Mundo would finally be ready to step onto the chessboard and participate in the never ending cycle of slaughter.

Name: Mímica Diáfana
Sealed Appearance: A metallic claw that can be worn over one's finger. It is equipped with a small blade that juts out mid-proximal phalanx so that, even when flexing his finger, a blade is still available to strike.
Release Command: Shimmer
Resurrección Appearance: [x] His horns grow longer and larger and arc upwards to frame the the sides of his face. Two sets of markings appear below his eyes. They can be ripped open to reveal two extra sets of eyes for a total of 6. Cillian also grows a tail that is as long as he is tall. It is thin and wiry, but covered completely in red scales and ends in a curved talon. His fingernails and toenails become claws imbued with an opaque, flame-like Reiryoku that matches those appearing above his shoulders. The Reiryoku is released from his body as usual, but then gathered around two focal points around which it swirls about madly before spreading out like a pair of wings made of dark blue and red flames. The wings are intangible, not even displacing air when they rotate or flap about and consume little to not Reiryoku passively. The 'flames' do not burn, either, making them appear more decorative than practical at first glance. They are in no way directly connected to Cillian's body and that it the first hint that he may control his Reiryoku at a distance with a mere thought.
Resurrección Power-Ups: The most prominent power-up one may notice is his physical strength. Cillian had always been deceptively strong for someone with such a lithe body, but in his Resurreccion state, he gains enough raw strength, both in terms of Reiatsu power and physical power, to match those of bulkier builds.
Resurrección Abilities

• La Gavota del Titiritero
  In short, this ability allows Cillian to infiltrate the body of what specially emitted Reiryoku hit, let it be living or inert things.
  
  This Reiryoku is usually released from his shoulders and condensed into visible wings, detached from Cillian's body, but always hovering at least 6 inches away from him, or from his (finger and toe) nails. A simple touch of the Reiryoku is enough to be infected, but this Reiryoku can also be transformed into projectiles, "Hilos" he calls them, in the shape of small, glowing bullets of red and blue Reiryoku when fired from nails while those that come from his wings are gathered around the two focal points above his shoulder and will take the form of 2 feet long beams. Cillian is limited to firing a single wave (22 projectiles) per post. These Hilos do not leave any physical wound and do not leave any concussive damage. It would appear as though they can do nothing more than invoking a burning sensation that will spread throughout the affected individual's body. Wind does not affect them as they are pure energy, much like how light travels except that they cannot be deflected in the same way as light and they can still be affected by gravity. One may think that they are only a distraction, meant to inflict minor pain upon those that have come into contact with them, but the truth is, it is far more that.
  
  The burning sensation is actually Cillian's Reiryoku seeping through the body of those that have come into contact with his Hilos. It is an invasion, but of the affected's Reiryoku channels and the invading Reiryoku gives Cillian remote insight of all the Reiryoku fluxes of the affected's body. In most cases, Cillian can only gather enough information to know how much energy is left and where the affected are located. Should he have infected an individual that he has studied, let it be through direct combat or faraway observations, he can go as far as predicting their next move. His predictions aren't always accurate, however, especially for movements that require minimal involvement of spiritual energy and he doesn't always have the reaction speed to make good use of his knowledge, but it still gives him an edge when fighting opponents that are close to his skill level, but faster than he.
  
  Things change drastically should a target be infected by a larger quantity of Cillian's Reiryoku, mainly a full beam or five bullets. That amount of spiritual energy will allow Cillian to manipulate how spiritual energy is channeled in the affected's body. This may sound mundane at first, but it will greatly cripple those whose fighting style heavily relies on their fine control of their spiritual energy. Kido spells or Ceros may be disrupted, physical blows may also be weakened just by reducing the amount of spiritual energy being released in the attacking limb. Should this be done, all of the injected spiritual energy will be consumed and the target will see itself purged of all influences.
  
  The amount of influence Cillian has depends on the percentage of Reiryoku his Hilos represent in the affected's body. The stronger the opponent, the harder it is for him to control them. In those cases, this ability will mainly serve as a way to push his opponents to consume spiritual energy and tire themselves out while trying to produce more Reiryoku to resist him. On weaker individuals, however, Cillian can literally take over their body and have minimal control over their body movements.
  
  In the case of inanimate objects being hit by these, particularly those that do not channel Reiryoku, all Cillian can do with them is to sense spiritual signatures in close proximity, 2-3 meters, of the affected objects.
  
• Medianoche
  For this ability to be be activated, Cillian must first keep a single target within his line of sight for 2 posts. Any techniques the target had used during those 2 posts will be taken from them on Cillian's 3rd post. For said post and the next 3 posts (a total of 4 posts), Cillian will be able to use those techniques while the target will not. Cillian has 3 pairs of eyes in his released states, each capable of mimicking and robbing the techniques of a single target for a total of 3 targets. After each use of this ability, the eyes that were used will be blind for 3 posts.
  
  If his opponent was injected with his Hilos through the Gavota del Titiritero ability, this ability takes a whole different turn. Instead of robbing the targets of their abilities, Cillian becomes them physically. He will lack the knowledge and the experience, but what they can do, so can he and he may go as far as taking on their appearance. Should he be mimicking more than one individual, he will need to change his appearance based on whose techniques and abilities he is using at the time. It should be noted that he may have the abilities and techniques of those he's mimicked, but he is still limited by what he knows of them. During the whole time he has taken the appearance of another individual, he will lose all of his own powers, including Reiatsu level (Except if he is in his Segunda Etapa state. Only then can he keep his Hierro, physical strength and Spiritual Pressure levels). It is as though he had become them for a short time (4 posts) and once he's taken on their identity, he cannot switch back to himself until time's up. Another peculiarity about this ability is that, along with all those abilities and powers, it comes with a whole emotional and mental baggage. What the target is feeling and their mental state will be mirrored in Cillian.

Segunda Etapa Status: Achieved
Segunda Etapa Name: Mímica Rugiente
Segunda Etapa Appearance: [x]Unlike many Arrancars, Cillian gains in size when he reaches this stage, growing as tall as a Menos Grande at the expense of his speed and agility. Nevertheless, it is compensated by a spike in durability and strength as he becomes a veritable behemoth of a reptile with a layer of crystal-like scales that is more than a match for any moderate Bankai zanpakuto strikes when combined with his Hierro. Veritable wings shaped like Reiryoku-made leaves will sprout from his back to replace the set he had in his Resurreccion. All six of his eyes are now permanently visible and glowing red while two extra sets of horns sprout from his head. Mandibles surround his jaws, now equipped with 6 feet-long fangs. Though his skin appears to be perfectly uniform, gigantic maws may form on his shoulders, knees and one particularly large one can form on his stomach, each capable of snapping shut at will and releasing Ceros. All body cavities are not covered in the crystal scales, rendering them rather vulnerable to attacks.
Segunda Etapa Power-Ups Physical strength and Reiatsu levels take a leap and so does Cillian's Hierro strength. Unfortunately, he loses in terms of speed and agility due to the large body his normal Segunda Etapa's form.
Segunda Etapa Abilities:

• El Espejo [Passive]
  This ability reflects all blows coming at him based on the amount of Reiryoku, energy, pressure and momentum behind them. Should the amounts be large and positive, akin to a punch from a non spiritual being or carry enough heat to cause second degree burns, this ability will reflect them. This implies that small, slow and light touches will still connect. Also, as far as thermodynamics are involved, ice has a negative amount of energy as it saps it instead of emitting them. The attacks will be stopped at a range of 2 inches from his skin, all speed and momentum suddenly dropping to zero. They will be sent back with the exact same properties (momentum, energy, etc.) it had been sent with, only opposite so the numbers will be increasing instead of decreasing as the attacks will be going in the inverse direction. This ability is invisible, leaving no traces in the air, but may only stop 1 blow at a time. Dealing multiple blows simultaneously will only have the one with the most Reiryoku, pressure or momentum, the one that would potentially deal the most damage, reflected while the others will land without any resistance. Attacks covering a large area of contact such as a hammer bash will be counted as 1 blow. This only applies to the outer layer of his skin. In addition to that, once a blow has gone past the 2 inch range and is closer to Cillian, it will no longer be reflected even if it suddenly increases momentum unless connected to something farther than 2 inch of Cillian.
  
• Crías
  From the large mouth that may appear where his stomach is located, Cillian may pour out smaller copies of himself. Though they lack sturdiness and power, they are quick and agile. These spawns have a peculiar ability: After 5 posts, they will shapeshift into the first being with spiritual energy they meet, imitating their abilities and skills, but not their Reiatsu power. They have the power of a lieutenant level Shinigami or an Arrancar Fraccion and remain so even after their metamorphosis. Cillian may control them mentally to do his deeds, but they are mostly driven by pure combative instincts and bloodlust so only simple commands may be properly registered and understood. These critters do not have any other abilities however, they cannot even fire Ceros or Balas and need to rely on their physical abilities for combat until they may shapeshift. He is limited to 10 spawns that are around 6 feet tall at a time. He will need a 10 posts cooldown afterwards to be able to summon another 10. 2 posts after the critters have shapeshifted, they will simply break down into a pile of red tinted crystals.
  
• De las Cenizas a las Cenizas
  This ability is a last resort and turns Cillian's body as soft and malleable as goo so that his flesh may turn into tendrils to latch at whoever was unfortunate enough to be right next to him at the moment. In the next post, his body will implode, pulling what it had caught and everything within a radius of 150 meters towards the center of the implosion, crushing them should they not manage to break free or have exceptionally sturdy bodies and reiatsu levels. Once the implosion is over, a weaker explosion will follow, at this point, his physical body will be reduced to a small pile of crystal infused with what is left of his Reiryoku. From it, a tiny, palm-sized version of his Segunda Etapa body will rise, but it will have no power at all. 20 posts will be needed for him to fully recover.
