[PRP] The Kind Hearted (Mzuka x Ailith)

Ailith was alone once again. It always seemed as if she was alone. She enjoyed running into others though and meeting new people it always gave her a pleasant feeling after. She seemed to get the same feeling after hunting. It was a sense of pride in what she had accomplished.

Talking to others is that something you can call an accomplishment? Ailith did. She stood by a tall tree. She thought that it might have been one of the biggest trees she had ever seen. She watched as the wind blew leaves off of the tree and she began thinking to herself. She wasn’t thinking of anything important just pointless thoughts that had no meaning. She found those to be the most valuable.

Ailith was thinking about if she was born different. If she was born a different species some things would be easier and some things would be hard. It would be easier for her to climb the tree but it could be harder to catch food. After the endless debate she had against herself inside her mind she decided that she was happy being able to be a lion and wouldn’t ask for anything else.

She looked up focusing on something she saw in the distance. It was another animal. It looked as if it was a lion or a leopard. She wasn’t sure but she could tell that he seemed kind. She didn’t know why she knew she just felt it. Then again she always thought that everyone seemed kind. One day that positive thinking would get her hurt.

Today might very well be that day for Ailith.

Mzuka was still feeling at a loss. Though now he had a direction in his life, a place where he would eventually wander to. That hybrid pride he had been near, it seemed like he could probably fit in there nicely.

After having left where the bloodletters used to be the leopon began retracing his steps. A day, two, three later and still here he was, walking onwards towards a pride he could only hope would let a sneak thief like him in.

Stopping for a break his silver eyes danced around the area. They stopped on a purplish black creature in the distance. Was that... A lion? He frowned, he disliked lions highly. Particularly the female kind that didn't spout manes.

Deciding to break the silence between the two he approached first "Hello." His tone was serious, a little bitter and mistrusting.

Ailith found it unusual to have someone start a conversation with her. She always found that she was the one who would always speak first. She had a smile on her face.

She began to believe that her previous accusation was true, that this animal was kind. ”Hi.” She responded a happy tone in her voice.

”What are you doing around here?” She continued the conversation still thrilled that she was near another lion? She questioned herself. Was he a lion or was he a leopard. She wanted to ask but she didn’t want to be rude. So she didn’t say anything for now.

She just continued to patiently wait for his response to the question. She thought he was taking a while when in actuality it had only been close to a second. She wasn’t the most patient creature on the planet.

Mzuka's response was slow to emerge from his lips. He had been fascinated staring at the raven's skull that clung to this lioness' neck. The scars along her eyes, that issued to warn someone had tried to blind her in the past. Clearly, they had not succeeded.

"...Travelling." He was wary of the lioness. He would have to be a little nice to her at best or else he feared she'd scratch his own eyes out. That was something he wasn't particularly fond of having happen.

Yet despite the tension in his voice Mzuka found his eyes still drawn to her jewelry. His thieving antics preying upon it so that he may have it instead. 'No.' He told himself. He was trying to change after all.

"And you?" He asked her. "What are you doing around here?"
