Name: Shiro Schwarz. (Shiro is Japanese for white and, Schwarz is a common German last name meaning black)

Race:Quincy

Appearance: Shiro has light brown hair that no amount of combing will make neat. To avoid it becoming a complete mess he keeps it short. His eyes are a pale green. He is terribly nearsighted so he wears a pair of black glasses to compensate. (His sight is so bad it affects his aim.) In an effort to appear older that he is he wears white button up shirts and gray or black suits. He only owns one tie that he wears daily. It is blue as a concession to his Quincy heritage. Another advantage of wearing suits is to hide the many scars his uncle’s abuse caused. There are so many burn scars that Shiro never bothered to count them. His uncle was sober enough to carve the word “WORTHLESS” over Shiro’s left collarbone in such a manner that Shiro can read it in the mirror. On his back, going from the bottom of his left shoulder bone to his right waist, is a long jagged scar created by a beer bottle. Shiro is almost always accompanied by Agate, a white cat with brown stripes. His kindness is visable.

Occupation: Shiro is a college student at a private school with small class sizes. He also works part time at a bookstore and, is an intern at a veterinary clinic.

Affiliation: Shiro is a Sternritter in the Wandenreich.

Fears: Shiro fears failure. It it’s so bad that if there is even the possibility of failure he will not engage. He also has severe claustrophobia. If the space is too small or if there are too many people for a given area he starts to hyperventilate. Once this starts it is almost impossible to fend off until the episode has passed.

Goals:Shiro wants to be a veterinarian. He also has a minor goal of finding his mother’s engagement ring but, he does not have much hope that he will.

Personality: Shiro is a shy quiet boy. He doesn’t like to engage in any social interactions at all. He is usually seen with an injured animal he is nursing back to health. Strays follow him around for the handouts that are sure to come. He wants to be a veterinarian. When it comes to battle, or any challenge, he faces it with determination. Most people see him as reserved and kind. Certain things had not occurred to him so; he doesn’t realize when someone is flirting with him. On particular stray stayed with him. This is Agate, a brown and white female cat. Agate is possessive and will hiss at one that does flirt with her human. You would think that this would clue him in but, it doesn’t. When it comes to Luka Fredriks, his half-brother, Shiro does his best to be family. However he pulls slightly away from Luka when things become intense he pulls slightly back due to the fact that Shiro is used to his family dying and leaving him alone or, beating him for failure.

History: Shiro’s mother, an Japanese woman, died from blood loss during childbirth. This was three months before Shiro’s due date. He was so tiny that he spent the first four months of his life in the ICU. His father, a German man, came to see him every day. He cherished the boy because he was his son and, because this was the person his beloved wife was willing to sacrifice herself for. The first five years of Shiro’s life were spent in the German countryside with his beloved father. Then his father lost the battle to cancer. Shiro’s only living relative was his uncle, his mother’s brother, in Japan. The boy was shipped to Japan with his mother’s engagement ring around his neck and, his father’s journal in his arms.
xxxxxHis uncle was a drunk. As Shiro had just started school that gave the older man the perfect ammunition. If the boy’s performance was less than perfect the uncle beat his nephew during a drunken rage. Once Shiro had a small role in a school play. The boy stuttered over one of his three lines. The bruises did not heal for a week. Over the years the reasons for the beatings became vaguer as the frequency of the beating increased. His uncle took Shiro’s mother’s ring to pay for more alcohol and his father’s journal out of spite. At times his uncle would lock him into a closet and leave him there for hours, days, even weeks. Finally when Shiro entered high school he had enough. He stole back his father’s journal and ran.
xxxxxShiro had been seeing ghost or spirits since he was eight. Some looked like people; others looked like monsters. He also gained a sense of power in the air; like intense static electricity. By the time he was nine he developed the ability to shape this strange static electricity into a marble sized orbs that he could use to fight the monsters.
xxxxxShiro read his father’s journal and, it answers his questions. It explained about Hollows and, Pluses and, it spoke of Quincys. Quincys were beings with the ability to manipulate Reiatsu, the strange static electricity, into weapons to destroy Hollows. It spoke of Shinagami and wars and, the Wandenreich. It answered all of Shiro’s questions.
xxxxxHowever the part that brought Shiro the most comfort and, gave him strength was the story of his father’s defiance of the Wandenreich. Except it wasn’t a story of defiance to Shiro. As much as it pained his teenage boy sensibilities it was the most beautiful love story Shiro had ever known. But perhaps he was biased, since it was his parents’ story.
xxxxxThe Wandenreich forbade Quincys from marrying anyone outside of their ranks. However when George Fredricks meet Mika Shouma George could not resist her. Over the course of six months the two feel in love. At the end of the first six months they were ready to take a leap of faith or, maybe it was love. They changed their names to Paul and Sachi Schwarz. They had two glorious years, according to Paul’s journal two of the best six years of his life. Then Shiro came, those were years three though six. The journal was written a year before Paul’s death Shiro could only assume that the last year would have been year seven of the best years of his father’s life. If Paul could be asked he would confirm this.
xxxxxShiro spent his high school years learning how to control his Quincy powers. He was hit and miss at times due to the fact that he only had his father’s written descriptions to teach him. However teaching himself gave him strength. To Shiro’s eternal frustration he could never shape the Reiatsu into a bow like his father’s journal said Quincys did. His constructs were always marble sized orbs. He attributed the discrepancy to the fact that he was only half Quincy
xxxxxIn his third year of high school the Wandenreich found him and, offered him a position. Shiro accepted for two reasons. One: they were his father’s family, of a sort. Two: they had Seele Schneider, something he wanted to practice with.
xxxxxShiro also meet Luka Fredricks, his half-brother from the marriage that the Wandenreich had forced his father into. Shiro was surprised by this his father’s journal made no mention of having other son. That did not change the fact that Shiro looked forward getting to know his older brother better.
xxxxxHe is now in his third year of college, studying to be a veterinarian. He is as loyal to the Wandenreich as can be. However if he found that one special someone, like his father did, he would leave, like his father did. Shiro rather suspects that it might become a family tradition.

Meaning: Healer

Abilities
-Red Marble: This is Shiro’s primary ability. As the name indicates Shiro creates red Marbles. These Marbles contain a liquid that when released into the body can mend injuries of sickness. The trick is that Shiro has to know what the injury or sickness is. He also has to know how to fix it. For example; he understands the basics of chemotherapy so he could send a Marble into a cancer patient to replicate chemotherapy. However since a true cure has not been discovered Shiro cannot heal the patient. He can accelerate the healing of something like a broken bone since her understands how the bone knits back together. This does not restore energy.
- Green Marble: This is Shiro’s secondary ability and is much simpler. The green Marbles contain a gas that acts much like caffeine. It allows the target with next to no energy to fight and move like they are full of energy. The burst of energy last for five posts. After five posts the target collapses due to the fact that they are completely drained. It’s like the crash after a sugar rush. This does not heal injuries.

I’m not sure if he should be the Chemist or the Healer. Also you need to read the whole thing because reading only pieces will confuse you.

Either Yaroki or Feiyimei, I guess. Dash Dancer is a possibility, I suppose, but she isn't exactly active.

So I fixed it so he is now the Healer. What else do I need to do in order to get him to the Awaiting Approval stage.
