Moving into a 'dorm' room was like moving into a tiny one room apartment that you knew would later be shared and be like a nightmare. Only here it was singles, but communial everything else. As far as Elio was considered, it still sucked, and he was deeply regretting his life choices on the matter.
Still, setting his dufflebag on his bed, (which smelled like dust and mildew he noted, setting his mind to replace it and wash it as soon as possible), the ex-artist began to rummage around for his travel kit. He'd brought what he considered needed, and that had included a few small grooming items that were less of a need than a luxury. Scented shaving gel being one such item. He liked having baby smooth skin and the stubble growing from his recent nap wasn't something that was sitting well with him.
"God damn it." He couldn't find it. Dumping out his bag onto the bed he cursed again as slowly he realized he might have forgotten to pack it entirely.

Wandering, that's what Lilac had been doing when she found herself on the lower numbers of the basement. Not that it was much of a concern considering she had nowhere else to be at the moment and only planned on making her way back to her dorm. Pulling a long pink single ponytail over her shoulder she began to whistle to herself as she roamed back towards her room.
Maybe she should try to do more training today, or go look on the beach again she considered her options outside of visiting Harland as she roamed.

He was left with no other option. He had to ask for assistance. Mostly because he had no idea if the bathrooms HAD communal soap, and if so, he was pretty sure he wanted no part of said soap. The sound of another person in the open hall had him peeking out his door- and then grinning as he noticed it was a girl. She was probably American but at this point he didn't even care. He just wanted to be able to take a shower. "Excuse me- ah, miss?" Was that the right term? Or was it lady? Damn him for not ever taking an actual course in English. "Um- do you have time?"

At the call she turned on her heels happily and gave a smile to the man. Oh another looker, she wasn't sold that this wasn't an island of ridiculously good looking misfits instead of monster hunters. A wave was given before she stared towards him, "hello, of course..do you need some help?"
Maybe he was new?
She was still new herself but thanks to Harland she could at least help the guy around a little bit. Unless, he was wanting something else, her brain flickered to the mature talk of the hunters twitter. Pausing short of him in hesitance she rose a brow but continued a friendly grin. Just what was he up to her suspicious side had to wonder.

Elio was sold on the island being full of weirdos and possibly being a really bad acid trip induced coma. That was what he thought. Still, this all being a bad trip aside, he did need to get things in order, including personal hygiene. "Need help." He forgot to include the 'I'. "Do you have body wash?" He blushed, embarrassed. "No soap, and rather no use what is in men's showers." Stopping he held out his hand. "Elio Ferrari."

If this wasn't a prime example of English as a second language she didn't know what was. Smiling gentler she nodded to the man as he spoke, trying not to giggle since it would be horribly rude given the subject. Body wash or soap hm, Lilac's brow wrinkled in thought, her slim peachy hand coming up to rub a smooth slender chin. She didn't have body wash but- lightning stuck and she grinned widely enough that her cheeks pushed high and gave a childish crinkle near her eyes.
"I have just what you need!" For the moment she chose not to comment on the blush, even if it was adorable men had their pride she knew that. Regardless she hoped he would be fine with the soap she had recently found on the beach, it was new- er- newish as in she hadn't used it. Seeing the extend of hand she giggled now, reaching out and giving a firm shake to the mans hand, her hair bouncing away from her shoulder as she did.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Elio Ferrari. I'm Lilac Larkspur, but you can just call me Lilac." Smiling happily she pointed towards the way to get to the higher levels of the basement and offered, "if you come with me, I'll take you to my room and get you that soap! What do you say?"
