Mane flying against the howling winds, the mare stood, watching over her small, but awakening empire, if one could say. Dressed with her accessories, one would not find this mare to be one of common blood. She was filled with royalty - not the blueblooded kind of the royal family, but the royalty of a long lost blood. She lived in this settlement of land throughout her entire life, guarding the precious memories that she once had. Long gone her family was, for she was the only one left, or that was what she taught herself to believe.
Every morning, it would be the same. Rise before the sun, give her infamous smile, and watch as her 'goddess' rose. Alectrona. That was the mare's name, and she never questioned it, though she did sometimes wonder why there was only one part to the name. Not like it really mattered to her now that she was older.
Walking over the the lakes of Sandar, the mare stopped to take a morning drink by the waters, only to find herself admiring her beauty. Not that from the outside, but the one in the inside. Bright, wise, golden. She was regal, and seeing another face alongside hers in the lake caused a bit of a surprise, allowing for the mare to slip into the waters.
"My, my. It seems I have company today." she said, quickly leaping out of the water. Damp her hair was, but she did not care. It was a while since there was another soul moving around the area. "My apologizes. It's just that I have not seen another since the Great War."
