Fai hated that she kept walking past the bridal shop.
She'd walk there from her school to home, stopping at some point to stare at the dresses and wonder what it'd be like to wear them.
The next day, she'd find herself in front of the shop again, this time running errands. Her fingers gently brushed against the window.
The day after, On her way to work, she stopped again, stepping up to the door and actually going inside. She had no idea why she was in here, she was married to Magiore in secret, and it wasn't like she could just buy a dress and wedding things for a wedding that was only theirs.
Her gaze wandered around, before falling on a very friendly face. "Eve!" Fai rushed over, threading through the displays. "Wow, it's been a long time, Are you shopping in here?" A ping of jealousy for Eve if the woman managed to snag someone and marry them. At least Eve...also known as Flora would be able to do so. It wasn't like Flora was marrying a Negaverse agent right? Right.

On the contrary, Eve Summers would rather die than get married.
It was strange, of course, when she was a wedding planner, and a pretty decent one at that. But her own personal view on commitment didn't mean that she was always help a happy couple out, and help them create the day of their dreams. And in this bleak present with the Negaverse gaining everyone's trust and turning the public against them, it was the one remaining small spark of happiness she had to hold on to.
Today, she was sifting through racks, attempting to sort out some dresses she thought her client would like based on the description she had given her so far. Wait, did someone just call her-- "Fai!" She greeted with a bright smile. "Oh no, not for myself." Though Eve did sometimes wonder what she would look like if she tried on some of the nicer dresses, it was something she did not foresee in her life. "Are you? I can help! I frequent this store a lot with my clients."

"Hi, Hello!" She greeted again, "Oh no? That's a shame, I was wondering what handsome stud would've caught your eye enough to thing of some wedding bells." Fai constantly forgot that Eve wasn't the same as her, but more of a independent woman. Not a bad thing, she respected Eve for it.
"Are you here today for a client?" She brought up her hand, cupping her cheek. "I would like too, but I think it's a little troublesome with...the setting around here." Meaning the Negaverse. Also she couldn't...marry marry Magiore, it might set off bells for the couple to any agent who thought them acting..'funny'.
"I just keep walking by and admiring all the dresses and decorations. I thought it'd be good if I just came in and got a fee for it." She laughed, "Maybe you can help me a look at a few dresses just because?"

"Not a chance~" Eve laughed, eyes crinkling in amusement. "Unless maybe if he's a heir to a well-to-do family and owns several mansions and can let me live in luxury for the rest of my life~" As averse Eve was to marriage, hey, if someone could offer her that sort of financial stability, maybe, just maybe...?
"Narrowing some dresses down before she comes to try them on, yeah." Though Eve did like advising brides to try on different styles just to see for sure what would look best on them. "It is. I would say I'm surprised I still have a job, but hey, people will always want to get married, I guess..." It wasn't that Eve was complaining; it was a ray of sunshine for her in this otherwise grim situation and gave her something to concentrate on.
"Has the boyfriend proposed?" She raised an eyebrow as she rifled through the racks. "If not, we should totally take photos and you could show it to him and go all, hey look at this, hint hint. Oh, and any style in particular you might like? "

Fai smiled at Eve. She had heirs to rich fantastic families Eve. But none of the guys she honestly thought about would ever be good enough for Eve, in her general opinion. But Fai was also snobby, and preferred her friend to be free to do as she wished. If she wanted love, She would like to think Eve would find it.
"I always wonder what makes a bride decide on one dress when there is so many to choose from, but it's that feeling I guess?" She laughed a little, "The knowing of the 'one'." She didn't understand it but did at the same time and fingered another dress lightly.
"Well, for normal people, they've adjusted to this life already. It only seems like the one with powered lives are the one to suffer." Fai let her hand drop and looked over at Eve. "He's proposed..." She fingered the ring on her hand. her tone was more drawn in, a little more light. "We're married I suppose in a sense. Eloped is the word? It's a secret so things like weddings and such, those aren't for me either." She eased around the rack, drawing out a strapless white gown. "Is your bride the strapless type?"
