-어/아요: polite ending form
Used usually for people you just met around your age and are not yet intimate to use intimate form (-어/아).
-(으)세요: honorific form
Used usually for people older than you or of higher status such as teachers, parents and etc. While using honorific form, you also have to memorize another set of words that correspond with this form. For example: 있다 ---> 계시다.
