Hehehe. Cat-dog, Arnold and Chuckie. The cartoons of my youth. :3 I loved those shows. I have even more respect for Rugrats now because I learned recently the show creators were big fans of Doctor Who. They put Doctor Who references in the show. biggrin Of course as a kid I never would have noticed because I didn't get into it until I was about 22. I'll get a few pics..
Daleks in the background :3
Tommy and his screwdriver which he brings everywhere.

I swear there were more but just not finding it.
xd I never got into Doctor Who. Oddly, ive been seeing it advertised everywhere now a days.
How popular is it? On a scale of 1 - 10.
10 being everyone watches it and it will never go off the air, and 1 being selective few watch it and it's probably most popular over seas.

Cinderful
I'm gonna go with.. a 2. Haha. The only reason I ever decided to watch it was my ex who is Scottish recommended it to me. Sad as it is it made me not miss him so much when I watched it because of all the accents that sounded like his or his family. xD In the UK it plays on basic television, so it is much more popular there. Think on that scale Doctor Who would be a 9 over there. Pretty much everyone loves it. Over here though, it's a nerd show, haha. Only people nerdy like me seem to like it. I LOVE the show so much. <3 The first few episodes are a bit cheesy, the first season of the remake had a low budget. When people refer to Doctor Who they typically mean the new series. It's in color. It actually starts off on the 9th reincarnation of the Doctor. The old show.. the black and white one, is -kind of- terrible. I've only seen a few episodes of it. It's now called "Classic Doctor Who" and the new one is just Doctor Who. I recommend watching the new first, and if you love it you may enjoy the old ones too. I plan on watching them all eventually.
I used to watch CatDog all the time. It was one of my favorites. Along with Courage the Cowardly Dog, the original Scooby-Doo, and so much more. I did notice about Rugrats and the Doctor Who stuff. xD Also, for the record, most people call the original Doctor Who just "Classic Who". Classic Who obviously starts with One and goes through Eight and even the War Doctor I believe. It starts off in black and white, but I do believe it comes in color about half way through. Doctor Who starts with Nine, played by Christopher Eccleston, then goes to Ten, played by David Tennent, then Eleven, played by Matt Smith. I started on Eleven, but would recommend starting with Nine. They all have strange and different personalities, each one bringing a part of themselves forward into the next incarnation. However, when they reincarnate, prepare to cry...I can't bare to watch Eleven's reincarnation into Twelve. I saw part of it, and it just tore me apart. Also, there's a movie that's set somewhere in Eleven's time. It was before he reincarnated though. It's called Day of the Doctor. It's really good. It brought back Ten, obviously had Eleven, and even brought in the War Doctor. It talks about what happened, why War isn't called by a number, and everything. I do highly recommend it. However, if you're like Nine and dislike paradoxes, don't watch it. xD It's a massive paradox, just like Eleven is a massive paradox, especially in the two part season finale of the first season he did. The one with the Pandorica...anyway, I'm rambling. Sorry.

eek Even before watching it, this show confuses me. xd You sure know your stuff though.
I still reminisce about Hey Arnold! and commend it on how cultural it is. I learned so much about New York inner city life through that show. And I love jazz, so that was another plus.
I tend to miss Recess a lot as well, especially when I get an itch to play Tetherball. Does that pole exist anywhere? I think I'm going to have one erected in my backyard when I settle into a house.
I'm familiar with every show listed. You're among peers here, dear. 3nodding

CatDog was one of those shows I always watched when it was on, same with Rugrats. Then there was Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy (even though thinking back now it was a very adult show), even real life shows like All That and Roundhouse...
I think my favorite 90's cartoon of all time was this though:
They have it on Netflix and I've been watching, haha.

I never understood Rocko's modern life sweatdrop I think as a kid, a lot of it went over my head.
Bet if I watched it now, a lightbulb would go off 3nodding
