The more restrictive the Negaverse was becoming, the more Valhalla found himself taking risks. He had to. While he wasn’t useful in fighting, he could at least help the Resistance by providing them with information and funds.

Tonight was especially risky, as he was meeting up with an unlikely ally, and one he knew to be especially cautious around due to his alignment. General King Benitoite, loyal to the Negaverse, despite it not being entirely loyal to him. Valhalla had been surprised, having expected needing to defend himself when Benitoite first approached him, but he’d been shocked to find out he wanted to help the Resistance instead.

Valhalla was still wary, but so far everything Benitoite told him had been beneficial to the resistance. He dared not tell others where he got his information from, because it was doubtful they would trust information from a Negaverse officer, much less a General King. But Valhalla thought this might be the best thing that has happened for the Resistance.

Reaching the agreed destination, Valhalla ripped off a small, pre-addressed piece of paper from a notebook he kept with him, pressing his signet ring to the surface. Benitoite would receive it and know the coast was clear to approach. For now, they kept their meetings far from the city, not daring to let anyone realize they might be conspiring with each other.

It was a risk and he knew it, how could he not, he'd seen what had happened to others who were thought to be traitors - not even proven to be so. It wasn't pretty. If he was caught he wasn't the sort to lie, he was horrid at it, so he knew his fate would be anything but good. Those he worked with would show him no kindness and he could only hope his boyfriend could get away, to somewhere safe, before he was taken in as well. He hated risking himself and his partner but he had little choice in the matter. The direction things had taken was a far cry from what he'd signed up for. He had not signed up for a world straight out of George Orwell's books, and he wouldn't be surprised if hunger games actually started up one day. It was very far from what he'd signed up for and he had needed to take action in order to right the wrongs, even if it took a long time for the wrongs to be righted.

He had gone over a long list of senshi and knights he knew, from previous encounters and fights, and all seemed too biased to their side and not so very neutral - all but two. Acrucis he could have gone to but she was ill and weak, as far as he was concerned, and so she had been crossed off the mental check list. That had left one - a knight. Valhalla had been hunted down one night and approached by a General King with raised hands in surrender before the General King had launched into his offer to the other. He wasn't betraying his side, in his mind, the Negaverse had betray him and betray the original purpose of the Negaverse; if that was really the original purpose.

Since that night he had been feeding him little bits of information, having explained that he could not give him more than he did, it would be a risk to them both and to others if more information was passed on for the resistance to put to use.

Tonight was another night that he was due to meet the knight and pass on some information. Hidden within the folds of his coat was a notebook filled with pages of his neat, slightly slanted, hand writing that was a cross between script and the normal writing style. Standing hidden in the shadows he waited for the note that would soon arrive to let him know the coast was clear, he didn't want to risk being caught passing on information so waited, every time, for the others note to let him know he was safe to teleport him.

As the note arrived the General King focused on where he wanted to be and a moment later was gone from the alleyway. When he did open his eyes next he stood in his usual spot, not but two feet from the other. The notebook held tightly against his bare side with his coat covering the notebooks presence. "Valhalla."
