This is an invitation only RP event. Participants are selected from the list of volunteers wishing to be more active in the shop and/or to make some new friends. Events range from meta-centric to just RPs promoting players to interact with each other and build character relationships. These are mini-ORPs, in a sense, and even those that seem trivial in the grand scheme of things might be more than meets the eye...
To be added to this list for future events, PM Hopefolly.
This event is for two participants.
Character requirements:
Character 1: Right place, right (wrong?) time.
Character 2: A willingness to help someone in obvious distress despite a relatively unclear situation at hand.
Beyond this, characters are free to be anything and are encouraged to act completely IC, including but not limited to attacking NPCs (the animals played by Hope), walking away abruptly, and so on. If your event ends up being too short, you will be given another, so fear not.
This thread is locked and this event will not be open until September.

The Situation:
Your characters have found themselves in the forest roughly a mile away from the Wapishi settlement in Quadrant 4, though they are unaware of their exact distance from the two-leggers and perhaps oblivious they're there at all.
One of you was simply ambling through the forest when you felt a sharp pain in your leg. This strange thing that ensnares your right back leg is like a vine with thorns on it, only it's thinner and digs deeper into your skin. It seems lifeless and it's colored a dull black, not at all like a plant.
The other one of you had been beckoned over to help free the distressed wolf, but when you were a mere few feet away, something snagged you too. This strange thing grew tighter around your left back leg the more you struggled, and now it's embedded, meaning you're also trapped.
It could be one of you knows of the two-legged hunters and that this is one of their traps. Maybe you're aware that if you don't escape, you might become prey yourselves. Neither of you can gnaw these offending "vines" off because they are so prickly that they cut your mouth if you attempt to bite down on them.
There is no one else around, no matter how loud or long you shout for help, if indeed you try to call for help at all.
Just a second ago, though, one of you noticed a crow sitting idly on a branch, staring down at you. His feathery shoulders rumble as though he's laughing at your misfortune.
