Rosangela had decided that she couldn't subject Myth to having to be around her family, not when humans made him so uneasy. She loved Myth too much to do that to him, so she had made a plan that they would meet in neutral territory, maybe they could find a home for themselves there. Yes, she loved her family, but she also did not want Myth to be uncomfortable. So she knew this spot was close enough to home, but also far enough that Myth would be okay. She pawed at the ground, her eyes scanning for Myth, hoping he would be here soon. It seemed like an eternity since they had confessed their feelings for each other and that was the last she had really seen him. She was so eager to see him, she didn't know if she could contain her excitement at seeing him again.

Myth wandered along, finding his way to the place his Rose had described, while also keeping his eyes out for the herd Ruin had asked him to. While he wasn't too worried about finding them, as he wasn't "employed' by the flaming demon anymore, he still wanted to keep off of the male's radar and if that included still working for him occasionally, then he would do it. However, and perhaps it was luck for the herd, he found his desert Rose before he found the herd and he quickly made his way through the thicket to her, watching her green form get brighter and brighter as he approached. "My Rose." He said softly as he approached, nuzzling her neck when he got close enough.

Rosangela's ears perked up when she heard someone approaching, wanting to make sure it was not an enemy. When Myth's form came into view and she heard him call her his rose, her heart hammered in her chest. She felt him nuzzle her neck and she reached over to nuzzle him with her own muzzle. She was so glad to see him again.
"Oh Myth, my love, it is so good to see you. I was afraid you wouldn't be able to make it,"she admitted.

Myth tilted his head at the female whom he had met near her own death before he nursed her back and struggled to keep her in his life. He would never not come for her. "I will always come for you." He said softly. "Shall the day that comes that I do not appear for you, I wish to be a dead and rotting corpse with the dead and rotting corpses of those that would go against you or your family surrounding me." he answered softly.

Rosangela breath caught in her throat with what he said, Myth always had such a way with words. It made her feel better that he would always come to her, no matter what. She reached over and rubbed her head against his, letting him know she appreciated what he said.
"Thank you, for always going to be there for me. Oh and I was thinking...what if we make a place for ourselves here? That way we are close enough to my family, but far enough that you will not have to be so..nervous,"she suggested.

Myth was silent as they bumped heads, and even quieter as his Rose spoke, speaking of them settling in this area. He looked around, his indigo eyes taking in the little pond to the side and the nice little shady patch which would be good for any future foals, if any. He then judged the distance between them and the Southern Army and their proximity to her family and the human villages near by. "I will still have to travel and freelance in the south... my trips may be few days in between but you are close enough to your family to be safe while I am gone..." He looked around again. "It is a good place.

Rosangela waited as he looked around the area, she knew he had to get a chance to think things through. She had found this place awhile ago and the look of it had caught her eye. No, it was not like the stables back at Lady Deanna's, but it was still a good enough place to be and to raise a potential family. When Myth finally spoke, a gentle smile came to her lips. She had known he would still have to do things in the South, but that was part of who he was.
"That's fine about your trips, my dear storyteller. If needs be, I will go stay with my mother, if it will make you feel better when you have to leave for those. But from your words, I take it you like it?"she asked cautiously.

Myth smiled at his Rose and gave a curt nod."I like it enough for a place for you and me." He said softly as he led her to the pond and settled down, waiting for her to join him so he could groom her hair for comfort, as he usually did when stressed and further north than he liked to be.

Rosangela's smile became even brighter when he said he liked it well enough. She walked with him over towards the pond, before she laid down beside him and nestled next to him.
"Good, then this is where we will make our home. And one day, hopefully we will be blessed with little ones of our own. By then, Mama should be more than used to being a grandmother,"she laughed lightly. When Haides had children, Serenity had joked that she was too young to be a grandmother.

Myth nodded his head, watching his mate brighten considerably. He tilted his head as he though about her and him and their relationship which had spawned out of him being nice to someone for the first time in forever... He wondered what his father and brothers would think of this. But first things first... My Desert Rose...there is but one thing we have forgotten..." He said softly as he approached her again. "Will you be my lifemate? Until the Isle bursts off into a million pieces and is no more?"

Rosangela stayed close to him, thinking of how they had gotten to this point herself. She couldn't believe this relationship between the two of them had started out with her being attacked and found by him. He had essentially brought her back to life and took really good care of her. Without him, she would have probably died out there, but instead she found someone very special.
When he spoke again, her eyes seemed to light up at what he asked her. Had he really just asked her to be his lifemate or had she been hearing things? No, there was no denying the question he just posed to her. She reached over and nuzzled the side of his muzzle, nodding her head.
"Yes, I will be your lifemate, for as long as we both have the Isle to walk on. I wouldn't want anyone else, but by wonderful storyteller,"she smiled.

Myth grinned and moved to nuzzle her neck, happiness bursting like a million ripe berries in his chest. He didn't care what his brothers would say, so long as she was in his life, alive, and well.. and his. He watched her with his indigo eyes, thinking that now was probably the time to introduce her to his dad.. He was sure Grimm Fate would be ecstatically happy for his first son.

Rosangela smiled and closed her eyes a moment as he nuzzled her neck, it felt so good to her. When she opened her eyes again, she rested her head against him, feeling so wonderful right now. She had a soulmate, someone to be with until death took one from the other. She never thought it would happen, but now that it had, she was thrilled. She looked over to him a moment and saw a thoughtful look in his eyes, causing her to tilt her head.
"Penny for your thoughts, love?"she asked.
