 Carna was elated! Finally a chance to prove herself to her god, Corrupter, and make him proud. She moved swiftly through the tunnel and spotting a shadow follower, leapt, simply trying to take her down to the ground. HP: 20

 Shira was taken by surprise when the cursed lunged at her like an excited dog. She hit the ground hard, knocking the wind out of her lungs and cracking her head against the ground. An angry hiss of pain slipped between her teeth. Flicking her wrist she drew her dagger from her sleeve and thrust it up at the patchwork cursed. HP: 16

Carna took the dagger deeply since she was in close quarters, but she pushed the pain away and attempted to punch Shira in the face as hard as she could. HP: 17

Shira jerked her head to the side at the incoming punch. Even while still under the freak she managed to only get her ear clipped by the blow. Her insect like eyes narrowed and brought her legs up in an attempt to kick out and force the cursed off of her. HP: 15

Carna pulled her fist back as she missed to try again but grunted as she was kicked back off her foe. She scrabbled to her feet quickly and tried to close the distance again, this time aiming a sharp kick at Shira's midsection. HP: 14

Shira was quick to get back on her feet, but the little monster launched at her again before she could properly defend herself. Sliding a foot backwards she slightly lessened the hit, but it still forced the air out of her again. She gasped, followed by an annoyed hiss. She would have lashed out verbally but she didn't have the breath. Rather she but her anger into her retaliation slashing out violently with her dagger. HP: 12

Carna took the dagger deep, in her stomach, blood seeping out through her clothes. She hissed herself, and growled, but tried to ignore what was becoming a higher level of pain, as she spun, aiming her sharp tipped tail at Shira's face. HP: 10

Shira took a slice from her chin to her pointed ears. An involuntary sound of pain escaped her through her heavy breathing. "Why you little...." She nearly snarled before flitting her wings to gain altitude she flung the dagger for the cursed's chest. HP: 9

Carna finished her spin and found herself twisting again to avoid the dagger, she got a minor slice on her side but paid it no mind as she leapt at the winged foe again, snarling at her trying to flit up in the air, trying to grab her ankles and haul her down hard to the ground. "No flying away from me!" she yells, finally speaking as well. HP: 8

Shira was pulled roughly back to the ground, cracking her head against the stone ground yet again. Trying to ignore the sharp, dizzying pain she flicked another dagger from her sleeve and violently lashed out with a hiss. Head hurting to bad at the moment to come up with a retort. HP: 5

Carna grinned as she managed to haul the shadow follower back down. She was starting to expect the daggers now, and avoided it easily before trying to stomp down on Shira's midsection as hard as she could. HP: 7

Shira was quick to roll to the side as the cursed made to stomp on her. Wasting no motion she used the motion to get up, slide a second dagger into her hand and lash out violently with both weapons. She hissed as she struck out, unwilling to let this patchwork freak take her out. HP: 4

Carna missed, causing a bit of pain to jolt through her foot, but she watched her opponent closely as she rolled, and seeing the glint of the second dagger she hopped back from the thrusts, and moved in again to aim a kick straight up at Shira's chin. HP: 6

Shira jerked back seeing the kick coming. It still clipped her chin causing her ears to ring. Her breaths came in gasps but she only narrowed her eyes and launched herself forward aiming to sink her daggers down into both the freaks shoulders with a growl. HP: 2

Carna backpeddled as she launched herself at her and turned slightly; she caught one dagger in her shoulder, causing her to grit her teeth, but brought her other arm up immediately, trying to uppercut her foe. HP: 4
