Something tugged at Terry in the back of his mind. It was insistent and always there no matter what. It felt almost like he had forgotten something important and just needed to reach out with an open hand to grab it. It wasn't until weeks, months after his awakening happened that he sat down on his bed, powered up in his page form of Erebus with his oar in hand, and finally found out what it was. The words to his Wonder.

I pledge my life and loyalty to Saturn, and to Erebus.
I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine.

The words repeated over and over in his mind until he could never forget it. He closed his eyes and whispered the words that had been plaguing him for so long with a sincerity and longing that he didn't know he had. As soon as the final word passed his lips, he felt a power pull him though he wasn't afraid. It felt like home, safety, and promise. When the power died down he opened his eyes to see he was now sitting not on his bed, but on desolate ground. He quickly got to his feet, heart pounding away in both surprise and panic, and looked around. It was so empty feeling. There was no life around him as far as the eye could see. He could tell it had once been a thick forest that he stood in now but everything was dead. He started to turn in a circle to get a bigger picture but stopped when he was completely turned around.

Before him stood the back of a large mansion of Gothic make that loomed over the ground like a dark protector of the dead. At first he didn't even notice when his feet started to move forward, he was to busy staring, but when he slipped down into a bone dry river bed he most certainly noticed. He tumbled head over heels until he reached the deepest part of the river bed where he came to a halt with a grunt. “Ouch.” He said as he pushed his self to his knees. His uniform was covered in dust and his oar was resting a few feet away from him. The brunette finished getting to his feet and walked over to his weapon then picked it up. He once again turned his eyes to the mansion and his grip on his oar tightened.

From where he stood the mansion looked even larger thanks to proximity and just how low the river bed truly was. He could count four stories reaching toward the sky and something told him there were some buried below as well. His staring came to a halt after a moment and he started to walk up the other bank of the river. A few minutes later he was back on level ground and walking through what had most likely been a garden of some sort at one time judging by the placement of things, including a cracked and dried stone fountain. At his easy pace he found his way to the mansion back entrance ten minutes later and stood with one hand on the double doors. The Page took a deep breath then pushed at the doors until they opened with a pitiful creak.

The inside was run down and barren of decorations other then a few candle holders on the walls. He hesitated for a moment then walked in, closing the door behind him. Windows that once held glass were the only source of light he had as he started to make his way through the halls. Occasionally he would stop to peer through a door way into what used to be beautifully decorated rooms, now filled with cloth scraps, rotten wood, and rusted metals. He was glad that the walls and floors of the mansion were made of a dark stone so he would have to worry about where he stepped as much as he would have if they had been made of wood. Even the steps to other floors were made of the same stone material he found out when he managed to stumble into the main entrance way that had stone steps on either side leading up to the second floor.

The Saturn knight made his way up the right side stairs then followed the hallway to the right. He didn't have any idea where he was going in the long run and he knew he wasn't exploring in a very efficient way, but something tugged at him. It was a different tug then the words that brought him to his Wonder, more of a more gentle reminder of something lost then the deep need of before. Soon he came across a spiral stair case leading to both the third and fourth floors and started climbing. He skipped over the third floor completely and once on the fourth he paused. He took a deep breath again and walked into the main hall. It seemed wrong to see the hall so barren. To see long rotten wood with broken pottery scattered on the floor. To come across the rusted swords and shield hanging on the walls, or the tatters of fabric that were once tapestries.

The feeling of wrongness continued as he walked on, finally coming across a pair of double doors that were stone with carvings of hounds to 'guard' them set in it. He pushed the doors open to find a large room that had the remains of a wooden canopy bed, petrified wooden dressers, a rusted floor length mirror set on the wall, and rusted metal figurines scattered through out the room. He stepped into the room, careful of the figurines, and looked all around. There were a door on either side of the room, large windows with broken glass in the back wall, and the remains of portraits to damaged to make anything out. What caught Erebus' eye the most however was a glint of purple on top one of the dressers. He walked over and picked up the small thin metal ring, surprised that it wasn't damaged at all. However when he took hold of it his vision blurred.

~A slim hand reached up and pressed the ring against the hot wax for a moment. When it was lifted a seal was left in it's place.~

The flash memory was blurred and hard to make out in the long run. He shook his head as it faded away only to realize while he had been having the memory flash, he had put the ring on his right hand. He stared at it for a moment but left it there. It was where it belong after all. He turned back to the rest of the room then paused as he realized he had been here for a long time already. On one hand he wanted, needed, to explore more of his Wonder. To get reacquainted with it and, perhaps, find clues as to what happened. But on the other hand he has class tomorrow and if he stayed longer then he wouldn't want to leave for a long time. He stood there in indecision for what felt like a lifetime before he sighed and focused back on his weapon and Earth.

He would have to come back to explore properly on a weekend.
