Salutations friends!
I'm in the process of planning a summer picnic event for Fanonymous. I'm thinking something fairly simple, a couple contests, some light role-playing and just a fresh thread for some conversation. And maybe some victims since I've been lax on my anoning habits, naughty me
I'm looking for some input on what you guys would like to see as well as maybe some volunteers to help out. I'm particularly looking for some artists to do prizes for the contests, someone to do thread design/layout and maybe a couple of hosts.
If you're interested or are busting at the seems with awesome ideas for this (I'm sure you are, you creative people you), you can drop me a PM or just respond right here in this planning thread.

I've got one dice roll game idea, sort of a watermelon seed spitting contest thing. Maybe a match my roll scavanger-hunt themed one?

Heya, I can totally be a volunteer to do prize art! I suck at coming up with games. XD Other than...OHHH I HAVE ONE. I have been wanting to do something related with towns for forever. Okay, so you have the Anons go hide and send anon gifts to the players (not huge ones, like a flowerpin or something) with clues on whereabouts they might be in towns. This could be either Towns, or Towns 2. It would be so much fun, hide and seek! OwO

If you want to head that up, I'd fully support you (and would even be one of the hiding anons).

No.Nonononnononooooo....I do not wish for anything, thank you. The only problem is if people are friends with the anons who hide, they have an easy way of finding them because of the Joining ability. So either out of good faith people won't be tempted to use this method...or we use friendless anons.

The only problem is if people are friends with the anons who hide, they have an easy way of finding them because of the Joining ability. So either out of good faith people won't be tempted to use this method...or we use friendless anons. You make a good point. I don't use Towns very often. But if the prizes are relatively small, I don't think cheating would be too much of a problem?

I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem. heart Now because the method of clue delivery would be through the gift system, the first task would be to find out who the writer was, so the recipient would post the message (as is normal I assume) and the participants would begin solving the mystery of who it is. Then after figuring out who it is they are searching for (which could also be fun, because more than one anon can be in an area, but the person who guesses correctly is the winner), then they would go to the task of deciphering the message, or key landmarks. At the end of the note, the anon could give a hint on solving it, by giving a cipher or something. Finally the winner gets a prize, and a new anon begins to hide. That sound okay?

Off the top of my head? Not sure. A lot of the anons I know are on hiatus. ^^;

I like this idea, I am busy with art from my shop but I can contribute a few traditional sketches (mostly pencil) plus I can help with whatever else you need.
