It was a nice night, cool, and pleasing with it's slight breeze. His ashen hair was tied back, he'd had a hair tie with him for when he'd power up, so just his bangs fell about his face gently. Slate hued eyes looked skyward as he laid stretched out along a roof top ledge, one hand resting on his cloth covered stomach, while the other arm was lifted and tucked up under his head.

He wasn't out, and powered up, looking for fights or even to talk really. he was out to enjoy the night and if something happened than it did, he would go with the flow. Tonight was a night to enjoy and revel in the power he had while being able to sense some of the people around him, to be up here where he couldn't be as a civilian. It was a night to enjoy the powers he had and to use them for his own personal enjoyment.

Staring up at the few stars one could see, thank you ambient light, and sighed softly. How could it be that such little specks of light could be such a cause for trouble here on Earth? It seemed so utterly impossible with how far away they were. The idea of previous lives and some space war. it just seemed so impossible and yet it was true and he was part of it, had been for three years now. It seemed like forever and yet how little progress had been made. Would it go on forever..? He hoped not. He wanted an end - peace.

Running around the city looking around for potential 'targets' was harder work than she really liked. For one thing, she was tiny, she wasn't exactly intimidating, and yeah sure her 'weapon' MIGHT knock someone out, she had about as much force in her swing as her frame allowed- which was hardly anything at all.

She was still nothing more than a grunt, and while sure, that did mean she didn't have to worry about anything too important, she was still lowest of the low. And that was all sorts of suck.

Jumping roof to roof was easier- so with a running leap she made her attempt.
Attempted, as she only managed to grab the edge. "s**t-." She started kicking trying to climb up. "s**t s**t s**t-"

The roof ledge he laid out on was only a roof top away from the lieutenant and their currant predicament. So the noise roused him, he'd ignored the energy signature figuring if they wanted to deal with him they'd come to him and he was sure by now they had felt his signature. It wasn't easy to miss a General's signature after all. The words however caught his attention and his head turned to the side as his legs swung off the ledge as he stood u p on the roof top gracefully.

making his way toward the voice, pace quickening as he spied their situation as he has seen the hands holding onto the edge. "Hold on, I'll get you." And he would.Reaching out the petite General latched onto the girls hands with a vice like grip and dug his heels into the roof top. Pushing his weight back as he sought to pull her over and onto the roof. "You can let the ledge go. I'll make sure you don't fall." If he had to teleport them both he could do that, it was a last resort, but he would keep her from falling and getting hurt.

Was she knew to jumping roof tops? or not that good at it? Had it perhaps just been a while for her or was she injured in some manner? He couldn't tell a thing, given he was too occupied with this to question her and he had also not seen her face. The voice though wasn't one he knew so she was likely someone he knew nothing of.

Oh god this was just what she needed- someone helping her- as if her abysmal record wasn't already bad enough, not she'd be scolded or something. Still, taking a superior's hand was better than falling. Trusting in him, Pyrite yelped as she was pulled up and over, taking a second to get hear bearings. The second she did?

"Sorry sir." She bowed her head, fully expecting a verbal beatdown. She was tough, she could take it. Horror stories had her obedient to a fault. "I miscalculated the jump. Won't happen again, I promise." Looking up she didn't know who this particular man was but-
He was still more powerful than her, and that alone meant that she was so gonna be in trouble.

No one had told Pyrite to not be so nervous. Alas, it was simply default with her.

As she got to her feet he took the time to look her over. The uniform was nice - very nice. That was one of his first thoughts, another was how it seemed to suit her, as in it simply looked good on her. Startled by the apology being given he shook his head. "No need for apologies. Things happen, I assure you. Though I do wonder...has no one taught you or has it been a while...are you perhaps injured?" Wishing to find out why the problem has taken place and help if he could.

It was when she mentioned a miscalculation that he nodded his head. "Of course, those things happen." A gentle, friendly, smile as the petite General offered a gloved hand to her. "General Benitoite, and you?" He questioned.

He was short though dressed in such formal, and very hot clothing, as he stood at only five foot three his uniform seemed to make him look shorter than he was as it appeared to shallow him up in the thick layers of fabric. He knew he looked...amusing to some but any senshi or knight stupid enough to ever comment on his appearance would find themselves at the end of a bladed weapon quickly, a weapon which was at present hidden away in subspace. "I'm glad I was here to help you up, it wouldn't have been good had you fallen." He didn't understand why the bowing or how she seemed so nervous and submissive even....it was odd to him.

Pyrite looked at him, red filling her face in shame. "No, no, I know how. I was shown I just am not the best at it yet." She'd never been good at it. "Er, Pyrite sir. Um! Lieutenant sir!" She rubbed the hem of her glove in her hand, unsure if it was alright to be so casual about the whole thing.

"I probably would have just gotten a bad bruise. Wouldn't have been the first." She'd had he various purple and black and yellow and a whole menagerie of colors decorating her at any given time. "Can say I've not broken anything yet! Um, though, if you don't mind me asking.." She looked around. "What are you doing out here? Don't most generals stay to the more populated areas and do those bigger mission things?"

"Pyrite is just fine. I dislike such formalities, it seems too...formal and makes me feel old or as if I've been in this for a long time." He stated with a dismissive wave of a gloved hand. "I'm glad to meet you Pyrite, I enjoy meeting new members whenever I am so lucky." He spoke sincerely as he flashed a brilliant smile at her. He enjoyed meeting new faces, he did consider those in chaos as a sort of family or at least it should be. He may not know everyone, and he knew some he disliked and was sure there would be more, but they were still team chaos.

"Perhaps a little more practice will help. I would be upset to find out you'd gotten hurt or something similar." He stated with kindness. He didn't think for a single moment that he might offend or bother her, or even embarrass her. He was genuinely speaking and wishing to help perhaps as well.

Shaking his head he laughed softly. "Perhaps. But I honestly can't say what every general does. I like to go on patrols and gather energy still. I do have a little...energy collecting business going as well. I may be a General but I don't care for giving up the simpler things - they are still relevant and still need to be done." Shrugging, or perhaps rolling, his shoulders as he glanced at his own uniform. It used to be much simpler and less layered. This did get troublesome in the summer time and when in wooded areas.

Pyrite was much the opposite, preferring order and rigid structure- even if it would mean that she was the bottom feeder of the barrle that was the nega officers. At least she knew where she stood. Plus with the whole corruption deal she wasn't sure how she'd even managed to not be used for energy herself. Luck of being unnoticed perhaps.

"..I've been an officer for a few years sir." She admitted. Just a very bad, officer who has cited too much work and travel outside the city and lacking in experience to really harvest energy on her own.

She kicked her feet before she bothered to ask- "Um.. would you mind helping me find someone? To drain I mean. Not that I can't find people it's just." She held out her arms. "I'm not the most physically intimidating or threatening when it comes to cornering people."

A few years..interesting. He'd have to find those files on members and look her up. he'd never heard of her, never seen a file with her name, it had to be one he'd passed up when he'd browsed them on the odd occasion. If she'd been around so long he was sure there was a file floating about the Rift somewhere on her. He just had to find it, perhaps Bazzite would help him with the task.

"i see, well then perhaps you have knowledge I do now - especially if you've been an officer longer than I have." If she'd been around longer maybe she'd seen things he hadn't. He was always looking to learn more things, learn of the times before he'd joined the Negaverse.

"Of course, and I'm not all that intimidating myself. I'm rather small in stature as well." If it wasn't that obvious already. The uniform just made him seem smaller than his five foot three inch frame already was. The layers of fabric seemed to drown him almost. "You don't need to be threatening or intimidating actually. Just have the strength and take them by surprise. I find it helps at times to not seem a threat to people, they don't know well enough to run or to fight and throw the first punch." He stated with a twisting of his lips.

Tapping a foot he glanced about them, out into the open night sky, before turning back to her. "We can try the park. people know it's unsafe, they know about the terrorists and yet they still wander the park. It's a nest of people from all factions in this war but you'll be safe - I'll see to it." Unless some royal came he would be able to keep her safe. A Knight or an Eternal he could handle, even if he did get beat up and bloodied. He could hold his own there.

Pyrite offered a weak smile, glad she just wasn't in trouble. Back then it had always felt stifling, and after corruption to just be dumped and left to her own devices had been well.. difficult. "I probably know less honestly. I've been.. out of touch. Family troubles and moving made it nearly impossible to stay on top so... I kinda just... yeah."

She didn't elaborate.

"But that's often my problem. I mean I have this old clock pendulum." She held it up, the weight of it evident. "But not much force. I need to um-beef up?" She started her run as she jumped from one roof to the other- landing relatively fine. "The park sounds good! I've been there!"

It sounded more refined in her head.

Laughing softly at her response to his request for information he nodded his head. "Alright. So then how about I fill you in on the last...three or so years." he stated with a brilliant smile. A lot had happened and if she hadn't been involved there would be a lot to learn about. "A lot has happened over the last three years, several bigger fights, and two royal senshi." He stated before tapping his foot gently. "Dark mirror senshi turning up, Royals there also and Tanzanite is gone...beryl is dead also..." He stated as he pondered over the many big things, trying to think of everything and order them in his own head.

"Well then, we'll just have to work together so you get a bit better weapon...and you can beef up." Taking off after her he made the leap from one roof top to the one she'd just landed on. His boots hitting the roof top with a thunk, or a thudding, sound. "Maybe we can find some low level senshi or knight for you to fight while I assure it doesn't get out of hand or interrupted." So she could gain experience and get a fight in and he could watch her and help.

"Who brought you into the Negaverse, if you don't' mind my asking of course." Polite as ever.

The click of boots was just white noise as Pyrite started walking towards the next roof, trying to judge how far she'd need to run and jump. "...Oh." She said, taking another running jump for the next building.
"Should we talk and jump?" She figured it would be faster.

"Hematite brought me over... though he ditched me after. It's okay though, I'm not into guys with dreads. Not anymore anyway." She smiled to herself. "Dimpled boys are the real cute ones." She muttered.

"I don't think he really was looking for anyone in particular, he just needed fodder maybe."

"Jumping and talking works, a good way to spend the time and catch you up on things - a lot has happened." As she could tell with the small laundry list he'd already mentioned.

"Hematite...I don't know him." he'd given a moment or so to go over who he knew. The name wasn't one he could remember though and dreads...he couldn't remember that either. "I've never seen him nor heard the name. So I assume he's not around at present. Though I could be wrong." He could always be wrong. but the fact remained - he had never seen nor heard of the person.

"He should have kept you around to train at the very least...or someone should have taken you under there wing - if no one did." He stated before shaking his head and laughing. "I'm not either...but you once were." he stated with a tilting of his head, a slight one.

"I doubt he needed fodder or you'd have been made into fodder by now and just killed or used already and tossed away. I don't know though - I can't say. but we'll make a powerful officer out of you - I'm sure of it."

She sighed and shook her head. Pyrite hardly expected him to be around. "He kinda vanishes a lot? I dunno. I haven't seen or spoken to him since then really. I was really dumb-" She bit the inside of her lip. "That's what I get for thinking boys in dreads were cute."

"I had a few times I was given lessons, like how to harvest starseeds. That was kind of fun? But I've never eaten one." She was told not to but-
"I'd like to try at some point. Even if it's for emergencies only. Yolo right?"

Arriving not soon after at the park, Pyrite twirled her weapon in hand. "Are we just going to steal energy or kill?" She asked, doing her best to now show that yes, she had not killed her own human one her own quite yet.

"He must, or perhaps he's just decided upon a long vacation." Like the sort where one decides to never come back. he wasn't gonna hint the other could be dead, and risk upsetting her perhaps, plus why speak such thoughts, in any manner, when they may be far from the truth? Wasn't that how some people said to not speak ill of people as something bad might actually happen to them? Yes, that seemed to be the reason for not even thinking or hinting such a thing. "Maybe it is. But, like you said you find dimples cute now." He stated with a nod of his head.

Letting her speak he listened until they did finally arrive at the park. Glancing about he watched her twirl her weapon. he could sense people, always could really, but she'd be safe with him at her side.

"We don't eat them, often, as they can be addictive and can lead to a person becoming a youma. But I suppose once isn't that harmful and it's best you at least get over the idea of eating a persons soul, in a manner of speaking, before you have a time when you actually need to. it wouldn't be good if you need to and become squeamish or something - some people dislike the idea of consuming a soul or killing someone. I think it's best to get both, especially killing, out of the way before it's a need and a person freezes up. It's risky." He stated with a firm nod of his head while summoning his own weapon. "now then...shall we?" He asked offering his arm to her.

he might not like females but he had manners, class, and he was certainly going to enjoy this night. "We'll take energy and if some senshi or knight turns up - we kill them." Or do there best to do so.
