Fai rushed into the Oasis hospital, filling out visitor information sheet and heading right up to where ever Ava would be. The woman had told her that there was precious BABIES in the hospital to be helped with and she could never not turn down helping out with the twins.
On one side was a boatload of bags for the hospital, donations that would not do any good in her Safe Haven and would benefit better here, the other arm was newly bought clothes from the twins, some toys, anything her best friend's family needed that she could afford on her little paycheck.
"Ava...??" She dropped all bags on the floor of the employee's room, looking around for the woman and those two bundles of joy. "It's Fai! I came to help."

"Over here, Fai!" Ava called, and it was a strain on her voice - the sound seemed to surprise little Natasha, who was sitting in her mother's lap. Aarne was asleep in his crib, and Ava was perched on a rocking chair next to it. There was an end table with pen and paper in easy reach - her favored method of communication, when possible.
Fai's visits were always welcome, and Ava was waiting for her with a bright smile on her face, even if communicating was a bit difficult.

"Fantastic." Fai rushed into the room and towards Ava, a small gentle kiss was placed on the woman's head, before Fai was making faces and quiet babbling sounds at Natasha.
"I've brought some gifts." She pointed to the bags and waved her hand, "Don't get up though, Let me get them all laid out and such. Arilee mentioned they might need some clothes since they are always growing."
She started to lay out some outfits for the twins, letting Ava look over them for her approval. While Ava did that though, Fai was making her way to Aarne's bed to look over him.
So peaceful and quiet. It was a really rare moment since the twins usually gave Ava a good run for her money.

Ava laughed silently, a bright smile on her face. It was always a delight to see others interacting with her children - particularly people like Fai, who loved them. She pulled her paper over, and quickly scribbled down "Thank you, we always seem to need more for them." She turned the pad to show Fai.
It was hard to navigate around speech, and she kept hoping her voice would return someday - but she knew it wasn't likely.

Heeeeee......When Ava smiled, Fai got a mysterious creeper look because the other woman was so adorable. And she didn't think twice of Ava's accident, though it pained her that her friend couldn't speak like she wanted too. Instead, she was grateful Ava smiled at all.
She shifted closer, looking at the note and tapping the sheet.
"Growing babies. I've heard that you have to constantly buy outfits every month, because they grow all the time. I brought some stuff for in case they get bigger or are bigger then I expected." She wanted to hold one of the sleeping babies, but settled for folding the clothes back up on the floor.
"Speaking of which, I am here to help you out! If you could let me know anything I can do for you today, I will do it!" Fai smiled brightly at Ava, "Anything you need, I'm your gal!"

"I don't think Ari or I realized quite what an expensive adventure this was going to be," Ava wrote, and she sighed, but her expression was fond as she looked over at the twins. "Wouldn't trade it for the world, of course, but I'm glad I have a rich wife!" And good friends, and people willing to tolerate her and the children.
It was difficult, but every bit of it was worth it for the wonder and joy that Nat and Aarne brought into her life.
She looked a little surprised at Failyn's offer, but then she let out a very relieved sigh.
"Right now, I'd like to get Tasha to sleep, and then there's some picking up to be done." Another thing babies were - messy.

"Rich wife AND friends!" Fai corrected her cheerfully, "But twins are more expensive then just one. BUT two is better then one!" Fai laughed again, "Like I said hun! Point me in the right direction...or if you wanted..."
She made grabby greedy fingers for Tasha, "I could rock her for a bit...." Only because she wanted to hold Tasha, and it sounded a little creeperish, but smell her. Babies had a soft smell. It was soothing.
BUT she would only do it if Ava was tired of rocking, and if not, then she would go and pick up ALL the things. All of them. She'd do it.

Ava laughed, as much as she could, and then she offered Tasha to Fai. It would be nice to stand up, even if that was just to clean things. Plus, the kids loved Aunt Fai, if anyone was going to be able to make her go to sleep it would be her.
She flashed the other girl a smile - her hands were occupied, right then, with the baby, so speech as essentially gone.

Fai took the infant greedily, nuzzling her face against the softness of the Tasha and inhaling. Creeperish, she knew, but there was just something about holding a baby that made her heart soar. She loved the twins just as much as she would her own, so she doted on them like she would.
She made soft sounds, rocked the little one and smiled at Ava as she went about cleaning and moving.
"Your mama is working so hard for you guys." She sighed, "Both of them~ But you guys will have good life." She had to believe that Arilee and Ava would be okay, that at the end of this war, they'd be the ones to make it through happy and whole.Songstress Kitsune THIS WAS KIND OF HARD TO WRITE WITH FEELS :C
