If there was one thing she hated, it was paper work. She sat in the rather uncomfortable chair in the small office, flipping through papers. Most of them were missing persons reports, energy quotas, and a fair few were the low down on the Dark Mirror Senshi. While Andronicus did not... falsify her reports by any means, she generally left out things she deemed "of no consequence." You know, important movement patterns, locations of Remarque and Leto, what Loke had for dinner.
In truth, she did not know all the secrets of the Dark Mirror. She was on 'relations duty' which hid the fact she sided with them on most things. It was simply safer, and she didn't have to kill anyone.
She glanced across the table to her... companion, Adonis, and then back at her papers. Andronicus had never really liked him; his loyalities were far too tied to the Negaverse for her to really 'like' him. She tolerated him, occasionally internally threatening to do him serious harm one day. Formalities were formalities though, and today was "compare notes" day.
"Anything of note to report?"

Adonis reclined in his chair, legs crossed loosely while his arms reached high overhead in a stretch. Afterward he lowered them toward the top of the chair, clasped just behind the surfeit of rattails protruding from his head - a corrupt's boon of hair. He smiled toward her, eyes half-lidded with a sense of predatory overconfidence. "Oh, there's always something of note to report. For example..." Leaning forward, Adonis rested his folded hands on the table in front of him, donning a highly serious expression while ivory eyes combed over his visitor.
"I've been visited recently by a bright young woman with black hair that fades to this vibrant shade of purple, with charming green eyes and that kind of cold personality that draws a man in. She's got quite a lot to say, I can tell, but she won't offer a thing until she gets what she wants. But she won't give you that much either, because that makes the game just a bit too easy. I think she likes to watch." Leaning back, the blonde stretched by hyperextending his elbows and bracing the heels of his hands against the desk. Something popped - he supposed something in his shoulder.
He couldn't tell beyond the wretched pain in his back.
When he spoke again, his voice bore a trace of strain from the previous stretch, and soon evened out into his typical gravelly tones. "Remarque keeps telling me not much has changed with the Dark Mirror Court. They're still out there taking our energy and corrupting our senshi, and hiding out in Mirrorspace before it all goes to hell. But... There's just something about his tone that gets me, you know? Like he's trying to say he's better than me. Must be jealous - since being tied down with a wife and child, he doesn't have the flexibility for what I can do." Afterward he drummed his fingers on the table once to signify the end of that line of thought.
"What about you? Got some dark, juicy tidbit you care to share?"

Andronicus rolled her eyes. He was flirting with her. How quaint. "Not interested, Adonis, but good try." She pushed hair out of her eyes and listened half interested. It sounded like Adonis was jealous, not Remarque. The Prince was more worried about keeping his people alive then getting on the Negaverse's bad side. Coincidentally, keeping his people alive required the Negaverse not killing them.
"It sounds like someone is jealous," she said to him, leaning back in her chair. "Not much. Remarque isn't the issue. Leto is the bigger problem. She's gone insane; spent too much time in mirror space apparently. She's unpredictable, chaotic, and as of right now, no one knows where she is. That makes her incredibly dangerous."
Throwing Leto under the bus was, unfortunate, but necessary. The woman was a danger even to her own court and herself. If the Negaverse could focus on Leto, maybe it would give the rest of the Court time to do what they needed to. Hopefully.

Adonis laughed, a smug but relaxed smile settling into his features. "Jealous of what, hmm? A wife and child? Hardly." He rested his elbows on the table, lighting his chin on the flat of his palm. Jealous of the power, maybe. I'd look good on a throne - all my subservients waiting for my command. The Negaverse doesn't know what they're missing.
"It sounds like we know exactly who to investigate." Shifting to pull open a drawer, Adonis retrieved a nondescript notebook with black leather binding. Folding it open and resting his palm against the cool pages, he prepared to write with an HB pencil. The words came quickly, almost calligraphic in style while he penned out the key words offered by Andronicus. "If I were her and I didn't want to be found, I'd go where my enemies couldn't get to me - Mirrorspace. But if that's the case, we'll need someone to investigate for us. As much as I'd love to just waltz in on my own, I doubt it would take her long to notice something's off. Do we have any contacts trustworthy enough to start checking around Mirrorspace for her?" He let the question hang while he continued notation.
Pulling out a sheet of blank printer paper, the corrupt hesitated shortly before scripting a note addressed to the head of what he affectionately deemed R&D - Sakuradite. "If Mirrorspace drove her mad, I'm betting that there's some kind of radiation, or other poison in there. It can't be safe for us. But if Sakuradite has a few friends from the mirror, I'm sure she'll learn if there's anything there to cause psychosis. And once we're clear on that end..." Adonis snapped his fingers, offering his partner a triumphant look.
