Irri: *spits a stream of water at her and laughs* That's a ladylike answer to a ladylike question... How about a "hello" first, StarChild?

Irri: As deserved... *surfaces a bit more, some of his back fins breaking the water surface now* Hello, Lady Tara. I'm Irridian, but Irri suits just fine. To answer your previous question, I am a MerKelpi. And you're a wind, are you not?

Sitara Tara: *grins* Sorry, I've just never met a MerKelpi before! Its nice to meet you Irri. *tilts her head* Yep! *ruffles her wings and turns, showing off her tail* With a bit of unicorn thrown in for good measure. *winks*

Irri: I rather gathered that. *laughs at her, tossing his mane out of his eyes* My kin and I are new to the waters around this land, though we've crossed paths with several horses of the sea... *glances at the wings, and then tail with a laugh* I've not met either kind, but we do like stories...

Sitara Tara: *plops down in her spot* Really? Well, welcome! My family lives over there, through those trees. *hums* I do have stories! Lets see... I'm a wind, as is my mom. My Dad is a ground, but he has a tail like me! My brother isn't as special, he just has wings. *giggles*

Irri: *swims into the shallows, bracing himself with his forelegs and listening with ears perked in interest* Hmm, that so? Sounds rather nice. I came here with my four brothers, but we've not spent much time together since. At least one has joined up with the pirates, I guess we won't see him again... *sighs*

Sitara Tara: *tilts her head* I'm sorry you haven't gotten to see them much. My brother and I are almost inseparable... Except when he's being a drama queen. *giggles* Pirates? Oh my... I haven't met any pirates either, but I don't think I want too. *smiles* I live really close to my Grandpas and Greatgrandpa too. My Mom's dad is an Alicorn! Have you met one of those before?

Irri: Thank you, you are very kind. *sighs, fins drooping a bit with the exhale* It is sad, but I hope they are all happy. *smiles* My kin and I are not so close as that, I find I consider you most fortunate in your relations. *chuckles* There's an entire herd you know. *grins* Be careful, if you do not wish to meet them... A lovely lady lingering at the water's edge is a recipe for pirates. *hums, then shakes his head* I have not. I have seen a groundwalker, a time or two... And there are stories of the winds meeting the King and Prince when they first visited this land.. But I do not remember any Alicorns.

Sitara Tara: *smiles* Thank you. Thats all we can hope for our siblings, at the end of the day. *winces* Its nice to see them often, it would be weird to not see them all the time. My Mom has always been big on family. So, she's pushed hard for us to be close. Her mother didn't stick around. *makes a face* My grandmother was a ground, no wings or anything. *blinks* Wow, so cool. Well, lets see if I can explain him. Grandpa Ty is HUGE. He's got wings and a tail like mine, but he also has the horn of a unicorn. You know Unicorns are healers by trade? Well grandpa doesn't have much in the way of healing powers. I'm not sure about other Alicorns, so I'm not sure if that's a general trait of just my grandpa.

Irri: *chuckles* That is very true. May they live long, happy lives and finding whatever will bring them joy... Even if it takes them away from us. *shifts a bit, splashing in the water for the fun of it* I don't remember my mother, truth be told. But your family sounds like a wonderful group. You are lucky indeed. *he nodded, as if that decided him, but his ears pitched forward at the prospect of a tale* I hope you will try. Alicorns sound, interesting. *he nodded faintly, remembering a bit of lore about Unicorns and their ability to heal, but the idea of a Unicorn that could fly or a wind that could heal like a Unicorn.. That was different* I am not familiar with them, but it sounds magic indeed.

Tara nodded, tossing her hair from her face. "Both my brother and I wander a lot, so I haven't seen him in a while. My trips don't usually last much longer then a day, but his can go for weeks. I miss him when he leaves, but I know he loves it and it wound be cruel of me to ask him to stay." She laughed. "Even with as close as we are, if we spend to much time together, we tend to fight. We're to similar for our own good!" The mare smiled, "They are. We're an interesting mix or personalities, that's for sure. My grandpa Ty is awesome. He's... strange, but he's fun and he loves us more then anything." Deciding she'd babbled on about her family for to long, she turned her attention to the water. "What's it like under there? Are there other fish and stuff?"

Irridian flicked his ears and considered her words, smiling faintly. "I am sorry your brother has been away as of late... I know it can be difficult to be without a relative when you are used to their companion ship. Still, it is nice of you to be understanding of your brother's free spirit, and to let him wander as his heart demands rather than asking him to stay as you may wish to."
He shifted in the shallows a bit, tail curling to one side. "While I do care for my brothers, I'm not sure we are similar enough that spending too much time together would be an issue. Most of the time I think we fight because we are different enough that it causes issues, but that is a common issue amongst siblings. Though I imagine the twins may suffer from something similar? But it is nice to hear that your family is so close, even if you all tend to wander. I am familiar with the wandering, though mine is due to fins and yours to restless feet. Still, the results seem to be more or less the same."
He laughed softly, splashing the water a bit with his tail just to watch the droplets scatter. "Under here? I imagine it's a bit like it is up here for you. Though I am somewhat knew to these waters, I have seen many different Mer types, which are the larger ones like myself... As well as the Seathi types, which are a great deal smaller. We have hides and scales of all different colors, manes in different styles, a variety of adornments such as necklaces. There are colorful coral reefs and dark grottos, wrecks of old ships and shards of rock like ancient bones..."
