Patrolling wasn’t something that Lesath did often anymore. In fact, when someone saw her out and about, it was a rare thing indeed. Like the sighting of some rare and exotic animal. Like if someone were to sight a really pretty, really sassy bigfoot or something. She just didn’t…care. School had been a good excuse while it went on, but now she was on a much needed summer break for the moment. It was a late one, due to taking some summer classes, but now she had a full three weeks to spend however, and where ever she felt like, so here she was…with too much free time and no way to spend it wisely.

The blonde dark mirror senshi was sitting in a tree, enjoying the warm breeze that the evening was bringing and just relaxing. It was nice not worrying. It was nice not giving any cares about life or her romantic life or her school life…though she supposed they could have both fallen under the umbrella of ‘life’…they always felt different. And this. Powered life, that was a whole other ball game that she didn’t have the heart or the stomach to deal with most of the time.

No, ever since her boyfriend turned fiancée turned…well. Whatever the hell he was…powered life was just a useless nuisance that did nothing but distract her from the things she needed to focus on. Like her future. Her grades and the question of if staying with Jett was the best thing for her.

The girl rubbed the bridge of her nose, sighing heavily. Well. This was not how she had wanted her night off to begin. Why did everything end up back on that can of worms? She leaned against the trunk of the tree and looked out over the small bit of the city she could see. This place was so beautiful. It really was. But…at the same time it was something that she wasn’t quite sure she cared about anymore. All of this. This life, this place…

It was too mundane. Even though it had the ability to be something much more than that. This city was a place that had the prospect of being a crazy adventure, and at one time…at one time it really had. But now. Now it was just…

It was just a place that held far too many memories of disappointment. Too many memories of…of what she wanted to have in her life…and way too many realizations that she was never going to be all that she wanted to be. Go where she really wanted to go.

Destiny City was not a place to have a future. It was a massive sinkhole, designed to keep people there. It was a place she needed to get out of, run away from. The blonde stood up then, swallowing.

That was what she had to do. She had asked Jett to run away with her before, but of course, his ******** highass highness had to be all noble and ‘loyal’ to the ******** joke of a thing they were in. The Dark mirror court was nothing but another mistake on the road of shitty ideas…and here she was smackdab in the middle of it. No. No indeed. It was time to go. She had money saved, and she was quite sure she could transfer her college credits.

It was time to make Destiny City a thing of the past. Time to forget all about Lesath, and focus all of her attention fully on achieving the dreams of Raven Moore.

Besides. Raven Draven sounded stupid anyway.
