Hi, I was just wondering what type of process the shop goes through regarding colorists, how you obtain them, if some one's interested what's the best way to show it, if it's off limits, etc.
If this isn't authorized information to inquiry upon I apologize in advance and understand completely.

At this point in time, Shaoilin is not actively looking to hire more colorists.
If and when we do hire, we will put up a shop notice saying we are looking for more colorists and more information on how to apply will be available at that time. smile

I noticed that the male adolescents are the only lines that have a howling pose. If -- in the future when edits might be open -- is it possible to have a wolf howling instead of the regular happy/mad/timid/neutral emotions on any of the other linesets? It's just not clear enough if something like that is possible. I'd also like to suggest that all the lines eventually have a howling pose. Or at least make one whenever someone asks for it whenever edits are open. I think it'd be interesting to see what way the head is positioned for each line.
Another question! Can the familiars have item and/or body edits as well? I know anything about edits is vaguely stated as "pet(s)" or "animal" but examples only show that of wolves, leaving one to assume they are only for wolves. Just want to make sure this is cleared up so no one gets confused.

The male adolescents have the howling pose only because this was the original lineart before they were revamped. Making a howling variation for each and every lineset is a firm no, I'm afraid. The colorists already have enough line variations to keep up with / recolor for as is (and I also don't have the time / drive to do thirteen more templates, no matter if it's now or later).
A howling edit for an individual wolf might be possible, depending on the lines, and like with all edits (when these become available again) we'll handle them individually.
Familiars can have edits, there just haven't been any posted for recolors with them yet. The use of "pets" or "animal" is for this reason.

Would it be possible to set up some sort of glossary/lexicon of common words or phrases in various languages? I'm envisioning this as being a user-developed project, like with players submitting words to a moderated list as they come up with them, so other users can refer to them in RP. (so say I make up a name for my wolf and decide it means "Fluffy" in Agaphene. I post it to the lexicon. The next player who's dying to know the word for fluffy can see that it's helpfully listed there!)
My thought process for this is that as wolves with differing backgrounds meet each other, it would add some nice flavor text to the RP to toss in a couple foreign words, and it'd be nice for realism/continuity if we were all using the same words!
Just an idea ^^
