It was good intended. Just a chance to really get to know his cousins, socialize a bit, get more of a feel for who they were, introduce them to Cass, welcome Ian into moon, figure out what Alistaire's deal was- casual dining, and hey, he'd get to cook. Shrimp scampi with a light salad and bread sticks, with some lemon meringue pie after.

He'd also invited Dakota and Candace. Dakota was like a brother to him, Candace the sister to Cass. Family in a not blood relation sense.

He'd cleaned up the house. Gotten wine, made sure the bats and other 'vampire' decor that Lex and Dakota had so helpfully hidden through the house was removed; Overall, Marcus was ready for his guests to arrive. That and their possible guests. He said to bring a friend if they wanted and while he anticipated they would... Marcus made enough just in case it turned into a more communal get together, (which he hoped it wasn't).
