The Dark Mirror Court

Things were never easy for the Dark Mirror Court, and right now they seem to have been shoved to the sidelines while the Negaverse combats the remaining Order members. The Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court have operated platonically so far, though there has always been a bit of competition between the two. They have competed for resources—both in the form of energy and senshi—and now, more than ever, are their differences showing.

While the Negaverse has risen to power, The Dark Mirror Court has not been so fortunate. But, amidst a crumbling society, they have survived. And they have grown.

Preferring to stay in the shadows rather than openly take sides, the Dark Mirror Court's alignment lies with itself. They exist in a unique position, allowing them to function with Order and Chaos, and they will do whatever they have to in order to survive.

The Negaverse has tolerated the Dark Mirror Court, but only so far. No war has been declared between the two factions, but the Negaverse has not had need for the Dark Mirror Court for some time and are under strict orders to annihilate anyone that threatens the balance that they've created.

The Dark Mirror Court has managed to stay on their good side for the past five years, but their time is running out.

They need to get off the planet—and they need to do it, fast.

Court Objective:

The Dark Mirror Court's primary objective is to survive. Their goal is to corrupt as many senshi as they can and get off the planet before the Negaverse turns their attention towards them. They remain a united group, though each Dark Mirror Senshi is given freedom in order to carry out tasks based on their area of interests.

Relationships:

Relationships function on an individual level in the Dark Mirror Court; every Dark Mirror Senshi is encouraged to maintain some sort of alliance, be it with Order or Chaos, in order to ensure their survival. Players can determine, based on past relations and OOC plotting if their senshi would be more interested in associating with Order, the Negaverse, or both.

Relationship with the White Moon: The White Moon and the Dark Mirror Court maintain a similar relationship as they do in present day; the DMC is perceived as it always was, though with the Negaverse's rise to power, it has become obvious that the DMC has been stunted in growth. They are still chaos, and still gather energy, though they've had to become more discreet in their methods. This might look as though they are smaller, weaker, or have mostly disbanded. Most relationships will be based on individual relationships and experiences. Dark Mirror Senshi. Members of the Dark Mirror Court are encouraged to befriend and save White Moon Senshi as well as collect information from them while trying to recruit. While Knights are not able to be corrupted to join their ranks, they are a good source of information all the same.

Relationship with the Negaverse: The Dark Mirror Court has a rocky relationship with the Negaverse; officially, the Negaverse continues to observe the Dark Mirror Court, though it is not classified as a threat. The Negaverse keeps tabs on them and reports them to their superiors, however they do not go out of their way to attack the Dark Mirror Court. If the Negaverse identifies a Dark Mirror Senshi as a threat or if one is perceived as participating in any wrong-doing, they are pursued and treated as criminals just as their White Moon Counterparts. The Dark Mirror Court realizes that the Negaverse is a huge threat and is concerned that they are next on the list of targets, though Dark Mirror Senshi with friends in the Negaverse are encouraged to maintain their relationships in hopes to have the upperhand in the event of an attack. Relationships are maintained on an individual, personal level; some Dark Mirror Senshi might be friendlier towards the Negaverse than others, or vice versa, but no relationship is forced. Rivalries or vendettas can exist on a personal level just the same as friendship or alliances.

Court Activities:

The Dark Mirror Court still functions in a similar way, and Dark Mirror Senshi can pass their time in a number of ways:

Collecting Energy: Though the Negaverse has established a controlled environment that makes it very difficult for the Dark Mirror Court to gather energy. With the heavily policed Destiny City, it is almost impossible to comfortably gather energy without being caught. The Negaverse is comfortable with their grip across the world and anyone seen disturbing the peace risks punishment—however, the Dark Mirror Court needs energy to further their goals. Draining energy must be done with discretion, both so the Negaverse does not catch you in the act and so the civilian you drain does not report you. Ideal targets consist of homeless, drunkards, criminals, or those who otherwise look as though they make for easy targets.

Interacting with Order: At this time, when senshi are being killed or corrupted, the Dark Mirror Court is a second alternative to Negaverse corruption. Corrupting to the Dark Mirror Court allows a senshi to remember civilian identities, but allows them to be safe under the guise of Chaos. Your family and friends might not recognize you, but you're safe and don't have to give up memories, or be part of the tyranny. The goal is to win over as many desperate White Moon Senshi. There will always be those who do not want to abandon their position with Order; these senshi are not entirely hopeless! The Dark Mirror Court can still gather information from them in hopes of staying up to date on information, and learning the strengths and weaknesses of both Order and Chaos! While Senshi are of far more interest to the Dark Mirror Court, Knights are also a valid source of information and a Dark Mirror Senshi is encouraged to get information where it is available.

Interacting with the Negaverse: The DMC also needs to gather information on the Negaverse so they can try to plan their next move better. This helps them prepare themselves and keep themselves safe. For this reason, some senshi would be encouraged to work with the White Moon to try and win them over, but others would be encouraged to work with the Negaverse and utilize friendships so they can preserve themselves and their alliances. DMS doing this would be encouraged not to share full information of the court, such as their main headquarters, their numbers, or their methods. They would be encouraged to downplay the status of the DMS to make them seem like less of a threat and therefore not worth notice. Gaining information here can save lives later should the Negaverse decide to target the Dark Mirror Court by providing them with information to allow plans for counter-attacks.
