Cleaning the dorm was never fun and that was probably the reason he finished the chore quickly every time. Looking out his window from Lusche, Hwan-jae could clearly see Tragen dorm where his brother stayed and it was always a major bummer that they weren't in the same building even if they couldn't share the same room. But the dark haired boy had never been one to let fate stop him from getting or doing what he wanted and he'd decided to take matters into his own hands by simply spending all of his time 'visiting' there then.
It was hard to get in at night as he had to either sneak in the main entrance, creep up a flight of creaky stairs and pray no one heard the door open or scale the outside wall to get to the second story window and slip in that way. Leaving in the morning before the others awoke was equally difficult. But he'd managed it for a week so far. Thankfully getting in during daylight hours was much easier, like he was doing right now.
Jeong-jae was busy with some chore for the next two hours but Hwan had time to kill and so he opted to wait for his twin brother in his room. It would be weird without him there too but if people gave him trouble he'd just pretend to be the calmer of the two twins. Since they wore the same uniform the same way, no one could really tell the difference anyways. There were subtle quirks that told the two apart but it would take time and attention to learn them and they hadn't been at the academy very long yet.
It wasn't until he got to the door and opened it that he realized he stupidly hadn't brought anything to do to fill those hours and he groaned as he flopped down on his double's bed.
"Dammit, I am so stupid. Please tell me you have comics or something, Jeong." Lazy hands pawed through the table-side belongings of a bed that wasn't his.
((Sorry it took me so long to get this started! I didn't want to godmod if Brayden was in the room already or not but if he is, I guess Hwan was too caught up in his thoughts to notice or something. XD ))

Brayden was coming back from doing his own chores. Cleaning wasn't so bad, but the amount of cleaning he had to do each day surprised him, honestly. It was like they had no down time. Even if he did have down time the tall man would probably be sleeping or just laying on his bed. He was new and hadn't adjusted to the amount of activity he had to do, thus bed was his sanctuary. Stripping out of the uniform jacket, Brayden dragged his hair over his shoulder as he pushed the door to his room open. He expected someone in the room, there was always someone there, so seeing Jeong scrounging through a random pile didn't surprise him. He grunted out a greeting and just fell onto his bed, not even bothering to take off his boots or belts yet. However, after a few minutes of breathing pillow, he turned his head to watch the dark haired tiny teen before laughing. "Jeong, that's not yours... Yours is over there." He pointed to a pile of things by the bed and just nosed into his pillow again. Light gray eyes were drooped as he heaved the most dramatic sigh he could summon and started to undo his boots. "I thought you were off doing chores? Did you finish?"

"Yeah, I finished hours ago, slowpoke." Hwan-jae let out a muffled laugh into a pillow before sitting up straight. Hmm so he'd picked out the wrong bed, huh? He was still getting used to this place and rose up to his feet to make a start to the correct place until he noticed who he was talking to. It was clearly one of Jeong's roommates but he hadn't gotten a good look at any of them really, let alone during daylight hours when y'know, he could make out their features. He'd seen some of Martino and met Alister but the last boy was a complete mystery.
Brayden was interesting looking to say the least. His skin looked like parts had been painted on though that didn't make any sense to Hwan so he decided it must've been natural like a birthmark or something. It swept across his face in a pleasant pattern and he wondered if it spanned his entire body like that. But what really caught his attention was the taller boy's loose string of ponytails. Silvery white hair gradually darkened through shades of gray until settling on a dark black. He stared at it curiously before blurting out a comment.
"You should wash that off quick or the ink'll stain your hair for good." It looked to Hwan as if Brayden had passed out in the middle of writing something and left his hair dipped in a pool of ink. In reality, it was probably a matter of genetic and sun-bleaching but the shorter boy was not educated in such things and could only come to these silly simple-minded conclusions. Unaware this question might clue Brayden in that perhaps this wasn't really Jeong-jae, Hwan pressed on with conversation.
"What happened with you? So much sighing, you drama queen."

"Well excuse me for being more thorough than you," Brayden commented, snorting a little bit as he peeled is boots off, and then his socks, showing off some pink toes and some dark toes. He wiggled them and just sighed in relief before flopping back on his bed and curling into his pillow once again. Honestly, he didn't take any notice that something was out of the ordinary with Jeong, the taller man just laid there for a moment, letting him go through whatever, or do whatever because napping seemed like a better idea. "Brag about how fast you are when you can clean it right the first time, yeah? Okay."Pale eyes opened wide at the ink comment and he arched a brow. Jeong knew this wasn't ink, so this must be the twin. Now if he could remember twin's name he'd be set, but the sun was melting his brain into a puddle and he just shrugged at the question. "Drama queen? No, I'm just tired. Cleaning all day isn't what I'm used to soooo I guess I'm just building up my stamina or something." Yeah, Brayden was going to continue this conversation like he didn't know this wasn't Jeong. How long could he keep it up for?

"You probably were!" Was the response to Brayden's comment on being more thorough. Hwan-jae said it with a hint of a laugh and absolutely no shame. He knew he ought to do a better job and actually take the chores seriously, he really did. But at the same time, he really didn't care if the hallways were dust free. In the grand scheme of life, small details like that didn't matter much to him. Discipline was important, sure, but he'd much rather play a game of catch behind the mess hall with the other slackers or write a letter to his cute little sister with his time than clean. Brayden grumbled about his stamina and Hwan shook his head with a grin as he listened.
"We used to be like that too. My brother and me." They still kind of were but taking care of Yoon-su on their own had shaped them up a little. He watched with fascination as Brayden flopped around on his bed. It wasn't the actions the other boy was doing that were incredibly interesting but the pattern on his feet. Had his skin always been that way? Did it hurt? Many of the questions swimming through his head were probably sort of rude and insensitive but he honestly had never seen anything like vitiligo before and thus knew nothing about it. He would've asked them had he not been trying to masquerade as someone who probably had already done so. Dammit, but he really wanted to know! Why were all of Jeong's room mates so strange looking? There was the smooth Martino with that teal beard, the pretty purple haired Alister and now Brayden. The last one had to take the cake on unique though.
"Hey, wake up, no passing out this early in the day you wimp!" Hwan had gotten up to stand over the other boy's bed and look down at exhausted silver eyes. He figured Brayden could handle a bit of teasing judging by his earlier sassbacks. "Sleep is overrated, let's do something fun." There was still so much time before Jeong got back and it would be so boring to spend it alone in silence when somebody else had finally returned to the room. He liked making friends with the other trainees and his brother's roommates seemed like a good place to start.
"Y'know, something like-" Without giving Brayden time to respond, Hwan grabbed at the pillow the taller boy was glued to and tried to crack him over the head with it (the best he could with a feathered weapon anyways). Although he was also tired from all the training and chores, Hwan did his best to never slow down even if resting would've been better for his health. There was always something cool to investigate or someone intriguing to talk to that distracted him from taking it easy ever.

Honestly as much as he wanted to sleep, he couldn't. Jeong's talking was perfect enough that when he thought he'd drift off blissfully he'd be snapped back to reality and left to stare at him with a look. He wasn't annoyed per say, but he wanted to nap and his roommate was being impossible about it. "Yeah? How many brothers and sisters do you have?" He rubbed at his face, trying to root around more to get comfortable and situated to nap in this heat. He was lucky his hair was styled the way it was, it made it easier to just pull off his neck and drape over his pillow, like he was doing now. He was interested in Jeong's family, in getting to know his roommates and maybe be friends with them instead of just guys who sleep in the same room. They were all stuck here, basically, and they needed friends. "At this point, sleep is a luxury!" Brayden grumbled, just trying to bury himself in his pillow when it was pulled. Alas, it was taken from him and he was hit with it. Yelping, the taller man sprang into a sitting up position and snorted. "Hey, hey! Use your own pillow, Jeong! That's not even fair!" With that, Brayden lunged forward, a flurry of dark and pale as he tried to capture his rightful pillow. Yamashii Months later. I understand if you don't wanna RP anymore.
