The dog wriggled and squirmed and licked at her chin as Aludra stopped to catch her breath. Even with speed and strength boost that came with being a Senshi, it had taken over an hour to catch the lost dog. He’d decided it was a game they were playing and tail wagging had raced around the park, constantly eluding her grasping hands. Finally she’d finally cornered it (or him rather, a quick glance down proved) near the play equipment and had scooped him up into her arms. He was a white scrappy little guy, some mixed breed she couldn’t really recognize. Terrier, she thought. "Okay," she said, holding him close to her chest, one arm firmly wrapped around his middle. "We need to find out where you home is." She used her free hand to check his collar but other than a metal tag reading ‘Poncho’ there was no address. Darn. musicaloner7 Because the best use of magical powers is to hang out at the park catching dogs!

Ruriska jk replying to this now, because why not. B} Adhil could hardly contain his excitement as he bounded through the darkness of the city, doing as Faust had instructed him by keeping in shadows and atop roofs to avoid being spotted by those who shouldn't see him. It was amazing being able to leap, bound, and run with such agility! He couldn't get enough! Long, blonde hair waved behind him with each jump he made from roof, to roof, pausing to catch his breath once in awhile, as well as peer down at the wold below him. Everything looked so different now...
Leaping down into an alley, he peeked around the corner to check if the coast was clear, eyeing the park across the way, before making a mad dash when he was safe to go. His long boots clicked like deer themselves as he ran, the bright smile on his face the only thing keeping him from giggling with utter joy. That all came to a stop though, as he spotted someone else at the park, chest suddenly tensing with surprise from his mistake. Oh no! What if they saw him! skidding to a stop, he darted behind a nearby tree, hesitantly peering around it at the girl and... dog? He stared at them curiously, his little antlers peeking further out from the safety of the bark... probably giving him away.
Wait was... she a Senshi too...? It was still hard for Adhil to tell, having not met another yet, but... her get up was really avant garde from the norm that anyone would wear. Very Little Red Riding hood-esque. And she had a bow around her midsection just like him... hm..

The dog hadn’t given up trying to wriggle out of her grip and Aludra was really starting to wish she’d thought to bring a lead. "Stop that," she reprimanded lightly and received a lick on the chin and a high-pitched barkbarkbark. "Really?" But she was smiling and she gave him a scratch behind the ears. Oh, wait a moment! The arrival of a new aura (definitely a good one!) caught her attention and it wasn’t long before she spotted the antlers and part of a face peering out at her from behind a tree. "Hey! Hey you! Would you mind giving me your assistance?"

He watched the scene curiously, wondering what the commotion was all about. The dog didn't seem in distress... but the girl did have a pretty good hold on it for some reason. Was the dog hers? Maybe she'd lost its leash, or something.
But he was surprised to have been spotted, jumping a little when prompted, and even looking around a little to make sure that it was indeed he that she was addressing. Hesitantly, he stepped out from the safety of the trees coverage, and took slow, careful steps towards the young girl, "What.. seems to be the problem?" he asked curiously, cautiously. He... wasn't sure what Negaverse people looked like. For all he knew, they could take on the guise similar to Senshi! so... he wasn't really sure how to decipher whether what sort of situation he'd found himself in.

Aludra grinned reassuringly as the other Senshi emerged. Oh, he was so cute! “Well, you see,” she began as Poncho barked enthusiastically, “I found this guy wandering around and he was obviously lost. I managed to catch him but he’s a bit of a handful, so if you could help me find out where he belongs, that’d be really lovely.” She crouched and placed the dog on her lap, encircling him in her arms. “You don’t have to worry. I’m not mean or anything.”

Blinking at the wormy puppy, he couldn't help the smile that made its way back onto his own face. What a cutie...! With the girls encouragement, he managed to make himself get close enough to be just at arms length of the stranger and dog. "Sure I'd love to help." he agreed, looking around to see if there was anyone else nearby. Maybe the owner wasn't too far off...
Her latter comment made him quickly look to her, and give an apologetic smile, "Oh I'm sorry if I offended you. It's just... this is my first time out on my own, you see." he explained, bending at his waist, with his hands on his knees to get a closer look at the pooch, "Where's your home at, puppy?" Adhil cooed, as though the dog would somehow miraculously respond and give them the answer.

"You didn’t offend me" Aludra laughed and ruffled the Poncho’s ears. "You’re doing a good job and you do have to be careful."The dog barked and tried wriggle free to get at Adhil, clearly intent on licking the other Senshi’s face. "Buuut… can you feel it? Our auras are similar. You feel warm and light." She closed her eyes, as if basking in the invisible glow of his aura. Then she snapped back to business. "So we can’t exactly check if he has a microchip, so we might have to drop him off at the vet and they can do the rest."

Relieved to see he'd not made her feel bad, Adhil was able to relax all the more. So this was another Senshi, he figured. His first one too met, too! He... wanted to ask her things, but... well, there was a more pressing issue at hand it seemed.
The mention of the auras made him lift his eyes from the puppy, to the girl again, blinking with surprise. Aura...? As she described it, he seemed to come to some sort of understanding, nodding slowly, a hand placing to his chest. Yes.. he could... feel the aura. Maybe he'd just not really paid too much attention to it, or figured this was just a feeling that was part of being a senshi, but he definitely could now! "Yes, you're right." he finally murmured in a sort of awe inspired tone.
With her attention back on the dog, Adhil drew his brows slightly to express his worry for the idea. "It'd be unfortunate if someone never came and got him, though." he reached out to offer a gloved hand to the pooch to sniff. "maybe there's some flyers up already, for those who are looking for him?"

Aludra watched his face and nodded when she saw the exact moment when he tuned into their auras. “After you’ve met someone from the Negaverse you just… know. They feel different, mean I guess, and the really strong ones just feel really scary.” Coming face to face with someone who was ten times stronger and probably likely to hurt you was plain terrifying. Poncho sniffed and licked eagerly at the offered hand. “That’s a good idea. I didn’t have a chance to look around. We should walk around a bit and see if we can find one.” And hopefully if anyone saw them out and about, they’d just think they were a couple of kids playing dress up.

The Negaverse... he still had mixed feelings about them. But he also didn't know that much about them to begin with. Still, there was a part of him that felt bad for them, even though they were the villains and enemies. He wanted to ask more about the girls comments, but... he felt maybe it might not be right, given they'd only just met one another. So he settled with a nod of understanding instead, focusing more on remembering this feel of... an aura.
When his hand was accepted, his smile returned, giggling lightly as he turned it to gently pet the dogs cheek, and then rub at the base of an ear. "Sounds good to me." straightening upright, he looked around to the nearest sidewalks, also a bit concerned about the public seeing them. Faust had said to stay out of the shadows, and to basically not draw attention, but... what choice did he have with something like this?
"Maybe we can start where you found him at? his neighborhood could be near there."

Aludra stood, maneuvering Poncho in her arms and turning to face the direction she’d come to get to this point. “Well, before we got to the park, I chased him for two blocks. I saw him running around in the streets.” She smooched his nose and got a big lick in return. “Maybe we should head back that. He might even know where his own house is and lead us there.”

Following the path she laid out for them by aiming her attention said way, Adhil gave a small nod in understanding. By the sounds of it... the pup's home couldn't be too far! "Let's get to it then." he agreed with a smile, starting on the direction indicated.
But he did pause, to turn back towards the girl and canine, "Oh, by the way I'm Hi-.." he stopped himself just in time. Oh, right! He wasn't supposed to give out his real name. "Adhill." he corrected, with a semi-sheepish smile, "What's your name?"

Aludra trotted alongside him, doing her best to keep the wriggly dog from jumping out of her arms. She was grinning when Adhil introduced herself, remembering the odd slip of the tongue herself. "Aludra," she replied proudly. "I’m the Senshi of Pathways."

He felt pretty grateful to have met another Senshi on his first time out himself, and a seemingly nice one at that. "It's nice to meet you, Aludra." he couldn't help giggling lightly from the pups eager and anxious demeanor. "Would you like me to carry him for you?" surely her arms were getting tired from restraining the bucking bronco. Though... his mind was lingering on 'Pathways'. "I'm.. Senshi of Deer, I guess." he added on in a delayed fashion.

"Yes please," Aludra said with relief as she handed the wriggling dog over to Adhil. The antlers had probably made it obvious but it was still exciting. "I watched a show about deer the other day. Did you know the antlers of deer are the fastest growing living tissue on earth? They're so fascinating and the fawns are just super cute. I went to a petting farm a couple of years ago and there were some there."
