 It was not often that Tabitha left the desert for the northern plains, nor was it often that she was not being dragged along on one of her dear sister Jane's adventures. But such occurrences did happen upon occasion, and Tabitha Genesis was relishing her current freedom while she could. And yet, at the same time, it was intimidating to be wandering on her lonesome. If Jane was there, her outgoing sister drew the attention to herself, but on her own, Tabitha was forced to take the spotlight whenever anyone noticed her. The situation being what it was, it also meant that Tabby had to deal with the consequences of that. But she just didn't get these stallions! She kept having to run away from them because they thought she was flirting when she was just being polite. Having just outrun yet another unwanted suitor, Tabitha was a bit out of breath as she trotted forward. This area was so different from her native desert. It was so... green. Full of plant and animal life. Her stomach growled audibly, making her sigh. What was one supposed to eat around here? The grass didn't look very appetizing, despite having seen many local Azrein eating it.

 Rash stood upon a ridge looking out over the plains, his hooves greatly missed the comforting sand of his home, this place was just not right, not the same and not the desert. He sighed, then perked up who was that? Wait...oh no! The horror! Whoever it was entering the valley was about to come headlong into the notorious party pony of the plains. Dionysus. Oh no, this could not be allowed to happen this way and as the son of his father he was the one who needed to step in. That twerp would NOT pester the living daylights out of that mare!

Tabitha continued on, not knowing that she was about to meet the "notorious party pony of the plains" until he was nearby. She instinctively shifted so that she wouldn't collide with him, keeping her gaze straightforward. Don't look at him, but don't look at the ground, a friend had taught her. Looking at him showed interest and looking down could suggest submissiveness. So she tried to keep her gaze fixed ahead, though she know she at least stole a glance or two at the dark stallion. The way he held himself reminded her a bit of her brother Cataclysm... Maybe she was just imagining things.

 Dionysus was racing across the plains, not a care in the world when he almost ran into an azrein. He dodged as she did and they avoided a collisions, "Hey, I uh.....wow." He said getting a good look at the pretty female. "Hello madam, can I help the lady in some way? Food, shelter a shoulder to lean on?" He waggled his brows but she wouldn't look at him. Then in the distance he saw that desert prince thing barreling down the mountainside. Oddly though he could tell the stallion was agry he didn't run right at him. He hide by some bushes and gestured Dio over. What did that desert lizard want? Couldn't he see that Dio was busy?

Tabitha managed not to jump when the stallion spoke, but she stiffened up as he spoke. "N-N-No thank you," she stammered out in her surprisingly silky voice, her mane's perfect curls bouncing as she shook her head for emphasis. She kept walking, listening for movement towards her. She wasn't smart or charismatic or brave or strong... but she was fast. Hopefully the dark blue and white stallion would just accept her answer; she really didn't want to run after walking so far.

"If you will excuse me for a moment miss, I see a little birdie calling my name." Dio scurried over to Rash who looked like he had a thundercloud crackling behind his eyes, how odd. "Whats gotten into you Sandy?"
Rash scowled, "My name is Rashieran and I was hoping to prevent you running that poor mare over."
"Too late I missed."
"I can see that, try not to scare the crap out of her okay?"
"Yeah, yeah its not like shes a poppy or anything she is a mare."
Rash clammed up and looked away and Dio turned back to his new aquaintance.

Tabitha relaxed a little when he hurried away, though the strands of conversation that made it to her ears made her a little nervous. They were talking about her, after all. She wasn't sure what they were saying about her, but she knew that much. She continued walking, her pace slightly faster than before.

Dio bounced back up to the female, she had seemed to be running, must be from the lizard. He didn't blame her from running from him, he would too and did. He was such a stick in the well sand. Boring and staid and did he mention boring?
"Sorry about that Ms, I got paged by a desert prince and had to follow up on it." See he was an important wild stallion parlaying with annoying princes and the whole lot.

Tabitha leapt to the side when Dio caught up with her, wanting some distance between them. As he spoke, she stared at the stallion incredulously. Did this male honestly think that she wanted his attention? Then he said the words 'desert prince,' making her glance behind them. She couldn't see that well, but it appeared the second stallion's colors were less... vibrant than the one vying for her attention. By the flirt's tone, they didn't like each other either. Maybe...?
This probably wasn't the smartest idea, but it was worth a try. Without saying a word to the dark blue stallion, she spun on her hooves and dashed away at full speed, back towards this 'desert prince'. Well, "pranced" would be more accurate, her run looking much like that of a fleeing doe.

Dio tilted his head and trailed after her, was there something up ahead he should worry about? What else could make her run like that?
Rash blinked as the mare ran at him, was she coming to attack, or more likely was she running for the moron and holy crap she was fast too!.
He saw the distress in her eyes and decided she wasn't going to jump on him so that left the great blush menace behind her. "Run little doe, I will hold the brute off."
Rash planted his feet and waited for the storm.

Tabitha's weak stamina was already depleting by the time that the other stallion appeared. She suddenly realized that this stallion might be even worse than the one she was fleeing, but then he spoke. She wasn't sure about being called 'little doe', but he didn't know her name and it didn't sound insulting...
Regardless, this stallion was defending her, to her great relief. Knowing that she'd start stumbling if she continued to run, she darted behind the bushes that the tan stallion had been half-hiding behind previously. Although her smaller stature made it easier for her to hide behind the bushes, her brightly-colored coat made her stand out against the green vegetation. Hopefully it wouldn't be too visible through the bushes...

Dionysus slid to a stop, "Where did she go?" He peered around Rash, who he might add almost growled at him.
"In case you were wondering she had an urgent appointment that she could not get out of, I'm afraid you have missed her."
"Well she was rather fast."
"Indeed."
"You uh, you don't think it was um, me she was running from do you?"
"Oh of course not never fear, I here there is a bachelorette party by the lake at this very minute, the bride comes from a big family, plenty of sisters." Rash said smartly.
"Indeed? Well Look at the time!" He cantered off his swagger still in his step.
Rash peered back at the bush, "Hes gone, lucky for us hes a bit dense."

Tabitha's ruby eyes popped open as her rescuer informed her that the flirt was gone. She let out a loud sigh of relief and sank to the ground. "I know I'm not bright, but did he really not realize that I was running from him...?" she asked aloud to herself. She shook her head in disbelief, catching her breath for a few moments before remembering the other stallion. Blushing at the realization that he was watching her, she clamored back to her feet. "U-um, thank you..."

"Your quite welcome, and now that he is no longer terrorizing poor maiden's I will be returning to my home, It is much to ...damp? here. Its just not right." He longed for the sand course he wanted to flirt with the lady too but she didn't seem interested in that particular venture. "If there is anything more I can do for you, please let me know." He made a slow turn so as not to startle her and give her opportunity to think before walking off in the direction of the desert. It was cold here very annoying, he didn't have Dio's fuzz or abject annoying energy to keep warm.

Tabitha blinked. "Damp...?" It was rather humid... Was he also from drier parts of the Isle. The stallion slowly turned, and some sudden realization that he was leaving suddenly made her scared. What if that dense stallion came back. "U-um..." She took a few steps toward him before pausing, hesitant. "Um..." She looked down, a blush staining her golden cheeks in her embarrassment. She hated being so shy... why couldn't talking come easily to her like it did Jane? "D-Do you... live in the desert too?" she finally got out, lifting her red gaze to look at the stallion.
