Crocodile was squelching around in the thick mud, fishing, having an absolutely wonderful time at his favorite hobby. The sky was cloudy and over cast, a grey dome enclosing his world and the swamp. Little skiffs of fog drifted playfully over the ground. This was the life, peace, quiet and...INTRUDER. The wind brought a strange scent to him and he slipped into the deeper water to slink over to whatever exuded that smell.

Soon enough he came upon the opposite shore and ...a blanket? What was he supposed to do about THIS? He walked onto the shore and peered down, standing a little ways away. Requiem would know what to do about this...but Requiem was not here. Hmmm.

"And what do you think you are doing so far from home little one?" He asked the blanket, not expecting much of a reply, it must be young.

Crocodile blinked. Awwww it knew how to say hello! Well then maybe he didn't want Requeim's help, maybe he wanted to keep the little bundle, but what about her mother...hmmm. He was a shark but he wasn't that cold, especially, apparently about little ankle bitting foals. Her face still attatched to his ankle he leaned down and inhaled her scent then raised his nose to the air, sifting through the scents coming down to him on the wind. No, no, no...hmm that could be your mother."

Crocodile waved an ankle in front of its, (he thought it might be a her), nose and walked off, peeking back to see if she would follow. If she didn't she lost the option and would be carried, which would be amusing but more so for him then her.

He was sure that was her mother's scent..it smelt like her, but he could be wrong in any case, he himself could not feed the little darling. He doubted she liked fish cakes like he did.

Crocodile tilted his head thinking that meant she didn't want him leaving without him. "Well come along then my sweet." He said and made sure that she shuffled off with him. He followed the scent trail over to a different less swampy clearing, where a mare and 4 more bundles waited.

Crocodile cleared his throat as he approached alerting them to his presence.
"Good evening ma'am, um is this your blanket? I'm afraid she came for an unplanned visit."

"A lovely name, My name is Crocodile." He snorted when the blanket returned to him. "I see that, what should I do?" He looked at the foals mother with entreaty in his eyes. "She uh won't let me go, I enjoy her company greatly but I don't know much about foals."

I mean really she belonged with her family didn't she? One of the other blankets this one with fiery swirls growled and clamped onto his other ankle.

"Beautiful children you have, pretty soon I won't be able to walk."

"Ow, um would you consider..a sleep over? Maybe once she gets bored with me she will let my poor leg go?" It broke his heart to see the little nipper disapointed, specially when she was so flattering.

Lien promptly spat him out and shuffled back to his mama, he liked it when she did that. Made him feel special. Full of himself for giving the newcomer a licking he settled amoung his siblings satisfied.

"I'll bring her back tommorow, Thank you Ca." And he wobbled off with his little anckle bitter prize. Odd how the mother didn't think that ankle biting was odd, maybe she had a shark in her family too. The idea made him smile.

That night he slept on the shore, he figured it would be more comfortable for the foal.
