Perhaps the week had only gone by so quickly because he wanted to visit his wonder again. Though he would never be the sort to complain about work, he couldn't help but feel driven by this other motivating force. Once the week had ended, Howl dawned his knight's uniform and traveled to the Wonder he represented.

"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty..." he uttered as he ran his gloved finger through the Odelian feather adorning his hair. It took one simple stroke before the familiar blue energy seemed to gather and his companion had arrived.

Fleurette's teal eyes blinked at Nysa, seeming to consider him briefly before her head dipped in close to his face.

"Goodness, my dear... you seem rather bold this evening!" With a kind smile, he held out his hand so that his avian friend could inspect it as she desired. It seemed as if she had more faith in the lad, for she rather easily seemed to lean in and allow his hand to feel the cool energy running against his glove. Her crest seemed to perk up eagerly before she hopped back slightly.

The Odelian spread her wings out and then hopped towards the panel facing the underwater gardens. Her head and long neck seemed sway excitedly as her legs continued to almost dance about as she looked over the watery depths.

It was rather curious. Moving his newly cooled hand to his lips, the knight murmured "...pray tell... what has got you so giddy, Fleurette?" The lad had to close his eyes and take a deep breath to clear his mind of the fact he was technically underwater at the moment. One crack in the glass and he'd be drowning.

Taking an uncertain step forward, he opened his eyes to look over the gardens again. His Ancestor had mentioned that these gardens had looked far more beautiful during the Silver Millennium. Where Earth coral reefs were an untamed beauty, apparently this sort of reef had been tamed. It was odd to think of a neat and trim coral reef. It wasn't particularly ugly in his imagination, it was just different from what Nysa knew.

Glancing to the Odelian to his side, he saw that she was still seeming to dance about playfully. Her movements were so wild now that her wings actually seemed to be penetrating the glass separating him from the waters outside. His heart felt as if it skipped a few beats as his own fears briefly flickered through his consciousness.

...it will not break... he silently reminded himself.

"...might I ask what it is you are doing, Fleurette?" His lips couldn't help but twitch in amusement at the Odelian's antics.

Her bright teal eyes looked to him, then turned to look at the gardens before she looked back to him, her body moving the same manner as before.

"...seeing as you are not solid... I think you are permitted to go outside as you wish, you sweet girl..."

The bird hopped, but once more leaned in, her eyes looking into Nysa's.

In a gentle voice, he reassured in a near whisper "You have my blessing, Fleurette..."

With a giddy hop, the bird pushed herself through the glass with ease, pressing her wings against her body tightly. Her legs seemed to kick as her body started to practically glide through the waters outside. Though she moved about wildly and freely in the water, the Odelian's movements did not even cause the water to stir.

Even if this wasn't real and was merely a sort of illusion, the Knight couldn't help but feel as if he was truly watching his companion swim, as carefree as he had ever seen the bird.

For a moment, her graceful figure swam up, almost as if to touch the evening light, but as it almost seemed like she would touch the surface, her body phased out again.

He stood silent for a bit as he gazed at the spot where she had phased out. ...it did not look very high up...

Shaking his head gently, he turned away from the glass panel.

"...is that all you wanted, Fleurette?" He lifted a hand and stroked the feather in his hair once more.

"...you are... full of surprises..."

With a sigh, he phased out, returning back to his mundane life. He had something to look forward to, and he would not forget that.
