Who was the first furry-type character that caught your attention? A little crush maybe, or just a general interest. Was it a cartoon character? Someone's fursona?

I'll start this off by sharing mine.  I've always been into weres, so I guess having a fondness for a character in Digimon called Weregarurumon isn't shocking. He's the first I can remember, anyway.

Tbh I can't quite remember my "first" furry crush sweatdrop
However the two I can remember farthest back being are Kovu and also Weregarurumon XD
(I know he's not technically "furry" but I also had a thing for Jak)

Impmon from Digimon, which was closely followed by Randall from Monsters Inc. At the time, I thought it was odd that I was obsessed with non-human characters. Now it's an oddity if I attach to a human character.

I had a major crush on Gin from Rosario + Vampire. And Leo from the video game Phantasy Star. Now its the UTAU WALTT x3
