You need:
1. Your mom's curtains.
2. A large pair of scissors (or something sharp)

Just cut the shape and size then tie the product around your neck.

2. A large pair of scissors (or something sharp)

Just cut the shape and size then tie the product around your neck.

I've got two of those.
One white and one black.
But I want to fuse them together and cut the middle portion out of the black one to slap on the opposite side of the white one so's there's a black line across the white side of the cape and a white line across the black side of the cape.

This apparently requires you to know how to fuse cloth together.
Which is a b***h.

Sewing really is a pain. I'm working on making an Ursula (from The Little Mermaid) costume, so I have to sew the tentacles like this, and it's horrible. I never realized how tedious it was until I had to pin the pattern onto the fabric 12 different times and then pin the fabric pieces to each other 6 times... I wanted to kill myself by the end of it, and I still haven't even finished sewing them gonk

Staplers or have minions hold the cloth together while you gallivant.
