The roof of The Machinist's mobile headquarters is by no means smooth. It is ragged and jutted with many openings leading inside and exhaust ports leading out. But only a fool would believe that it is unguarded or an easy way in. Even the Machinists have trouble keeping track of the labyrinth of entryways and exit ways, but they have created many guards and security systems for that purpose. Anyone attempting to enter can expect to meet stiff resistance even if the official Machinist Order doesn't even know they're there yet. Despite the infrastructure covering the roof, there are relatively few people up here and that is because the terrain is rough, inhospitable and unforgiving. Even without resistance from security systems, it is easy to get lost and isolated, to encounter unexpected pitfalls and environmental hazards, or to meet some of the vicious scavengers and riff-raff that make their homes on the outer layer of the mobile headquarters. But perhaps the biggest hazard is when the headquarters begins to move at high speed: the wind can whip across the surface at hurricane speeds lifting even heavy machinery off the ground and into the air if it's not secured. Due to these hazards and the strong criminal element, the official Machinist forces rarely venture up here except in great force.

From the shadow of one of the many monitoring stations posted on the roof of the headquarters, there was a faint gleam of metal. The barrel of a long sniper rifle sticking ever so slightly out of the darkness. The one behind it was laying prone on the ground, one eye already squeezed shut as she looked through the scope. She glanced around one last time to make sure everything was in place before she went back to her scope. Her target, a small dark airship, was finally pulling in closer after having hovered behind some clouds for the past 15 minutes or so. She briefly reached up and pressed her earbud. "Target in range..." she said softly. She waited several moments before receiving a response from the other side. She gave a small smile. This was her first major mission for Saint Clara and she wasn't about to mess it up. The girl leaned back down behind the scope and held her breath, the long barrel of the gun not even swaying. Suddenly there was a loud *crack* and the sniper rifle fired, sending a large bullet screaming towards the airship. It whistled through the air undetected for several moments until it reached the airship. As soon as it struck the hull it was obvious that this was no normal bullet. It pierced straight through the siding of the ship like it was tissue paper, ripping through crew apartment after crew apartment before slamming straight into the engine and detonating. There was a subsequent explosion from the engine and the ship began to list wildly, unwillingly turning from its course and rolling to the side. Smoke and flames trailed out of the back as it began to crash, heading straight down towards the headquarters. The sniper grinned. "Now! OPEN FIRE!" She yelled to her gathered support units as the ship came well within range of all guns.

These are the type of machines that are beyond the limits of human feeling and the human mind, however. They desire only what they are programmed for, and see nothing else but reticles with their cold eyes. They are called Death Machines, and they sow ruin.
The first blasts started before the sniper could finish her command, the blue and grey firing clunky looking shells into the sky. It would create a barrier of explosions for those jumping off the doomed vessel. Meanwhile, the purple robot broadcast an eerie noise into the smokey air around them. It would jam up all kinds of soul perception, and even play with a person's ability to tell things like direction. That effect would be seen later, though. For now, it was like that annoying mosquito ringtone (I hated those).

The girl grinned as she watched her shot land and saw her support team begin to light up the sky. She had completed her big mission for Saint Clara. She'd be so pleased! She raised her hand to her ear and pressed down on the communications device. "Target down," she said softly as she watched the ship begin to turn towards them and head in their direction, wobbling out of control. It wasn't a big deal if the ship crash-landed on their roof: it would cause some minor damage but it wouldn't penetrate the ceiling and the automatic repair systems could fix the damaged portion of the roof in time. All that was left now was to wait for the ship to crash and then go to the crash site to finish off any survivors. She was about to lower her hand from her ear when there was a loud groaning in the sky. The girl's head shot upwards as she looked for the source of the sound. Several seconds later her eyes widened in surprise and fear as some kind of massive monster broke through the clouds and turned, heading towards the headquarters. "HOLY SH*T!" She yelled, frantically turning towards the robots around her. "SHIFT ALL FIRE! SHOOT IT!!! SHOOT IT!!" She yelled before lowering her hand from her communications link and grabbing her sniper rifle. She hefted it up and began firing from the hip towards the monster that was diving towards them. It was so large that even at this distance it was almost impossible to miss.

The shroud you see is meant to disturb certain brain functions. Do not go near it, said 101 chiming in. Sure enough, though, a great wall of what could be considered smoke lay out a few dozen meters. Inside it, a subtle buzzing could be heard, and, perhaps more deviously, be confused for innocent machinery. As soon as the skyshark hit the barrier, it would become less aware of its surroundings. And if that weren't enough to throw the trail, 103 was laying down a light layer of liquid nitrogen in front of the group. The skyshark would sense little heat, if it had the ability, and its Beta waves would be so knotted up that it would think the group was a mile to the West of where they actually were. Why waste bullets? This was time to watch.

Emma had heard Herald speak to her but everything right after that was a blur. Now she found herself under a lot of debris with a small barrier around herself. She still had quite a few cuts and burns now. She coughed a few times before managing to dig herself out of the debris pile she was under. She blinked a few times before looking around. She glanced up and realized they were in a hole of metal. At least anyone on the roof would be temporarily destracted by the skyshark. She then realized just how bad the whole crash was and wasn't sure if the others were alright or not. She glanced around the crash site "Is everyone alright?... And by 'alright' I mean alive?" she called out. ☾

He must take a stance were he can counter a attack ment towards him. when he is attacked he sends his hands in a straight position and sends it towards the opponent like a jet. He has the ability to make it strong enough to penetrate the body. + Earth/Mud ability: With this ability he can use rock to his advantage when fighting. Creating multiple weapons and causing his fighting style ((muay thai)) to become stronger with the strikes he uses. But when he's manipulating rock he cannot fight when someone else is using water to fight back. When he uses rock it changes and becomes soft when struck with water. When using mud he can create long distance projectile, striking techniques for example a whip. But he can fight someone who uses air to fight him. it can just blow away his mud. + Gravitational force manipulation: With this ability he can use gravitational force Meaning he can repeal, attract or suspend a person in animation for a short period of time. This ability is deadly when it comes to fighting. It can fracture/ and break bones when used. The weakness is that this can extend a maximum of only 7 feet around him. + Flare: using this ability he can generate a bright light used to signal others far away or to distract his attackers. It's generated from his hand so when he uses it, the light forms a giant ball around him. But if his hands are broken, Or covered at the time he cannot use it for obvious reasons. + Electricity manipulation: With this ability he can manipulate electricity. It gets stronger when their is a thunder storm and lightning is striking. He can also use this on water but not when he's in water. or if he's soaked in water. If he does he also Electrocutes himself. + Dark leg strike: This ability sends his power to his legs. It may not look it but the strike and strength can send a man threw a wall. It also has a stance change. In one stance its a blunt and destructive weapon. in the second it is a sharp and quick weapon. The weakness of this ability is that his leg can be trapped due to it not being skinny like a sword. So he can actually break his legs when he's in stance two. and in stance one he can be cut threw since it's not in stance 2. It's does not become tough and hard to cut threw when in stance one so he cannot use this stance when dealing with a blade. + Shadow manipulation: With this ability he can use his shadow to impale or trap someone inside of it. It's kind of like a trap box. The other techniques that come along with it is that it that he can create large needle threads that can come out of the ground. He can also latch onto another persons shadow controlling their body movement but they have to be on the ground. the control ability has a cool down time ((4-5 post)).

As the ship crashed on the roof, Nasiga pulls herself up quick enough to create a fire shield around her and Killian just before the crash. The rest was a blur once she woke up and slowly pushes up with minor cuts yet she could only get semi-halfway up. Her arm was caught under a metal beam, gripping it she then heats it up as it starts melting away, freeing her arm with success but it dislodged her arm. "Forget transportation. Focus on seeing if the rest are flipping safe and think of a way to blow up this place after we get them out." Nasiga said, forcing her arm back in place with a loud pop.

As the ship came crashing down on top of the roof of the Machinist's Headquarters, the loud sound of metal scraping against metal was all that could be heard as the ship skidded across the roof, destroying any and all structures that laid in its path. After a few seconds, the ship had stopped and there was little movement coming from within it. Suddenly, one by one, the passengers aboard it, began to move and stutter, but it seemed as though most had sustained some nasty cuts and injuries because of the crash. Hearing the first three speak and asked if the others are okay, Despair's laugh filled the area, as he appeared outside of the ships crash site, hovering in the air. Unlike the others, Despair seemed to have no injuries at all, not even scratch or hair out of place. It appears that he had transported himself away from the ship, just seconds before it crashed, "Come now, a little crash like this shouldn't be a problem." he stated as he landed on the ground and walked over the ship, "Alright, lets get this moving."
Just before the ship had crashed on the the enemy's roof, Emit managed to grabbed and pulled max off of the front of the ship. Max crashed landed near Emit. Upon awakening, He notice some debris from the ship on top of him, wasting no time he shoved them off as stood up looking around. What happened? I'm going to beat the life out of whoever just shot us down. Are the rest of you guys okay? Max said with furious expression while he looked through for the others. Hey, moron instead of being an a** how about you help look for anyone else? He said as shouted toward Despair after hearing his perk response.

Killian braced himself as the ship crash landed onto the roof of the enemy's headquarters. Thankfully for him, as well as Nasiga, she was able to react quickly enough and had created a fire shield around them both. "I do believe we're all alive."I don't know for how much longer though. he added in his thoughts. Killian didn't hesitate to rip a piece of cloth to tend the gash that ran up his forearm, grimacing at the bloody sight. He moved around to bit to get back the feeling in his body, feeling quite numb from the disaster they had gone through. "Well, it won't be a problem until we actually have to get out of here but I'm sure we'll think of something as we move. As Nasiga said, we have a higher priority here."
Abilities: + Skilled Combatant + Soul Resonance: Can synchronize soul wavelength with meister. By doing so, together they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle. + Shredder: Spinning the scythe above the user’s head like rotor blades, lifting him/her, and surrounding enemies, higher into the air before a whirlwind of blades that slash at surrounding enemies. + Feed: Killian becomes powered with energy when striking enemies continuously. Once fully charged, Killian is able to do double the damage with all attacks. + Senrigan: An ability used to quickly map out an area, linking together the vision of multiple individuals. This technique works by allowing its user to see far ahead of whomever he is synchronized with. This can be used at long distances, but the greater the distance there is between Killian and the individual he is synchronized with, the less he is able to see at their location. + Earthquake: By driving the weapon into the ground, Killian is able to send out a traveling shock wave forward.

The girl looked over at the robots as they explained why she had no cause to worry. She took a deep breath and calmed down, looking over towards the wreckage of The Shadow Skirter as it skidded across the roof a fair distance away from them. "Okay...then all we have to-" she was cut off as the entire headquarters was rocked violently from side to side. She fell forward but managed to tuck herself into a roll, coming back up onto her feet and skidding slightly to a halt. She looked over to see the massive skyshark flying by from its version of a dive bomb. A huge chunk of the roof was missing, having been bitten off into the sky shark's mouth as it had flown by. Fortunately it hadn't bitten all the way through. She looked over at the robots, her eyes widening in anger. "Well that was a fair bit closer than a mile WOULDN'T YOU SAY!!??" She yelled at them. "You think your calculations might be just a little off!?" She pulled out a handheld computer and ran the numbers herself. But the robot's calculations were correct; their plan should be working, but it wasn't. The sniper cursed and turned back to them, walking over to the closest one. "What do we have a giant 'Eat me!' sign painted on our roof or something!?" She stepped forward and rammed her head against its viewport, eyes staring at the two glowing cameras in its face. "Find out why that thing is still after us and make it go away, or send it back to shark Hell where it belongs!" She yelled at it, speaking to the entire team that was with her. "And when you're successful, which you WILL be, come help me take care of the survivors." She stepped back and turned towards the wreckage of the Shadow Skirter in the distance. Without another word she ran towards it, ducking and weaving between the various machines and contraptions that dotted the landscape.
Meanwhile...
"I got it!!" Yelled Cathy, bursting out from underneath some wreckage with the purple orb held high above her head. She lowered it quickly, cradling it protectively against her stomach. "As long as we have this, the skyshark will keeping coming no matter what!" She looked over to where Emma was. "Thanks for saving me! Even though your JERK wolf friend didn't want you to." As if on cue, Herald kicked away a large plate of metal that he had woken up under. "ALRIGHT! Step one complete! We're on the roof. Now we have get inside.""Alright!!??" Captain Rachel yelled angrily from a small satellite dish above them. "Alright!? I lost my ship!!" Herald glanced up at her before brushing more wreckage off of himself. "You're a pirate. Steal another one." He replied. "What did you say!?" Captain Rachel yelled angrily before jumping down and landing next to him. "You don't just steal another one of these! There's nothing else like her!" Herald shrugged. "Fix it, there's plenty of tools around I'm sure." Captain Rachel pulled her pistol and pointed it at Herald. "The Shadow Skirter doesn't get fixed! It regenerates! And that's going to take a while! The Machinist Order will be all over us by then!""Oh well." Herald replied. "YOU-!" Captain Rachel fired, shooting Herald several times in the stomach. Herald paused and then looked down, seeing the bullets literally fall away from his stomach without damage. Captain Rachel's eyes widened in surprise. "Those were...resonance powered bullets!" Herald looked to the rest of the group. "We need to find a way inside," he told them. "Start looking. I don't want to get stuck fighting here on the roof."

Small bursts of blue and black flames appeared around her as some of her injuries quickly healed. She looked at Cathy and smiled "No problem... and he gets nicer as you get to know him." she said as she brushed her skirt. She saw a huge plate of metal blow passed her and glanced over to see Herald. She wasn't too worried about him when the crash, mainly because he was a tank in battle so a crash like this wouldn't really affect him too much. She smiled at him before the captain began yelling at Herald. No surprise there since they didn't seem to get along from the very beginning. "Uh... I can create a barrier around the ship while it regenerates?" she offered "Though it will only last a little while..." she didn't seem to worried when she fired a few rounds at Herald, she just sighed and stretched a little bit when Herald gave the instructions "Yes sir!" Emma replied before glancing around. The only issue was where they should start looking. "If this ship went a little further, we would have made our own way inside..." she muttered with a small laugh. ☾
Despair looked around and saw Herald, Cathy and the Captain emerge from the wreck, he didn't really seem too interested in their conditions as one of the newer people spoke up to him, telling him to help search for others, to which Despair responded with by smiling. Though he really didn't say another word to him. Glancing back over at Herald and the Captain, "Enough of this." he told the two as he walked over towards the ship and placed his on what appeared to be a piece of the helm. Suddenly, a bight light engulfed the piece and soon after a dome of light energy would encompass the entire ship. "If you are worried, then how about I send you and your ship back to where we came?" Despair asked. "I can convert it and you into light particles and transport you back to our previous location." he told her. "If not then, I guess I could stay here and protect you for a bit." As he said this, Despair looked at Herald as the creature barked orders, telling them to find a way inside. "Aye, aye." he replied, sarcastically.
