Ever since the fire that had driven her from her home when she was young, Daisha hadn't slept well. Her sleep came in fits; a nap grabbed under a tree there, some shut eye at the base of a rock here. She never seemed to get more than an hour or two at once.
This night was proving to be no exception. Even though it could be dangerous to wander around at night, and doing so brought her the risk of slipping and falling from a great height, she found herself doing just that out of sheer boredom. Sometimes she was content to sit and think about herself and the world she had seen on her pilgrimage, but she could only do that for so long before she had to do something else.
But what could a lonely lioness do in the middle of the night? A few possibilities came to mind that made her laugh and toss them away. She didn't think anyone would appreciate her den-crashing. Unless she could find a single, attractive male...

Carshun stared off into the distance with an unsettled frown upon his furry face. Since the fire, there had been more and more patient's demanding his attention. Don't get him wrong he loved taking care of others, it was his job... But these past few days were insane! The traveling around and trying to find a place to settle was effecting others in that there was no stable area to stay hidden from the elements, enemies, and so on.
He need some time away and just breathe a bit. Maybe a nice walk would clear his tired mind from injuries coming from others. He was taking on too much and he blamed his mother-henning-ness for it. That was just how he was though. The weather, it seemed, was on his side and a walk might make his busy mind go blank for a bit.ChaosTheories Late/tired tag ^^; sorry!

It appeared that Daisha wasn't the only restless soul wandering the mountainside that night. As she thought about males, one just happened to appear some distance down her path. His fur would have blended perfectly into their old home, except for the sandy stripe that adorned his back. Overall, he was not bad looking. In fact, he was quite attractive.
Daisha laughed to herself. Apparently she needed to get out more. She was the reserved sort, and didn't mind her own company, but there were signs that she had gone too long without social interaction.
Since she didn't want to wake anyone, she went down the path further until she could whisper a cheerful "Hello!"

Carsuhn nearly swallowed his tongue at the sound of another voice echoed behind him. A female voice. "Och," Carsuhn cleared his throat nervously. " 'ello there dear. Nice night?" He nearly smacked himself in the face with a paw at the lame attempt of conversation. Wait to go... make yourself sound like an aged old lion and her a cub. Good job Car.
