The corrupt senshi of plumeria was currently curled up in a tree, branches and leaves hiding him from those who strolled through the park. He was waiting for the people to thin out a bit before going to work harvesting. There were always homeless people in the park once it got late. And well, while he did his best to be careful to not kill anyone, Haumea knew that if he preyed on the homeless, no one would miss them if he got a little over-zealous in his duties.
Not that it had happened. But given the already shaky state of some of them, Haumea suspected that even if he was careful, killing would be unavoidable. Regretable, but unavoidable. From his hiding place, he sighed and shifted his weight slightly. An hour more and then he could start picking and tracking victims.
Easy night.

Start for you, darling!

Black hair fluttered in the warm summer breeze as she patrolled tonight. She'd been going out every day since she'd come back, because nights were hard for her otherwise. Alone in her house used to be comforting to her, but now Eris dreaded the night. Going out and fighting the youma seemed to be a better way to spend her nights. Still, she carefully timed every outing so she could sleep, then get up and go to school.
Tonight was a fairly uneventful night until she felt an energy as she wandered by the park. Her stomach churned a little and the Super Senshi of Discord straightened, entering the park by jumping from a streetlight to a treetop, listening to the leaves rustle minutely from landing on a branch.
Who was here?
She moved closer towards the energy, trying to keep her feet light and the rustling to a minimum. There were people out tonight. This wasn't going to end easily for her, she had a feeling.
A strong Order flavored aura brushed against the edge of Haumea's senses as he was preparing to jump out of his tree. Biting back a string of curses, he tried to decide what to do. Doubtless whoever it was would find him soon enough. If they were friendly, he could be charming and wait for them to go away before hunting.
And if they weren't friendly, well... he wasn't entirely a weakling physically. Though his magic left much to be desired in a fight. Gnawing on his lower lip, he considered his options before resigning himself to a Wait and See course. Hopefully whoever it was wouldn't be long in showing up and delivering the inevitable lecture. He had s**t to do tonight.

The signature was getting stronger and Eris stood up on a large branch from one of the larger trees. She let her presence be known to whoever it was and searched in the direction she felt him coming from. This was not a good night for him. "Stop laying in wait and come out." Keeping her voice low enough wasn't an option. Citizens were going to hear her but it would hopefully serve as fuel for them to get out if they knew a Senshi was talking to someone. Usually that meant run away.
Jumping to the sidewalk just under one of the lights the petite Senshi waited, still staring at the direction his signature was coming from. She couldn't use her magic if she couldn't find him. Of course the battle was going to be on her grounds. She wouldn't have it any other way.
Oh delightful. This was going to be one of those senshi if the tone of her voice was anything to go by. This was shaping up to be a fine night. Scrubbing irritably at his hand with one hand, Haumea considered options. She might be friendly, but the voice didn't sound like someone he wanted to hop out to greet. And he didn't really feel like being hit upside the head in any form the moment he showed so much as his nose.
What to do, what to do...
After a moment's thought, Haumea decided on the sneaky course. His magic wouldn't stop her from wanting to attack him if she were so inclined. But the compulsion to move closer to him might buy him a few seconds. And certainly he'd be better off if he could reach out to touch her should she prove troublesome.
Even as he slithered out of the tree, he was calling up his magic in a soft voice, "Plumeria Sweet Breeze!"
Able to perform once in battle and the effects last for approximately 90 seconds. When invoked, Haumea is wreathed in a ghostly haze of plumeria scent and can draw one person (perhaps 2 if only civilians) towards him. The haze in and of itself is harmless, however those under its spell cannot help themselves in the need to move closer to the source of the scent. As such, this attack is fairly useless unless a lure is needed.

Just like that, before she even knew what was happening a scent caught her nose and Eris insantly prickled, but at the same time moved forward to it. Was this magic, or was this honestly a sweet scent that she was curious about? Her body moved slowly, trying to not follow the compulsion only to find herself still moving. Dark eyes looked forward, fists being raised in case someone jumped out at her. She didn't feel helpless, she just felt like moving closer to the scent.
Definitely had to be magic. There was no other explanation to it. Damn it!
"Why don't you stop this and just fight?"
The second the scent left, she was going to attack... him. He was now in her sight and her eyes narrowed. ...What was he? Who was he? Eris didn't recognize him at all.
"Because I don't believe in fighting just to fight," Haumea's voice carried back, his tone one of amused logic. "Nor do I believe in attacking people who're just hanging out and sitting doing nothing."
Granted, he'd been planning on doing things later, but he didn't think she really needed to know that. Why feed an already obvious hate-fire? And given the tone of her voice... Well. Stepping a little further into the light, his eyes cut around, making sure of any and all available running paths.
He might need them.

Eris swallowed a bit, narrowing her eyes a bit more. "You're not part of my Court. I know your kind. You consume starseeds to live and I can't let you do that." Each life was precious, that's what she was taught. It was when he stepped into the light that her accusations were proved true. He was a corrupted Senshi. He did eat star seeds.
That's it. She needed to stop him. "Who's fighting just to fight? I'm fighting to stop people like you." Her movements slowed and she struggled with herself until his magic seemed to wear off. Good. She rushed forward and threw a punch at him, her speed quick and feet light. Just because she hadn't henshined up in a while didn't mean she wasn't training. She was going to win this battle. Her goals would be met.
Consuming starseeds? Wut. Haumea blinked in confusion, clearly taken aback.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. I do what now? Lady, I don't know what whackjob you've been talking to, but I eat normal people food just like you."
He would have said more, but then her fist was introducing itself to his gut and for a moment, the wind was knocked out of him. Groping blindly as he gasped and wheezed like a landed fish, he tried to tangle his fingers in her hair and jerk her off balance.
"That," he gasped, "wasn't very nice."

Fingers tangled in her hair and Eris let out a noise of pain and surprise. That hurt! Who pulled hair? That was cheating! She growled as she was jerked back and grabbed his arm with one hand, the other fisting and hitting his elbow to dislodge him.
"No one said I was nice," she growled out, stepping a few steps back and rubbing her scalp. At least she could walk herself now. The tiny Senshi of Discord stood there for a moment, examining him before she concentrated, closing her eyes to summon up her own magic. "Harmonic Discord Strike!" One hand went over her head and then lowered, pushing a force towards him. Hopefully he went berserk on a tree, or a bench. This way she could actually get a few good blows in while he was in that state of confusion.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Harmonic Discord Strike Sailor Eris can strike an opponent from afar to cause discord in their mind. Most often this'll enrage the enemy and cause them to be unable to differentiate between ally and opponent, subsequently going berserk on the nearest person/youma/park bench/anything. Strength and duration varies along the victim's willpower; the stronger the mind, the shorter the duration and the weaker the effect is - and the weaker the mind, the longer the duration and stronger effect. 30 seconds maximum duration. This can be used on up to two targets now.
Haumea was saved from retorting with the suggestion that this senshi go and play in the traffic by the sensation of his elbow being smashed by her fist.
Yelping, he released her and clutched at his elbow, hissing in pain as he glared at her. Well, she was right about one thing. She for sure wasn't nice. Total b***h, perhaps was a better description. Doing his best to ignore the pain, he took a step towards her as she stood glaring back at him. Only to realize too late that she was targeting him with her magic. A magic that he felt hit him half a breath later.
Shaking his head, he let out a low growl as his mind rapidly clouded over with a wild rage. He moved to rush the tiny female, only to be distracted by a bush that clearly was the real enemy.
Charging the shrub, he threw himself at it, breaking and tearing away at it, ignoring everything else but the killing rage that told him that this plant had to be destroyed.

Total b***h was a compliment when it came to the Senshi of Discord. The grin on her face was one of absolute pleasure as her opponent yelped and stepped backwards.
Then it was over and he was clearly attacking that poor shrub instead of her. Good. Her magic was doing it's job. Not many knew what her magic was. If they did they were long gone from Destiny City, so she really did have the advantage here.
Eris took this time to charge at him and jumped up to aim a kick with her heel directly into the center of his back, followed by another to his head. Hopefully both landed and he'd skid face first on the dirt and side walk. Who cared about his face? She didn't.
Even as he tore as the bush, Haumea was dimly aware that this was stupid. He was attacking a plant for God's sake! The rest of him simply growled, insisted that the plant needed to die and kept right on trying to shred the thing into it's component molecules.
Even so, that nagging, vague insistence that this wasn't right was still worming it's way through his rage-addled mind. And the powerful kick to his back only helped that little mental worm along. Snarling in pain, he jerked to the side, just barely missing the kick that would have connected with his skull. Whipping around, he focused on the tiny female senshi behind him, the last of his magically induced rage focusing solely on her.
In spite of his back, he howled furiously and leapt for her, hands balling into fists as they swung indiscriminately for her.

His attention shifted, her kick missed, and Eris cursed under her breath as she landed and hopped back as fast and far as she could with one hop. His growling fed her growing self-satisfaction even as he swung at her in a random motion.
Eris knew her magic was wearing off if his attention could shift like that. Her eyes narrowed as she dodged his fists as best and fast as she could, but he was quick. He landed a punch to her chest and one to her stomach before she dropped low and rolled to the side, a leg sweeping out. Hopefully this would trip him. She did this even though she was basically wheezing and gasping for air. "You should just run while you still can!"
A low growl of satisfaction rumbled deep in his chest as his punches connected. Served the little b***h right for making him attack a ******** plant! Though he was still just cloudy enough mentally to not see the kick coming. And when it did, he fell hard, though his hands scrabbled to grab onto some part of her to keep her from getting away. He'd settle for her skirt, though an ankle or leg would be ideal.
"Me run?" he hissed. "You ******** started this, you goddamn run!"
Though given the way she was gasping for air, she probably wouldn't be able to run far.
