Why he was out and about dressed as a semi-Jedi again was beyond him, but Ashur didn't mind so much anymore. For whatever reason he was granted ever more power than he had started with -- there was no way to know why since there wasn't any collective body of knowledge on knights as a whole that would explain the spontaneous upgrade -- the Squire was grateful. His uniform, at the very least, seemed less Jedi-like, though it was certainly reminiscent of the garb.

No civilians that may have noticed him said anything, anyway, which was a good sign. Er, to him.

Ash scratched his head as he came to a stop on a rooftop nearby that park that seemed to serve as a youma beacon. No power signatures nearby, he noted, and nothing malicious on his radar either. For someone who wasn't too interested in his position as a powered individual of DC, Ashur noted that he still found reasons to power up and practice reading energy signals. He was s**t at it before, but now after a bit more experience he could at least tell the difference between Order and Chaos.

He hefted the staff that was currently slung across his back and gave it a few practice swings before he started stretching. He'd been looking into bo staff how-to's on the internet, and considering the quiet on this patrol it was as good a time as any to really try his hand at it. No harm, right? It was just practice, anyway. And if he sucked, if he sucked, he could probably look into taking classes or something.
